Very close to the Cotopaxi Volcano is a turquoise-blue lagoon, this color is due to the high concentration of minerals in its waters, this lagoon is located inside the crater of the "Quilotoa Volcano" hence its name "Laguna del Quilotoa", Inside the lagoon there are springs, which from the shore can be perceived as bubbling trails that rise to the surface, this volcano is 3800 meters above sea level, here you can observe the daily life of the Indians and their typical animals.
In the middle of the cold, typical of the Andean paramo, stands the Kichwa indigenous community called Tigua. It is a dream trip, the eyes marvel at the vast areas of grasslands. There are crops of barley, beans, chochos, potatoes, mellocos, oca and mashua (root vegetables), this variety of crops offer different shades ranging from yellow to deep green.
