We had a great time with Felipe. He was very knowledgeable, gave good recommendations and very attentive. Quilotoa was a beautiful place and we were blessed with a sunny day. On our way there got to go to the Saquisili market & it was a bonus.

Itinerary
A capital city high in the Andes, Quito is dramatically situated, squeezed between mountain peaks whose greenery is concealed by the afternoon mist. Modern apartment buildings and modest concrete homes creep partway up the slopes, and busy commercial thoroughfares lined with shops and choked with traffic turn into peaceful neighborhoods on Sundays. Warm and relaxed, traditional Ecuadorian Sierra culture – overflowing market stands, shamanistic healers, fourth-generation hatmakers – mixes with a vibrant and sophisticated culinary and nightlife scene. LONELY PLANET..
When you stop in front of this mountain, to your right is the north, your left is the south, Quito is like 64km long and 4 km inch, starting from this active volcano.
Place people use to rest, have a meal. Quechua name Tambo. this is a small one, called Tambillo
We are going to look some important neighborhoods of Quito, while we are leaving the city, also the contrast between the north and south part of the city, then we can see how Cordillera de Los Andes divide in two lines, and the most important mountains and snow crops are going to appear on the road, to show us and amazing view, for example Pichincha, Atacazo, Corazon, Ilinizas, Cayambe , Antisana, Sincholagua, Rumiñahui and Cotopaxi . If you didnt have breakfast, we can stop for a meal, it can be in Tambillo or Machachi. Continue our trip the mountains become closer and we are going to have some stops for your pictures YEIH.. Continue to Cotopaxi province we cross National Park by the Panamerican Highway to Pujili.
This litlle town is famous for paintings that indigenous do with lamb skin and masks of wood. the most you like ask for a better price.
There is a indigenous town crossing the road Latacunga city to La Mana. Here we can find some places to stop and try corn, beens, plantains or fried pork. Continue to the rigth in 20 minutes we are going to arribe Quilotoa Lagoon.

We had the opportunity to visit Quilotoa Lake! The cherry on the cake of the trip. We had the opportunity to visit local craft shops and the food was delicious here. Do not miss the opportunity and take this trip, you'll thank me later.
was a trip excellent, excellent friends excellent route and excellent guide . i hope to repeat the trip
We had an amazing time going to Quilotoa with Felipe. It was just our family of 4 and him on a private tour. We got started early and he took us to a great breakfast place on the way. We also stopped to see some of the artwork of the indigenous people. It was quite stunning. Felipe had been recommending Quilotoa to us, and it was breathtaking. We walked down to the lake (bring good walking shoes) and rode horses back up. There are lots of photo ops on the way. Afterwards, we stopped at a local place for a nice lunch. On the way back to the hotel, Felipe kept showing us different attractions that he didn’t want us to miss. He is quite generous with his time and very passionate about Quito. Even though the ride was about three hours in each direction, it definitely didn’t feel that long and I would highly recommend going to see the crater with Felipe. We also visited the Middle of the Earth with him on a different day, and he was our airport transportation as well. I highly recommend Felipe for all of your transportation and tour needs in Quito.
The tour was great! Felipe picked us up in the morning and took us for a very nice breakfast. We continued towards Quilotoa via Tigua and on the the way Felipe explained both the area's culture and history as well as the vegetation and geography to us. He pointed out interesting sites and in general was giving us interesting information during the entire drive (but made sure to pause when one of us had fallen asleep!). He also gave us good tips for the remainder of our stay in Quito. He also balanced the time spent having ab ice cream or lunch with more strenuous activities.
The panoramic view of the lagoon is amazing. A tip for future travelers is to wear light but warm clothes. The guide knows the place very well and perfect places fot photos, also, the guide manages groups with children very well and he knows strategic sites for meal.
Excelent sightseeing of the lagoon with great explanations, comfortable and safe travel from Quito. Totally recommended.
My favorite part of this experience is the quality of the touristic guide and the activities that he realized for ours.
Quilotoa Lagoon is a beautiful place to visit and our tour was amazing. It was customized to fit our needs and felt relaxing abs not rushed. Our guide was great too! One caution, the hike back up is incredibly hard and will take hours. We have hiked a lot and really struggled. There are donkeys to carry you back up. However the day we were there, there were only 2 for 50 tourists. We waited for them at the bottom but soon realized people on the hill were intercepting them. So we had to hike up until we found donkeys heading down. It was a little scary thinking we might not make it back up. Just know your limits and check for Donkeys.
Felipe was an exceptional guide. He was on time, explained all the sites while driving, and was professional, kind and accommodating. He took us to Quilotoa, Shalala, art galleries on the way and artesanal market in Quito. We enjoyed our private tour thoroughly.
This private tour is quite relaxing and flexible. We had 3 hours to explore on our own. The view is breathtaking. The culture is interesting and the food is clean and yummy. We had potato soup and pork chops.
Beautiful lagoon! Felipe was a great guide. We enjoyed the hike down and kayaking in the lagoon. Highly recommend
Excellent logistics very punctual schedules and travel accomplished, good transport units 100% recommended
What I liked the most is the support we all have. If someone knows less they are helped and given the necessary facilities such as the broom cart.
Excellent Service , Felipe the guide , very friendly professional, has a lot of knowledge and knows what he talks about, very successful recommendations and others very personalized.
Take this tour to Lake Quilotoa, it was an exceptional experience, the guide had a lot of experience, the very quiet trip and the excellent food there was a lot of variety, I knew spectacular places. I totally recommend this trip with Felipe as a guide.
Excellent all the trip, recommend it to go with family, couples, friends, etc. I would repeat it again
It was wonderful to enjoy nature and great quilotoa, pure air and exquisite food..
Nice guide who told me lots about Quito and equador. He also helped us find where we could take PCR test for the trip from equador, and gave us a ride there and then to the hotel.
A super chévere experience, beautiful landscapes and activities to do, the guide was very good and professional meeting the schedules on time. Recommended for family, friends and couples.
Travel to meet new things and make new friends to share experiences and be on new adventures that are great
It is an excellent route, full of vegetation and unparalleled scenery, the peace and color of the lagoon make this route an anecdote to remember!
Excellent Service, would hire again, attentive to each of the demands and good handling during the trip. Thank you.
An exit where there was punctuality, a guide with the knowledge and experience required, highly recommended.
More gastronomy should be implemented on site and more offers made accompanied by other sports activities
