Wyndham Quito Airport

Absolutely outstanding experience. The chef went above and beyond to accommodate our vegan dietary needs and carefully prepared special dishes to address my son’s multiple food allergies. The food itself was phenomenal—truly among the best we had on our trip. This level of care is rare—and deeply appreciated. A big shout out to Karla- Karla and her team were really the best and went out of their way to help us. Exceptional service, exceptional food, and genuine attention to detail. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Muchas Gracias!

Wonderful place to stay especially after coming from the Galapagos I added an extra day. It was not sorry. Food was wonderful hot tub sauna steam room. People are super friendly. I highly recommend adding this on instead of directly flying back home to US.

The good: The staff is super helpful. It's very close to the airport and has shuttle service. Your room also includes a buffet breakfast that is ok. The rooms are bare bones, however. They do have super good blackout drapes and they are noise proof. But, they are lacking in many areas. No water in the room, although they leave you a carafe to go to the location by the elevators to refill, which is no problem if you're close to the location. I was not. Would have been nice if they had filled up the carafe to have it ready for my 1am arrival. Their commitment to no plastic bottles is great, but it would be nice to not inconvenience the travelers whose rooms are quite a distance from the water refill spot. There are no face clothes for washing. And, the provided soaps/lotions/conditioners super aggravated my sinus infection. The whole hotel has very strong perfume smells that had me wheezing and hacking the whole stay. Luckily, the sheets on the bed were scent free. I never could figure out how to get the air conditioner to stay on for more than an hour. So, I was much too warm to sleep well and the super heavy, restricting comforter didn't help much. My bed also had a worn spot that my body migrated too all night, so I was sleeping in a hole and my spine was out of whack the next morning. Water pressure in the rain shower was awful and the control nobs are on the same wall as the shower head, so no way to avoid getting sprayed by cold water before you are ready to enter the shower. The other major brand hotels close to the airport have this figured out with the Courtyard being the best of these with one of the best showers I've had bare none.

I had an excellent stay at the Wyndham Hotel last night. Everything was outstanding from the moment I arrived. The staff kindly gave me a complimentary room upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise, and they also helped me print some important documents I needed, without any extra charge. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the welcome details were very thoughtful. They even offered me a complimentary drink and a special welcome appetizer, which made the experience even better. Overall, everything was wonderful. I truly appreciated the hospitality, attention to detail, and professionalism of the entire team. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.
