Thanks to Irene for the great trip around Baños yesterday. Irene was not only warm but funny and the day went smoothly thanks to Irene and our driver. Thanks for the photos and videos too.

This 3d tour is a great idea if you have the time: it saves you a lot of bus-travel time to/fr Quito and offers the experience of local lodging. You are not on this trip with other 3d travelers --- as was our experience, we were the only couple who was doing the 3d adventure; all others each day we only doing the day-trips. This was okay with us, however the actual itinerary didn't always align with the published itinerary, so we often felt like we were in a constant state of 'wonder', as in "I wonder how much time we'll actually have" for any particular itinerary stop. Days 1 & 3 were pretty good. Veronica was our Day 1 guide: she was extraordinarily energetic and full of information about the sites along our drive route. She did the hike up Cotopaxi WITH us and paid attention to everyone making sure no one felt left out or behind. Irene was our Day 3 guide -- she too was great: tons of interesting information and very interested in learning what we had heard or learned about the areas we were visiting with her. She seems to be a natural tour guide --- she has the energy, interest and communication skills to make an excellent guide. She would be an excellent addition to any formal tour group. Day 2 held the most inconsistency/uncertainty for us. For starters, our first stop was (per our itinerary) to be at Tigua; it was actually at someone's home ("Julio" I believe was his name; an 80 year old indigenous man who apparently used to live in the ‘yurt’ we were visiting). The stop was apparently intended to illustrate an original indigenous home not to mention providing a 'donation if we would like'. We were there ~30 mins. I waited outside the hut for the others to finish their experience, when Julio himself came out of the hut and wasn't shy about rubbing his fingers with palms up at me. Not hard to translate that universal gesture ($$). We got to Tigua, spent ~30 mins here then headed to the Lake. We arrived around noon and were told we had the option of walking part-way or full-way down to the lake with strong warnings that the return climb would be difficult. We seemingly also had the choice of walking around the lake along the rim. We told Fernando (our guide) we wanted to do the 'around' walk. We stopped at the restaurant to place our lunch order before our walk and were told we had to be back in 2 hours (our itinerary said we had 4 hours at this stop). However before we could start the walk of our choice, we were told we had to walk down to the first lookout point for a group pic. We were with some slow walkers and at least got Fernando to get to the point at our pace and let the others catch up; this makes you wonder of the purpose of a group pic, but we tried to go along with him. However by the time we were done with this unexpected ‘lookout’ stop, we got back to the rim at 12:45 and only had 1.25 hrs to do our rim walk. There was NO WAY anyone could have completed even the 1/2-way down path with the time left let alone even consider the full descent. Even though we kept telling him, Fernando didn’t seem to understand that our itinerary was different until at lunch we showed him what we received. At that point he seemed to recognize that his energy toward us up to that point was a bit dismissive and started saying how our happiness was the utmost importance and that we are very important to him. At that point we were pretty much ‘done’ with that day out of frustration. After lunch, we found out that we would be part of a car-transfer midway to get us to Banos because the others were returning to Quito. We arrived in Banos ~6:30p; the itinerary said we had 3 hours to enjoy this stop ---- in the dark?? So Day 2 was our greatest disappointment; Days 1 & 3 were good though. Knowing what I know now, would I still do this trip? Absolutely. Only I would confirm the itinerary with the provider when booking the tour to make sure it will follow what is published and that the areas that are of particular interest to me will be available for the published times. Forewarned is forearmed.
We had a great time on the 3 day tour, experiencing what Ecuador's highlights have to offer. A special shoutout to our guide Irene, who was knowledgeable about the history and nature of the area, a fun storyteller and especially caring; not only did she looks after the group when we were battling the Cotopaxi climb, but she undoubtedly went above and beyond caring for my partner when she became unwell
Today was my VERY BEST tour experience in Baños and surroundings thanks to our wonderful, colorful, professional guide IRENE🥰! Keep up the good work and hope to see you again one day!🤗
This is a Great way to Explore the area around Quito with less back and Forth. We had three very nice guides, Alejandro, Diana and Jessy, and all were helpful and Communication. We saw a lot of cool stuff!
3 day/2 night is a great option if you have the time, less time spent travelling and more down time to enjoy Cotapaxi and Banos. Great communication from Grace on WhatsApp and Irene really was a 5 star tour guide, thanks guys!
