Quito City Tour, Mitad Del Mundo, Teleferico & Panecillo Included

Our tour guide Irene and Mauricio, our driver, gave us an incredible day with the Quito Bus Tours. We got to see all the highlights of the city and also has amazing conversations. She gave us amazing cultural insight and vocabulary. Her English is amazing and also her Spanish was beautiful! We had a rainy day but she made the best of it and still gave us a beautiful tour!

We had a great time with Veronica and Julio as we toured the city of Quito. They were very accommodating and let us explore the areas we wanted to. Veronica was very knowledgeable about the history of Quito and the indigenous peoples. We had a great lunch in Mitad del Mundo and enjoyed our visit very much! They were especially helpful in returning a jacket to us that was left in the van. Thank you Veronica and Julio for a spectacular day!!

We had a 6-hour layover between flights and used ChatGPT to find a reliable tour guide. Booking with Quito Tour Bus turned out to be a great decision. We had an amazing day!!! Ivan was a wonderful, conscientious driver and very pleasant. Irene was an awesome guide - very personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun, but also transparent with her feelings about various things (good and not-so-good things about the country and city), all while expressing her passionate love for her country. This tour is excellent! We got to see so many point of interests - Basilica, Old Town, TelefériQo, Panecillo, Equator. We really appreciated how our tour guide allowed us to choose where we wanted to spend more time. Nothing felt too rushed

We had booked a group tour but apparently everyone else went Cotopaxi that day so it was just me and my partner on the tour. Carlos was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and it was apparent he has a deep connection to the city which made the the tour even better. We had a great time at the equator, teleferico, and walking around the historic center seeing all the churches. Carlos made sure we had pictures to document the day and even did candid photos. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Quito if you are short on time.

Fun does not begin to describe the time we had with Carlos going throughout Quito! On our final day in Ecuador, we feel like we saw every corner of Quito, all thanks to Carlos! We were so thankful to have him take us around and were so delighted at his extensive knowledge of the city! He absolutely made our time in Quito sing!

We did a couple of days with Irene and the Quito Tur Bus - although both days we took a private tour. I can't recommend Irene highly enough, she was an excellent guide that did a really good job. Her english was excellent and her knowledge was superb. Day 1 we did the historic city tour and Day 2 we went on the Otavalo tour. If you are in Quito then you should request her as a guide!

We had an amazing tour All was told on it was completed. The places visited were really beautiful and Quito is an experience you can't loose. The dinner was incredible with a variety of food and drinks. Misael was our guide and he really made us possible to enjoy all our time, he was every time focused on making us feel part of Ecuador. A great experience.

Full day tour through Quito with my wife and two kids, 10 and 12. Both fun and informative for everyone. Lunch was superb, as was the other treats along the way.

My family and I went on an amazing city tour of Quito. Irene was an excellent guide very knowledgeable with providing the history the city of Quito has. She treated us like family made the tour very enjoyable/ humorous and entertaining for all my family including my 5 year old. She was bilingual in English and Spanish which my father loved since he is Spanish speaking. We had the best time in Quito. Jimmy the driver was great and allowed us to enjoy the entire beautiful scenery of Quito. I definitely recommend anyone and everyone to have Irene as their tour guide when visiting Quito.

Irene speaks good english, very knowledgeable about the history of Quito, full of enthusiasm, and very passionate about her country and people. Our guide Misael made all his efforts to accommodate our request during the trip which made it flexible. The information he introduced was so helpful for us to learn the culture of Ecuador, city of Quito. He also took us to try some special local snack/candy- that was so impressive. In my memory I printed the image of my crushing of the liquor candy into pieces and the liquor sprayed onto my glasses- the blue liquor candy! Lovely. The intinan solar museum, church, middle of the world, hill with statue of Virgin Mary, chocolate tasting tour, old city tour- all great! The trip was wonderful.

Irene was amazing tour guide. Gave us great tour of the city along with equator. She explained each and every spot in detail giving us information about each of the attractions. She also ended up being our personal photographer taking amazing family pictures. She knew where to go to get the perfect of the location and giving historical information of the tourist spots. The trip to Mitad del mundo was nthe highlight of the tour. The Teleférico excursión was cancelled because the cablecars were inoperable. So, buyers beware, Travelzoo didn’t disclose this upfront.

Highly recommend! Our tour guide Irene was very energetic and knowledgeable about everything Quito has to offer. This tour included all the must see sights and we ate and amazing lunch at a local market. Felt very personalized, we stopped to try local candy, chocolate, coffee, and wine between each location. Definitely worth the price and IRENE was AMAZING.

This is a great tour of you want to submerge yourself into the history and culture of Quito City! Take your passport with you on this your. You’ll be able to stamp it at the Mitad del Mundo portion of the tour. David was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and helpful! Highly recommend.

Quito is a very beautiful city, although very congested with cars, has a variety of places to visit, many tourists go there, it is a colonial city, the capital of Ecuador, has unique landscapes, and its most visited attractions as La Mitad del Mundo that separates the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere, welcomes thousands of people all year round, Quito is the most populous city in Ecuador and has a great cultural history.

