Half-day Guided Sightseeing Tour Of Old Town Quito

We had a fantastic day in Quito today with Irene and Manuel. Irene shared wonderful history and context about Ecuador and Quito in particular to help us understand the culture. Starting at the food market was great. We had some tasty bites and delicious fruit juices. Walking around historic Quito was fun and the chocolate tasting was a terrific bonus. Through it all Irene continued to point out interesting architecture and cultural insights. Her flexibility in helping us find and visit the shop of Olga Fisch was very much appreciated. We had read about Mrs Fisch. Getting to buy a few things there and meet her grand niece was so special Manuel was terrific in navigating us through the streets and always arriving right on time as we were completing a stop. Thank you Thank you to a dynamic team!!. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Quito.

Diana was absolutely incredible! She was informative, personable, and so energetic! The tour was stunning, and some of the most beautiful sights we’ve ever seen! We went on the hop-on/hop-off bus and loved the tour and views from the top of the open bus! Visiting La Compañía, and the domes of Santo Domingo was such a highlight! Diana also helped us take pictures, suggested poses, and even brought a really cool colorful umbrella we could use as a prop! We learned a ton about the city, about some of the religiosity in Quito, and enjoyed every moment! You will not regret going on a tour with this company- they do incredible work 😊

We had a wonderful city tour with Irene. She is passionate and made us feel at home. Starting with the Basilica, We walked the streets learning about the history, buildings and people. We were offered different options to other churches, candy & chocolate places and more. We went up to «el paneciello» where the large aluminum statue of the virgin mary stands, then headed to the « teleferico » to view the city from 4,100 meters, walking to the swings ‘to touch the sky’. A beautiful visit. Thank you sooo much IRENE to have made this possible

Took this tour with Irene this morning. She was so fabulous. She was full of fascinating history and information and the ability to answer all of our questions with additional flavor. Her enthusiasm and pride in the historic places in Old Town is so evident combined with her knowledge of all things Ecuador wide. She showed interest in our background and our relationship to this part of the world and we had so many great conversations. Can’t say enough great things about this experience. Highly recommend!

A must! We did the evening tour of Santa Clara, and it was absolutely SPECTACULAR. I cannot recommend it enough. We drove through the city in an open double decker bus and got an overview of many different neighborhoods. Diana is a delight, super energetic and fun. Walking around on the domes under a full moon was magical. You are in for a great treat- such a wonderful experience!!!!

This was the best of the best, Jessica knew every historical detail of the city very well. His extensive cultural knowledge was proven at each historic site and her kindness was so good, that we really liked.

It was an amazing experience. From the Welcoming at the United Nations it was amazing how the guides were telling us interesting things about the ornaments of the city, flora, details of our whole tour. We live in Quito but I hadn't stopped to really admire him. Visiting the Basilica was unforgettable and reaching the heights of the towers makes you forget everything. It's an experience worth living. The view of the city is really beautiful and worth it. I would definitely repeat my experience again!