Let's start with positives: * Tour guides were all great. Friendly, informative, etc. * Sights we ended up seeing were mostly interesting and correct based on the itinerary Negatives: * You will spend A LOT of time on a van/bus. We were the only ones who had booked the 3 day tour. All others were on a daily tour so there was a lot of inefficiency in getting us around to accommodate the other tours on the bus. The second day we were out 10 hours, and 7 of those hours were on a bus. * Itinerary was complete wrong for the 2nd day to Lake Quilotoa. The itinerary showed 8 hours in Banos. We didn't arrive in Banos until around 730 PM thus not able to partake in any of the hot springs, etc in Banos. * Hotel options given were all hostals. If you want to stay somewhere else, you have to pay for your own transportation to get there. We did opt for this in Banos and since we were the only ones actually doing the 3 day tour, the tour company was nice enough to drop and pick us up at a nicer hotel. * After day 2, we were not given any details about the following day like what time would we picked up, etc. I had to reach out several times to get clarification and a revised itinerary. We did ask for a partial refund, especially for the 2nd day that was nowhere close to the itinerary sent and we were declined stating that they went to all of the sights. This company needs to be a lot better about sending a realistic agenda and sticking to it. In the end all we got was one free lunch the last day. I'd say rent a car and do it on your own.
It's a three-day experience visiting Cotopaxi, Quilotoa and Banhos among other places that is perfect if you don't have enough time to do it by yourself. The activity is perfectly coordinated and guided thanks to our excellent official guides Diana, Jennifer, Adrián and their drivers, and also to Grace who will be resolving any question through the app.
First day - Cotopaxi. Our guide Irene was amazing!! She told us so much about the area and was full of jokes and enthusiasm. She spoke excellent English and was interested in all the passengers. She did a great job looking after our diverse-skilled group as we all hiked up the hard way in a windy snowstorm. Second day - Quilotoa. We got picked up at our hotel near Cotopaxi by another tour that had started from Quito. New people, new guide. The tour was as advertised, the weather was good for viewing the crater, and riding the top of the double decker bus was fun. Epic views!! Third day - Baños. Fernando did a great job taking photos of our group and individuals at all the stops. The extra adventure options are reasonably priced and fun. All in all a great tour, we saw lots of things and the transportation was easy.
It was an amazing experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and easy going. I’d recommend this tour to anyone.
AMAZING value! I highly recommend this. A few things to note- this is sort of a hop-on, hop-off tour, so I did end up with a new great each of the 3 days of the tour (most people elected to do each as a day trip from Quito). I really liked this because I got to meet so many new people! I also thought it made sense to do it all in one go instead of going back and forth to Quito. It was no problem to leave my suitcase on the bus as we did the tours. I do highly recommend bringing some granola bars and lots of water because the lunches were a bit later in the day. The hikes were amazing!! I did not know what to expect but for Cotopaxi you hike up to the base camp in a short but steep hike at a high altitude. The Coco Leaf Tea really helped with the altitude! The Quilotoa hike had three options- down to the water, around a bit of the flat hike on top or just hanging out in town and enjoying the views. I joined a few ladies on my trip for the hike down to the water which was incredible but INTENSE! A very steep climb up but totally worth it. The last day was the easiest in terms of hiking and probably the most beautiful- Banos is amazing. I highly recommend using your free time either in the evening you arrive or early in the AM before you leave to check out the thermal springs and the town. Honestly, I felt like I had a week or more of adventures packed into my 3 days and I loved it! Such a great way to see a lot in Ecuador. The tour guides were all amazing too (I had Misael, Jessica and Adrian and they were all SO friendly, knowledgeable, entertaining and helpful) and the transport was comfy (very steep and windy mountain drives so caution if you get car sick) but I was able to nap in the vans/ buses. Bring lots of layers and waterproof clothes and enjoy!
Our guide Irene was fantastic and had a great sense of humour. She gave us all the information we needed for each location and really cared for those in the group who had difficulty with the Cotopaxi hike. It should be noted that Irene was only our guide for the first day of our 3 day tour.
This 3-day tour was absolutely incredible! From Cotopaxi Volcano to Quilotoa Crater and Baños, every stop was breathtaking. The guides were fantastic—super knowledgeable, helpful, and great at sharing the history, culture, and even the local language. Quilotoa was especially stunning, and the Highlands had this vast, rugged beauty that’s hard to put into words. The food was amazing, and getting to stay outside Quito gave me a chance to experience the charm of smaller towns. If you want to truly explore beyond the city, I highly recommend this tour!