This was an awesome experience. We were lucky to have Ernesto as our tour guide. He has some much knowledge and passion about his country that we learned so much. He was so good that we booked another tour to Baños for the next day and requested him and we got him. Thanks to him our stay in Quito was a success. I highly recommend this tour and please ask for Ernesto.

Our guide, Adrian was awesome! He showed us so much of the city, and was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and it’s history. We could tell he really loves Quito! We would not have gotten the same experience of visiting Quito if we had not gone on this tour. We stopped for delicious traditional Equadorian food, too! Def recommend!

We had an amazing city tour. Such a beautiful city, with really beautiful sites and views. We were able to pack so much into the day and really felt the tour covers most of the best places to visit. Our guide Gustavo was very knowledgeable and had so much insight to share. We really felt taken care of and learned so much. In all honesty we felt that Gustavo went above and beyond with our tour. Thanks to Gustavo, this was the best day tour we've ever been on and felt like at the end of it we've made a new friend. Oh and also Gustavo loves taking pictures for you as you go along the tour, and all the photos he got of us were really great. We definitely recommend this tour and make sure you ask for Gustavo!

This is a very good tour to visit the Ecuador main attractions in 1 day. The planning was good, days before they contact me by What’s up to set up all the details. One of the highlight of the tour was the guide. She was excellent, very nice and very knowledgeable. I was a solo traveler, so the tour was most expensive. I was informed a group will join me for the second part of the tour to Mitad del Mundo. It was ok for me even though I had to take a long 1.30 hours lunch to make time to join the others. When we got there, part of the group wanted to visit also the next door local museum that was not included on the original plan. I did not have any interest on it but I agreed. The tour to the museum was very long and it has an extra cost. On the way back they dropped all the passenger and I was the last one. I arrived at the hotel close to 8.00 PM, just on time to cancel my dinner reservation. The driver dropped me at the back of the hotel because he was in a hurry to pick up someone else. Conclusion, I signed up for a 7 hours tour and ended up on a 12 hours tour. I finished exhausted.

Diana Carrasco was our wonderful guide for the day in Old Town and the Middle of the World complex. We had many experiences that we never would have enjoyed without her knowledge and expertise. Wish we’d had more time. Plus she is loads of fun! Totally recommend you tour with Diana.

Really nice day! When I arrived I found out I was the only one with Carlos as my guide which was really great. He was really nice, explained a lit and helped with taking the pictures. Went to the monument, which was nice to see, and afterwards we went to the museum. That was really cool with the experiments on the equator.

What a great tour this was! Really immersive in the city, with plenty of attractions. Markets, churches, town center, then off to the other adventures. The three of us each had different favorites. Irena our guide, was fantastic! She was so much fun. She literally had us dancing! She was very knowledgeable. Marlo, our driver, was a lot of fun too! Highly recommended!! Joe

Erika is not only a wealth of knowledge but also very personable, kind, engaging and funny. There was a demonstration in the plaza while we were there, which closed the area to everyone. She mobilized to make sure we could still get in the barricades so we didn’t miss out. We walked quite a bit but was very manageable. The history behind the cathedrals, churches, monuments and the equatorial line are fascinating. Marlo our driver was also extremely engaging, professional and funny. Beautiful country and amazing people. You cannot leave Quito without doing this tour :)

We had Diana and her husband Ernesto, and what a wonderful experience it was. She and her family have been in the Ecuadorian tourism industry for years. They met us in an SUV and we designed the tour from there. We walked to some downtown sights including the Cathedral, a hand-made goods market, and a food market to sample some local fare. Then we went to the Telefederico to take a gondola to the top of an Andes mountain ridge to see spectaular views of the city and 7 volcanos. Then we went to the Middle of the World and walked on the Equator line. This team was excellent. Ernesto drives up to a parking spot while we would get out and tour, and then he would be there for us when we were done. Diana is so passionate about explaining everything we are seeing, and as a bonus, she takes excellent photos (really well framed) because she has a lot of experience. She was fun, conversational, and her English is excellent because she lived in the US for a while. We are so glad we found this duo!

We did a private tour with Irene, and we enjoyed it so much, that I hope life will one day allow me to rebook and match her, excellent photographer, charisma and hospitality. It made us enjoy and have a great time, thank you Irene, you are great and very professional.

Tremendous experience we had thanks to Quito Tour bus! We did two days of touring, one that included the historic city of Quito, Half the World, the Virgin of Bread and its surroundings, and another tour for Otavalo that included the falls, the indigenous market, tasting biscuit and the viewpoint of the lake. Our group was 13 people including adults and children. Irene, our great guide, apart from being very knowledgeable and proud to show us her country, was also very friendly and patient with our group accommodating our needs. Without a doubt, those qualities made us enjoy our tours and Quito much more. With the agency we also book our shuttles to and from the airport, very convenient through its website and WhatsApp. We leave with a good taste in our mouths eager to return and re-schedule with Quito tour bus!
