Rincon De Puembo

We only stayed one night because we needed to be close to the airport. It is about a 25 minute drive from Mariscal. The service was impeccable. The rooms were big and clean and the bed was comfortable. The grounds have beautiful plants and the bar is fun to watch World Cup games. The gym was small and the hairdryer did not work in the bathroom. Overall great!

The grounds to this hotel are spectacularly beautiful. Food was good and room were also good. Pity we had a short one night stay as we had an early (6am) flight but could see the charm and potential of this hotel. About 20-25 minutes from the Quito Airport and quite away out from the center of town (tourist areas and old town Quito)

The hotel has transportation to the hotel, but somehow we didn't find or they didn't show at the planned time. It's not a big airport and we waited an hour at the "hotel shuttle" parking area at our designated time, but no hotel shuttle. We ended up taking a $20 taxi to the hotel. Transportation to the airport in the morning was fine. Breakfast is included but we left too early for that. They were nice to give us a boxed breakfast to go- apple, juice, muffin and fruit bar. The location is very a bit far from the airport and in an undesirable area. Not safe to walk around. A security guard at the door entrance. This place feels like a small villa and looks fantastic once you enter the main doorway. The rooms modest and not sure if a/c was available. We had rooms in the back where the trash truck was way too loud at 3am. The staff was very friendly and spoke English very well.

The meticulously landscaped gardens are breathtakingly beautiful and contribute significantly to this calming ambiance as did the local variety of birds. Guests are afforded access to an array of premium relaxation facilities, including a luxurious jacuzzi, a rejuvenating sauna, a soothing steam room, and a wonderfully heated outdoor swimming pool. The culinary offerings were equally impressive. The hotel features an Elegant Eatery, a refined culinary space providing a sophisticated dining experience, alongside a more casual grill situated conveniently by the outdoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast selection was extensive, delicious, and represented exceptional value. Beyond these comforts, the hotel provides a well-equipped gym, Turkish baths, ample parking, engaging activities for children, karaoke facilities, and various sports fields, ensuring a diverse range of entertainment options for all guests. The no cost timely and efficient airport transfer service further streamlined our visit, adding to the overall convenience.