3 day tour to Andes was exeptional very well organised and we saw diverse places and done different activities during those 3 days. I would highly recommend this tour. Before tour communication with Grace was excellent. She gave all necessary information. On our first 2 days our guide was IRENE. She was outstanding, enthusiastic, passionate about Ecuador and shared a lot of interesting information with us. She always took care of each and everyone of us during the tour to make sure we are always ok. Thank you IRENE for making our 2 days unforgettable you are true gem to this company. On our 3rd day our guide was Sebastian. He was amazing not many tour guides are like him. He took his time and didnt rush us in any activities. He had a lot of information about places we visited. Sebastian took amazing pictures to capture our moments and shared photos with us for everlasting memories. He even went out of his way to ask restaurant to peel tomato fruit for us to try or to stop at fruit, candy vendors or nice viewpoints. Thank you Sebastian for making our day so special with you

Through Baños we roamed with joy in our stride, Irene, so lovely, our energetic guide. She showed us wonders, told stories with care, And captured each moment beyond compare. Maurizio, our driver, steady and true, Guided us safely with every view. We highly recommend this fantastic pair, For a journey of magic beyond compare!
This was a fabulous 3 days! Really well organised, very knowledgeable and passionate guides (Adrian and Alesandro). They really looked after us and shared their history and culture so well.
The tour was great. We enjoyed every day. Our guides Alejandro, Carlos and Andrea made it perfect. The communication was so easy and everything went well.
The whole tour was an amazing experience thanks to our very funny and motivating tourguide Irene! It was perfectly organized, very easy to communicate per WhatsApp, and she also took fantastic pictures which she sent us all afterwards! She knows everything about the culture and life in Ecuador, so that you really experience the real Ecuador and learn so much about people, life, nature and history here! Would have never been the same experience without Irene, telling all those things to understand life here in this amazing country! Also John as our driver made these days very stressless and enjoyable. Perfect Tour to see the most beautiful parts of Ecuador, learn about the background and still being on an individual trip.
The places we went were amazing, our trip guide Irene was amazing and nice. Overall, I enjoy doing different activities like going to see waterfalls and etc. I also liked our driver Eric for stopping by for some of us to use the bathroom. Also, for driving us safely 3 hours to our hotel room. Eric and Irene were very polite and welcoming.
This trip was a fantastic way to get an overview of the Ecuador highlands in a short amount of time. Each day was excellent and different from the next, taking in varied landscapes, either on short walks or from the bus. I had two guides across the three days - Josué and Carlos - both of whom were really attentive to the group and did a great job of making each day feel special and sharing lots of interesting and relevant information. Highly recommend this trip!
Everything about this was great! Was the perfect way to see all the highlights. Carlos who took us to Banos was the best! So funny and made the whole experience even better and so memorable. Highly recommend!
4 stars for a very specific reason: transport on the second day. The positives: The guides we had were exceptional. On our Cotopaxi trip, we had Alejandro. He had an incredible amount of knowledge about Ecuador and it's amazing volcanic landscape. My wife and I really enjoyed chatting to him about everyday life, politics, films etc He was such an approachable guy and we really enjoyed our trip with him. The second day, we had Camilla who took us to Quilatoa. She was very informative, with great knowledge. Her English was absolutely amazing and I was amazed by how quickly and efficiently she switched between Spanish and English. Our third guide on our trip to Banos was Ernesto. Ernesto is a special man, who clearly has a real zest for life. He is a really special guide and we were privileged to have the day with him in Banos. This 3 day trip is great, because it offers a range of different landscapes and activities. Cotopaxi, we saw the national park including lots of the wildlife and then trekked up and down from the base camp. Quilatoa was beautiful but beware, the walk is incredibly difficult on the way back up. In my opinion, it's inhumane to use the mules to take you back up. Banos has a lot of different activities that you can do...and we did them all! Ziplining, swing of the edge of the world, extreme swing, pachamama and waterfalls. It's an amazing city. The negative which took it down to 4 stars: On day two, the bus that transported us to and from Quilatoa had faulty air circulation. I'm sure most of the time this isn't a problem, but the day we went, it was pouring with rain all afternoon. Heavy heavy rain! We were all soaking wet, the bus was steamy but also freezing cold. The driver was wiping his windscreen with a tissue. This shouldn't happen on a trip and could have been dangerous. Please make sure the vehicles used can handle different weather conditions. Apart from that, it really was a fantastic tour and I would encourage anyone reading this review to book it and stay at Chuquiragua Lodge in El Chaupi and Hotel Di Mi Pueblo in Banos.
