We had a wonderful stay at Illa Experience Hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a great selection that included traditional local dishes.
The only drawback was the location. Although the hotel is close to the historic center, the surrounding area felt quiet and deserted, with most nearby businesses closed, making it less convenient than expected.
Overall, we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend the hotel!
We received the best part of our trip through our meal experience at INES restaurant which resides inside ILLA. Every dish presented a lasting impression because of its farm-to-table approach and innovative flavor combinations. The hotel rooms and the city view together formed an excellent city vacation experience.

Very comfortable hotel in a great location in the Old Town of Quito. It was a short safe walk to the main square. The hotel itself is calming and comfortable with attentive staff. We had a suite on the first floor which was well appointed and spacious. The room faces onto the road so there was a bit of noise but not too bad. Unfortunately for our second night there was an American family staying in all the other rooms on the floor. Unfortunately they had little respect for other guests and made a lot of noise. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked to order. Highly recommended.
Room was beautiful although no air con and matched the rest of the hotel in terms of next level interior design. Location was great (brilliant rooftop views) but the stand out aspect for us was the fantastic service! Steffi, Sarah and Jaimie went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. Thank you.
The Illa Experience Hotel was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. The hotel building is an architect’s dream, with interesting features throughout. Our suite was very large, well designed, and nicely furnished. The restaurants are charming and the menu inventive and delicious. The street is full of lovely coffee shops and restaurants. What a delightful place!
