Supercar Fast Dash - Highlands Motorsport And Tourism Park

My husband did this experience as the weather and track conditions prevented him from doing the Radical U-drive experience I bought as a birthday gift. We decided to rebook in February '26 when rain is less likely. The experience took his breath away. So glad he got to experience such a rush - to make up for the cancellation.

Absolutely awesome, we had a Lamborghini and Mustang ride, then a drive of the Radical, fantastic morning with the family, thanks Highlands Motorsports for the memories.

Absolutely awesome experience doing a hot lap in the Lambo! The kids loved it! Definitely worth the trip out!! Our driver Paul was great!

Wow!!! I didn’t decide until I got there to do this and am so glad I did. After leaving my stomach at the start line, it was one of the best two minutes or so adventures I have done. I have a huge respect for those Super Car drivers. I love museums and visit plenty especially when overseas … this one is great especially as many of the names are household names we grew up knowing. Highlands Motorsport should be on your ‘to do’ list … it has something for everyone!

What a great day we've had. We chose the go Karting which was a blast and able to be done even with a dicky knee. hubby did the fast Ferrari ride. What an adrenaline rush. Then a game of mini golf to round it off. Quirky displays along the way.and the museum was worth a look just to drawl over the fancy cars.

Flynn (check in) and Paul (Pro Driver) made me feel very comfortable. The Porsche fast dash was a fantastic way to start my morning, so many feel good endorphins

We saw the promotion and purchased a one-lap Supercar Fast Dash for $199 and a second person to experience the same product for $99. It was an exhilarating and memorable ride! We also got to record the session on our mobile devices with the aid of a mounted stand in the Ferrari. We also visited the museum and my husband was completely engaged in this experience.

THE FAST DASH WAS FUN, MAYBE BEING HARNESSED IN would have been more fun, as we reached a top speed of 220kph, and I was throwen around unexpectably, Another must to visit down that way is Bill Richardson's Transport World, you can spend 5 hours plus there , just so much to see, with a Cafe that serves nice food.

Great super fast lap around the track, the speed on the straights was very exciting and on the corners terrifying! Thanks Damon for a great ride in a beautiful Ferrari. Also loved the loos with a view, especially the royal suite with red velvet chaise longue and chandelier and window onto the track - best loos ever!

A must do and see while on the region. Highly recommended. Plenty for everyone to do and see. Museum / car display spectacular along with the loos with a view.

Went out today for the hot lap in the Ferrari, and what a hot lap. Breanne was amazing taking me and my wife for a lap each, which were the best Xmas gifts ever. So then we treated ourselves to the Porsche electric launch experience. Damon got us from 0 to 100km in 2.4 sec. The rest of the staff were amazing from check in to the cafe. Some might say it's expensive but you don't have to fuel it, insure it,or service it , so good value all round.

Awesome is all I can say. An amazing experience from start to finish. Recommend this to everyone. Would so do this again

Exhilarating experience in the Ferrari 488. Hold on to your seats! Recommended for a memorable experience of acceleration, grip and braking power.

My husband and I loved our two laps for the Super car Fast Dash, we would recommend adding on the extra lap, as it goes so quickly. Recommend having your phone to record, and capturing the facials. Staff were friendly and super helpful.

Great fun with pro-driver. Only negative thing is too short! I wish it was more longer ride! You can feel the engine and speed! What a great experience.

Just got back to our apartment and im still smiling. Spent most of the day at Highlands and absolutely loved it. From Heather on the front desk to James who piloted the ferrari for our fast dash hot lap we had an awesome day. The go karts were fatastic, the food at the cafe delicious, the museum is amazing and finished our day with a visit to the loos with a view. A must do for anyones bucket list if you remotely near Cromwell.

Still buzzing about the fast lap with Steve, one of the drivers ,who is very calm and competent!! Wow. I'm not the youngest mechanic in the work shop but I'm the happiest!! The rumble of the Ferrai is one thing but the fact your at 225km's at the first corner is quite something. The track goes off amongst the trees but not for long as your back being handed over to a waiting family member with a smile so wide it's hard to remove the helmet. The only down side is it is quick and over before you know it. Don't wait to put this on a bucket list get to Highlands tomorrow! Yes it helps to like cars, electric and petrol but the team at highlands treat everyone to a fantastic experience. From the well laid out museum to the Virtual Reality race around the track. There's good food and coffee and fabulous loos to boot - with a view!! I will be back.