One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Thanks to our fabulous tour guide Irene and Jesy, the driver as well Mauricio and Andres. They give 5 stars services. My trip in Ecuador was wonderful and unforgettable
The tour was amazing and well organized. My tour guide, Irene is the best, she is communicative and explained all of the things. I give 5 stars for my guide Irene and the driver Mauricio
If you're short on time, definitely recommend this 3 days 2 nights tour with Quito Bus Tour. Please make sure though that you have at least a couple of days to acclimatise to the high altitude at Quito. Note that this tour does not include accommodation but Quito Bus Tour would recommend which hotels to stay in for those 2 nights. We took their advice and the accommodation recommended were all very clean, nicely presented and well priced. The tour works in such a way that every day, we had different people on board and a different tour guide each day. The different days are runned as a day tour as well, hence the different mix of people on the bus/van. So, if you wish to depart/return from/to Quito everyday, you certainly can, but we would suggest that you take up the recommendation at staying at the different points of the tour. By doing so, you won't need to spend as much time on the bus/van by leaving early in the morning from Quito and getting back late to Quito. As we were picked up along the way, we had the chance to sleep in and have a relaxing breakfast before we started the day. The same goes for the end of day, where we were dropped off first, which gives us time to ease into the night and be prepared for the next day. All the tour guides we had were amazing, passionate and full of knowledge of their country. Andrea (Day 1), Adrian (Day 2) and Irene (Day 3) were our awesome tour guides. Day 1 - Cotopaxi - will have to be the most physical day as we didn't get much time to acclimatise to the high altitude. 2 of us did not make the whole hike to base camp due to altitude sickness but 2 of us did - Yay! The hike will take about 1 hour going at a slow and steady pace. Views on the way up were spectacular. Dress up as it can get very cold, gloves, waterproof jacket and even a beanie is a good idea. It started raining while we were hiking and there were thunderstorms. An incredible experience. Day 2 - Quilotoa - A much more relaxing day whereby you trek down to the lake but have to hike up. If you don't have the strength to hike up, there are horses that you can hire to take you back up. Wasn't expensive - sorry can't remember exact cost ~USD1-3.. Alternatively, stay up and enjoy the restaurants and a quiet walk about the town buying souvenirs. Oh, we also stopped by a local farmer's place where they rear guinea pigs and taught us about the local produce. Day 3 - Banos - What a great way to finish the trip. Much more than what we expected and an exciting day especially for our teenagers to finish travelling around Ecuador. We've been to many waterfalls but this one, knocks many out of the park. A totally relaxing, amusing, entertaining day with our energetic tour guide, Irene. Communication from start to finish (via WhatsApp) was fantastic with the Quito Bus Tour. As we were travelling from Australia and with limited days on mainland Ecuador, we couldn't afford any spare time to organise trips when we arrived. This was all done prior to our arrival. Again, the staff at Quito Bus Tour were organised and even asked us to confirm pick up points a couple of times prior to our arrival. We were only going to visit Galapagos Islands and then return to Australia but we are extremely glad that we had a few days on the mainland. Our experience on the mainland was as good as the experience we had on the Galapagos, all very unique and wonderful in its own rights. Our only regret was not having more days to visit the other amazing sites. A trip of a lifetime..... thank you Ecuador.... with well wishes and fond memories from us in Australia.
Irene was our tour guide during our visit to Cotopaxi. She’s full of energy and excitement and bubbly. But what really set off her passion and job was when she waited with the tour participants along a very busy highway a Bus heading to Cuenca. Cotipaxi is amazing, hike is a little challenge for me but with a little motivation and push to myself. I got to the top We didn’t complete the 3DAY. This review is for Cotopaxi only
I recently had an incredible experience on the 3 day Andes adventure tour with our tour guide Adrian and driver Jimmy. Adrian's fun and laid back demeanor along with his knowledge of the local area, and insights into customs and traditions made this tour both fun and informative. Adrian provided expert guidance for the hard hike up Cotopaxi and made sure everyone in the group remained safe and together. He answered all of our questions about Ecuador's landscape and history, and even went out of his way to ensure we got safely back to our hotel which was a bit off the beaten path. He made our day in Banos so fun and made sure we got to do tons of activities like taking a cable car through a waterfall, gong to the swing at the end of the world which he provided us some extra local history that most tourists don't get, and even made sure to add extra activities to our itinerary he knew our group would enjoy like the hot springs, and ziplining through the jungle and a local fruit tasting he created just for us. Jimmy's skillful navigation through the mountainous terrain ensured a safe and comfortable ride. This tour was really great because we got to pack in all the top sights and things to do in the short amount of time that we had and it was made easy with the transportation all included, and fun that our group became a little family for 3 days. I highly recommend this tour for anyone travelling to Ecuador on a limited amount of time.
