The city was so beautiful lit up. We enjoyed a beautiful walking tour, then a trip to visit the Angel. Our guide Diana was very well informed and knowledgeable. Not to mention, extremely nice.

Itinerary
Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 p.m. to start a short evening drive along Quito's most interesting sites, like The Church and Square of San Blas, founded in 1568.
You'll see the Sucre Theatre, an exceptional building of the 19th century; the Convent of El Carmen Bajo and many other architectonic jewels!
You will do a wonderful full walk along the main streets, plus quick stops in the most beautiful spots of Quito's colonial town, in order to see the incredible structures, buildings, monasteries, churches and squares lighted up by the moonlight and splendid colours!
This is the best and safest opportunity to enjoy the lovely atmosphere of Quito at night. It is also possible to visit the charming neighbourhood of La Ronda where we can try one the most famous home-made-cocktails of the sierra region called “Canelazo”, which is a mixture of a hot cinnamon tea, passion fruit juice and a few drops of a safe local “moon shine”.
After your unforgettable walk, you will drive up to the top of "El Panecillo" hill, which is located at 3.200 meters above sea level (10,000 ft), to appreciate the beautiful contrast of colourful lights on the squares and avenues, distributed in the irregular topography of the city.
On the way back to the hotel you will stop in front of the Basilica de Quito, an extraordinary church built with neo-gothic style! You will be back in your hotel approximately at 9:30 p.m.

This was a wonderful historic experience of the city. We learned so much about the history of Quito, the architecture of the buildings, and our guide pointed out so many hidden gems along the way. She gave recommendations tailored to what we liked for places to eat, explore, and see. We ended the evening visiting the statue, the largest in South America. She was knowledgeable, funny, and made the tour so special.
Very informative and fun night experience seeing and enjoying the sights in Quito. Night time is very different from day and you experience all the lights and views from a different perspective.
Took this tour during our long layover in Quito airport. It was very nice to see Quito at night. The guide was very knowledgeable. Tour was approximately 2.5hrs long but you will see what is expected. View of the city from the top of the mountain was amazing. It was a nice experience overall.
Amazing welcome to Quito from my tour leader Ximena. Panoramic views of the city lights, close up of the Virgin of Quito, monasteries & churches topped of with some fabulous local pastries & cinnamon tea & mulled wine 🍷 Highly recommended nigh tour of Quito.
A great way to see the beautiful city at night with a local guide. Very informative and a great way to feel safe while exploring at night.
Our guide, Luis, did a fantastic job catering our tour to our interests. We had just come from two weeks of hiking and snorkeling and were tired! So he managed to make the tour as car friendly as possible to minimize our walking which we appreciated. He shared fascinating insights about the old town, the history of the city, the UNESCO world heritage status, explained all the different churches and took us to see the main square with the city government, president’s mansion, cathedral, etc. He also took us to a couple of really nice over look spots for panoramic views of the city. He shared so much information and answered all of our questions. We would gladly recommend this tour to others.
We really enjoyed our tour with Luis. He has a real passion for his city and gave us a great overview of the history of Quito and Equador without overloading us with information, but told us in a way that made it easy to understand and remember. He helped us come to love his city and country and was ready to answer all our questions. We had a great time.
I had a good experience with the night tour in Quito. My tour guide Luis is a professional tour guide. He is knowledgeable with his job. He is very helpful in taking pictures. He discussed the history and the places very well. Having tour with him is enjoyable and not boring.
Nice guide. Wish it was more of a city tour than just a walking tour of the sights I’d seen during the day with my tour group I was traveling with. Still it was nice to see the old part of the city at night.
Really interesting to see the old city at night in contrast to the daytime. The viewpoints give some great photos with the clouds in the night sky.
Great guide Not recommended to go on a Monday night! Hoped to go to bars and find live music, nothing open
Loved the experience! Raul was such a insightful guide, so prepared and knowledgeable. In my opinion a tour that I will definitely do it again.
We had free time in Quito to explore and discover the fascinating history of Colonial Quito. Our guide made us have an unforgettable and very fun time. Highly recommended if you like photography and history. Thanks Diana!
