My eleven day trip with Jhayro was absolutely incredible! Truly a once in a lifetime trip. It was a jam-packed trip, but he knew how to run everything very efficiently. I feel like I touched every main part of Ecuador in such a short time. Our day trip to the Amazon rainforest was a highlight. We went to an animal refugee center where we saw many animals and followed with a visit to an indigenous village. He was always on top of our well being with keeping us hydrated and sunscreened in the high altitude. I felt like he knew all the locals everywhere and his expertise shines through the overall experience. Highly recommend your next tour with Jhayro. We will be reaching out to do future trips with him for sure!

Jhayro is very kind and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time exploring Ecuador and the Galapagos during our 9-day trip. Our time in Baños and exploring the Amazon were some of my favorite movements of the trip. While snorkeling in the Galapagos he ensured our safety with the sea lions and having floatation equipment ready.

Had an amazing 10-day tour of Ecuador this July! Our guide Jhayro was fantastic, and the Amazon portion was a total highlight. The tour gives a great overview of the whole country. Pro-tip: Pack for temperatures ranging from 50 to 90 degrees. Split your luggage into two carry-ons—one for the cooler mainland climate and one with beach gear for the Galápagos. Highly recommend!

I just have to give a huge shoutout to Jhayro, our tour guide! He was absolutely amazing and made sure we all had a safe and fun time throughout the trip. You could really tell he loves what he does and takes so much pride in sharing his beautiful country with us. In Quito, he kept us entertained while we explored the stunning churches and soaked in those jaw-dropping views (seriously, the altitude is no joke!). We indulged in some delicious local fruit gelato and snacked on treats. Jhayro was awesome at reminding us to stay hydrated and slather on the sunblock, which was super helpful. Then we headed to Baños, and wow, what a transformation! It felt like stepping into a whole new world. Everything was so green and vibrant, and I felt completely surrounded by the mountains. We enjoyed tasty sugarcane candy and cheese empanadas, and even found some surprisingly good Italian food! One of the highlights was when Jhayro surprised us with a spontaneous trip into the Amazon rainforest. We visited a small village and enjoyed fish cooked in banana leaves while spotting toucans and parrots. It wasn’t even planned, but it turned out to be my favorite moment of the trip. We got to hike and swim in the Amazon; definitely a bucket list experience! And then, of course, there were the Galápagos Islands! It was everything I had imagined and more. Getting up close (but safely!) with giant tortoises and snorkeling with sea lions was just incredible. Overall, Jhayro made this adventure so memorable with his energy, knowledge, and passion. If you’re thinking about a trip to Ecuador, I can’t recommend him enough! I've been on quite a few solo trips, and he's definitely one of the best guides out there.

Truly a magical trip that I will never forget. From hiking in The Avenue of the Volcanos to snorkeling with sea lions and turtles in the Galapagos you truly will never have a dull moment on this trip. Our tour guide Jhayro was truly the best guide. Went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of and provided many additional activities for us to take part in on the tour. A highlight was going to the Amazon Jungle where we got to hike to a waterfall where we were able to swim cool off from the intense heat of the jungle. If you're thinking about going on this trip I promise you you'll won't regret it.

My time with Jhayro was truly excellent, I couldn’t have asked for a better tour director for our 11 days in Ecuador. He taught me so much throughout the trip, and I loved how he kept things exciting and unpredictable in the best way. Whether it was spontaneously adding a ziplining adventure or taking us to amazing local restaurants, he consistently made the trip feel unique and elevated. Overall, he made my experience unforgettable. I’m so grateful to have had him as our guide and couldn’t have asked for better.

Jhayro was an incredible guide who made our time in Ecuador and the Galapagos so enjoyable and stress free! Not only was he very knowledgeable about the history of Ecuador, he made sure to plan excursions for us to experience the culture with indigenous communities and traditional food. He coordinated all of our activities to fit in the most we could in our time: hikes, extreme sports, swimming at waterfalls, Amazon animal rescue, museums and tours of the cities. He also did an amazing job at pivoting and re-planning when conflicts in the schedule came up. I highly recommend this trip and Jhayro as a guide!