Had a great experience with Irene from Quito Bus Tours. She was very knowledgeable and you could tell she was passionate about her job. Because of her I am more curious about Ecuador’s 84 volcanoes. I came in expecting nothing and got a whole lot more knowledge and appreciation for Ecuador.
This tour was amazing!!! We took the full 3 day version. Our daughter is 20 years old and the three of us loved it and want to visit Ecuador again. Adrian was the perfect Tour Guide and took every chance to assist , guide, and coordinate so the experience was smooth and fun for everyone in the group. He made us feel like a family for 3 days . Jimmy was reliable taking us through the beautiful winding roads of the Andes. They both went the extra mile 😎. The activities were adventurous in every sense. From climbing a part of Cotopaxi, to visiting authentic indigenous communities, to hiking and swinging (the End of the World Swing), it was awesome! If you have that sense of adventure in you, you’ll love every minute. Be ready to hike in very high altitude. Consider acclimatising a few days in Quito first if you live at sea level. We are vivid hikers and it was instrumental to listen to Adrian who advised us about the pace so we could enjoy it all.
The tour was well organized. It is worth noting you will get a new group of people and new tour guide each day. All were fantastic and were enjoyable to hang out with and learn from.
We had an awesome guide in Josue. He was very knowledgeable about the area and did all the experiences with us. Cotopaxi hike to the first refuges was amazing. Quilotoa is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. And Banos was fun. Company was great to work with when our flight was delayed. Definitely recommend (and ask for Josue).
This was a great way to experience three different regions without returning to Quito every night. The guides were wonderful and communication around all the transfers was good!
We did the 3-day, 2-night Banos Bus Tour. We had an amazing time! We hiked up Mt Cotapaxi, down to Quilotoa lake, visited an Andean family and the Banos hot springs and other attractions in Banos and had delicious cuisine. The tour guides (Gorgsway (sp?) and Josue Quijano) both did a great job and are outstanding communicators. I love Ecuador and can't wait to return! I highly recommend Quito Tour Bus.
This 3-day trip provided an accelerated opportunity to view 3 different major destinations into a limited time frame. It is comprised of what are 3 separate day trips from Quito, so a different group of travelers each day and destination, combined with a drop off for anyone overnighting nearby on the two nights such as us, at whatever accommodation you have selected (that’s up to you to book). It’s a bit of a coordination juggling for the travel group but they go out of their way to ensure you get to your lodging and always with a smile on their face! It also eliminated the back and forth for us to Quito and allowed a little more time to experience a new location . The guides we had were excellent: Joshue for day 1 to Cotopaxi and Jessie for both day 2 &3 (Quilatoa & Banos). We were thrilled to have Jessie a 2nd day as she is such a fun and knowledgeable guide. We thoroughly enjoyed this whirlwind trip and if you are pressed for time do highly recommend it!
i had a great time during this 3-day-long trip. Everything was very well organized, the staff was really helpful, nice and professional. Worth it, do it! :)
To put it simply, this adventurous loop is absolutely fantastic. Not only is the company excellent, but each of their guides brings a unique flair and has an amazing level of understanding and willingness to share, not just about the things in front of you, but about the broader context. They truly care not only about your experience, but about the country and the people (and animals) in it. Cotopaxi. Absolutely astonishing to have done. Not only are the views (weather permitting) absolutely breathtaking throughout, but the sense of satisfaction upon reaching the camp is amazing. It is a harder hike than you think. Take your time, listen to your body, and drink the coca tea - bring leaves to chew on and stick up in your gums. We had a group of 7 (plus the guide), one almost turned back partway (I gave him some leaves and he made it) and another got sick at the top (but was otherwise fine). Carlos was our guide and he was stupendous. He was funny, knowledgeable, honest, and - when folks were struggling, was a great coach and encourager. We were so lucky to get him for this day in particular. I almost forgot... feeding the animals carrots at the restaurant after a day of hiking is truly a special joy. We stayed at Chuquiragua Lodge in El Chaupi overnight. Rooms are inexpensive, but are basic accommodations, and the dinner was fairly expensive. But, absolutely gorgeous views in the morning and cute cows. Great place to relax in the quiet after a long day. Quilotoa. We had 8 or 9 folks in our group this day. An example of this company being excellent is that they tell you the truth about the horses/mules - don't ride them - they are abused. It is a harder hike than Cotopaxi if you go all the way down and then back up, so assess your situation and plan accordingly. The best views are from the top anyways! Stopping to see Julian and in Tigua at the gallery was a great mini-cultural tour. Julian is a Quichua man who has lived in the same rural hour for 50 years - he is clearly very proud and excited to share about his life with visitors. I feel very lucky to have met him. Long ride to Baños - we stayed at Hotel Donde Ivan. Baños has a TON of good food and a great night life - since we didn't have to go all the way to Quito and back for the next day we were able to enjoy it. Hotel Donde Ivan is a good value - the breakfast is great - the rooms are basic, but the price is right. Baños day - we had Alejandro. Maybe it's that it was just my one person, my friend, and I, but Alejandro was our absolute favorite guide. Willing to chat about anything, adapted on the fly when we didn't want to go ziplining and wanted to do a hike instead - knowledgeable, patient, not impositional - just fantastic. The "swing" is a bit touristy, but you can't help but feel a little bit of childlike glee while doing it. The candy factory is a fun mini-tour and honestly a great place to get treats to bring back home. The waterfalls though. Pictures can't capture the majesty. You can hypothetically book each of these as separate tours, returning to Quito each day. Most people do that. Let me tell you that they are FOOLS. This is ABSOLUTELY the way to go. Less time travelling, more time relaxing, sleeping, and enjoying yourself. It is a jam-packed three days but you will have a fantastic time and really get a feel for what the highlands are like. This set of tours has turned me into a brand evangelist for Ecuador - if you're thinking about it, just do it. You wont' regret it.
First day was amazing. Mauricio (Driver) and Adrian (Guide) took good care of us even we were only 2 English-speakers in a group of 17. Climb to Cotopaxi was quite demanding, but we managed to reach our destination. Make sure to bring a passport if you want a stamp! After that we went for a delicious lunch, and finally reached cosy hotel with beautiful garden and view to Cotopaxi. Second and third days were even better. On our way to Quilotoa with new guide Josué and driver Alberto we visited locals, learned about food, culture and history. Chewing Coca leaves on the way down to crater lake we were mesmerized by the view. After the kayaking and a joyous climb up, we tasted local specialty - Guinea pig. Day was crowned within hot spring baths in Baños. Third day was dedicated to waterfalls and adventures. We started the day on a swing in the front of the Volcano followed by 2 km track of zip-lining through the jungles. Stunning waterfalls and nature, delicious fruits and food. All of the activities were supplemented by interesting stories and history. With Josué, we felt like with a friend on a wonderful trip. We’d be glad to join him in future adventures. Note that not all of the experiences are included in the price. On the other hand prices are not high in general. We recommend buying Coca leaves in advance to help with altitude sickness. All our questions about the trip were answered by the support so we started the trip with calm hearts.
Love the entire 3 days of the excursion. The sightseeing was not only naturally phenomenal but made extra special with the tour guides, Adrian and Vero, explaining the history behind all locations. They kept us very active the entire three days with every activity like ziplining and hiking were fun and worth every minute. I would recommend to take extra clothes and go fully prepared for the walking and hiking since the weather can change at any minute but nothing that one can’t bare. To add, I had the tour guides and drivers, especially Adrian and Jimmy, go the above and beyond to retrieve my wedding guest dress I accidentally forgot in a tour van the first day. On Day 3 they made extra calls to arrange pickup and drove an extra 30 minutes just for me to get the dress before flying out to another city in Ecuador two hours before the flight. Please don’t hesitate to book your tour especially if you can request your tour guides and drivers. 100% recommend this adventure.
This tour is definitely good value for money. The tour guides have an extensive knowledge of Ecuador and they’re very happy to share it. Ecudaor has so many beautiful places this tour you will get to see a lot of them! You get to do a lot in a few days. Ernesto was so friendly and showed us so much about the culture. Aljandro also is a great tour guide! This tour is definitely something you should do at least once in your life.
Great tour to see the top sights outside of Quito in the beautiful picturesque country of Ecuador. We started the tour on day one by hiking to the Cotopaxi refuge, before heading to Quilotoa Lake and Banos on day 2 and 3. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We're especially grateful to our tour guide Carlos who spent two days taking us around the all the key sights and sounds, and was very flexible to accommodate our requests as we were the only two guests on the tour at the time. Highly recommend this 3 day tour if you want to see all the key highlights over a short space of time.
This tour is a must do!! Our first day we had Irene as our guide for a day at Cotopaxi and she took such great care of us! The hike to the base camp was challenging but she was there to help everyone in the group the whole way! We then stayed the night outside of Cotopaxi at La Quinta La Coroda and it was a lovely ranch with great hospitality & food! The 2nd and 3rd day we had Carlos as our guide and he went above and beyond to provide the best 2 days of travel for us. On the way to Quilatoa we stopped at a parade and experienced the culture of small village. Quilatoa was absolutely gorgeous! Carlos then got us to Baños in time to experience the night life and give us great recommendations. Day 3 he took us around Baños to see waterfalls, ziplining, scenic overlooks and ended at an amazing lunch at an artsy hotel. We could not have asked for a better tour and would highly recommend!!
My wife and I had the most amazing experience booking this tour. David, Grace and rest of their team were amazing hosts and very knowledgeable guides. Even the places we stayed were very helpful. I got sick in day 2, I called David and he arranged a personal car for me to go straight to Banos so I can rest in the hotel for the next destination rather than go site seeing for the day. I recommend this tour to everyone looking to experience everything that Ecuador has to offer.
Day 1 was with a larger group, climbing the volcano in Cotopaxi. Danni was a great guide, super friendly and helpful. The night in the hotel in a lodge was ok, very basic and a little cold. But for one night, it’s fine. Days 2 and 3 were a private tour, with your own guide. Ernesto was amazing - very friendly, knowledgeable, patient and kind. Day 2 was quilotoa lake, which was stunning. You stay the night in a hotel in banos. This hotel was better than the 1st night, although still basic. Day 3 was an action packed day in banos. I would highly recommend this tour and the guides, danni and Ernesto - they were amazing
This was an amazing three day tour. It was my first solo trip and I was a little nervous, but I met lots of cool people and made friends easily. The guides Jessi and Carlos were great and made sure everyone was happy and safe. This tour has some pretty intense hiking and is best for active people, but if you couldn’t finish the hikes the guides were very understanding. They really cater the trip to your needs. I was a little worried about the accommodation, but it was very nice. Breakfast was included in the price and there were stops for the other meals. I would recommend bringing snacks because sometimes you eat lunch very late.
This trip is fantastic for those who want to see the highlights of Ecuador and have limited time. Our guide, Ernesto was very knowledgeable and passionate about his country and the beautiful nature it has to offer. The highlight of the trip was Banos! There is so much to see and do especially for those seeking adventure and an adrenaline rush. We wished we could have stayed a couple more days. The accomodation was very comfortable.
BOOK THIS TOUR NOW!!!!!This tour was perfect for me . The days are packed but they have everything you want and need. The first day I was with Veronica . She was awesome ,patient and provided motivation during the hike. The second and third day I was with Carlos and he was AMAZING . He provided so much information about Ecuador that I would have never found in a book or online. It was very special. I have traveled to 32 countries and been on several tours and this was the best I have ever been on . Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
We highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide, Irene, was so friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. Each of the three places were unique and beautiful, and Irene helped us feel safe and welcome. We enjoyed meeting people who live near Quilotoa, eating the local ice cream, viewing the waterfalls in Banos, and Cotopaxi was stunning!! Ivan was our driver and he navigated the windy roads so well and was so kind. Thank you for the incredible experience!
Carlos was our guide, and we couldn't have asked for one better! We learned an incredible amount of information and did so many fun activities. Carlos remained flexible with us to accommodate us as much as possible.
This trip was amazing! We loved all three places, and especially enjoyed the adventure park and the waterfalls in Baños. It was a fantastic experience, the hotels were clean and well maintained. Our guide Irene was especially wonderful and very knowledgeable, we really enjoyed learning about Ecuadorian culture from her.