I throughly enjoyed my laps around the track. I took 1 lap in the Ferrari 488 and 1 in the Porsche GT3. Both were really fun and completely different rides. The Ferrari is loud, fast and throws you back, but the Porsche just sticks to the track like glue. The check-in staff was friendly and accommodating and the drivers were informative. I highly recommended this to any auto buff.

Wow. So exciting. I pulled into a park and could see a new Ferrari 488 GTB (I got told what it was). I booked a super car fast dash and while I was being looked after by the friendliest young lady I decided to do 2 laps and that wasn’t a problem. It had started spitting rain so she quickly got me ready and it was all go. Tom was my driver and her was lovely and friendly too I felt safe as. He mounted my phone, I chose to record the track. He asked me if I was ready and I said yes and off we went. I talked way too much. It was the best thing ever, the highlight of my holiday. I was high on adrenaline for ages after the laps. I had a good look around the amazing museum, the cars and trucks are superb. There is a room with videos and pictures of famous people in the racing industry speaking of their experiences and there are simulation seats and headsets where you can select a driver to talk you around the track. The cafe was also wonderful and their staff were as friendly. The go cart area, I never made it there but you can see it from the main building and it looks as choice there were children playing on the flying fox. Oh, loo with a view, magic, I went into just the one and it was really posh, you could watch the races from there. I am definitely going there again, and again…

What an adrenaline rush. Husband did the go carts, we then did the Talycon dash. G-forces engaged. Then the fast lap with a driver. OMG!!! Amazing, thrilling!! Then we had lunch here (yummy), checked out the loo with a view, wandered round car museum, then back to our hotel. Amazing way to spend 3 hours. Everyone so friendly!!

It was so good very professional and very friendly staff a very worth its place to go and the lap was awesome I will do it again when I am next down

It was amazing to see the different cars, the immersive racing sections, peddling power race with my son, and ability to drive or ride fast cars. 🤩🤩

I had heard of the fast dash in a supercar at highland park and booked in a retirement gift today. The anticipation was also magnified by the 10 lap go kart experience immediately before. I thought I was fast but lapped by 3 guys on a stag do!! Steve got me into the Ferrari with hair net and helmet. Explained what we were going to do and bang we were off. Fantastic acceleration and grip, videoed the lap and Steve was not only a superb driver but happy to converse along the way!!! Great experience which summed up the whole experience at highland park. Fantastic, professional and super friendly. I will be back!!

My husband was given a voucher to do super lap plus 1 extra lap which he throughly enjoyed. Great idea to be able to put your own phone in holder to video the ride, he had a blast, the driver was great and so were the girls inside at counter, would highly recommend

Need for speed? Highlands Motorsport Park is great fun for all the family. Plenty to see and do here. The Tucan is a must do. No long waits. Customer service is outstanding.

Super fast take off ride was awesome! Very short trip but enjoyed every second. We didn’t do the museum because of the cost, would have been great to go in for free if buying a ride in the cars. Good viewing from the front of the cafe for those not riding.

My wife booked me a ride in the Ferrari, at first I was a bit fearful of not being in control of the car. Once I put the helmet on and got into the passenger seat, My mind was put at ease by the professional driver. He was very understanding of my concerns, very mature and one hell of a driver. Turns out, I loved the experience. That car is a weapon. A really cool track too. Awesome facility with many other attractions and activities besides the fast lap. Highly recommend.

Was a great ride in the Ferrari with a good driver who chatted all the way . The go cart were a blast too.

WOW - just WOW. We actually did two different rides, first the TAXI (don't be fooled by the name) where both of us sat in the Mustang and took two laps (with a driver - definitely not a self-drive experience!) who does one lap slow and tells you about the place, then one at speed (180km)...and I thought that couldn't get much better. Then it did - the lap in the Ferrari at about 220km - and a week later I'm still buzzing. If you do either of these and don't have the biggest smile on your face, check you still have a pulse! $300 gone in 15 minutes, and we'd do it again in a heart beat. YOLO, this was just so much fun.

The staff were incredibly. Rung early as the weather was turning and would we come early so we didn’t miss out. Happy friendly, polite, bubbly. We thoroughly enjoyed our “ Fast Dash” car driving. We had a great time exploring the toilets with a view. Good laugh. Fantastic people skills.

The acceleration of this Ferrari is sublime. Great way to experience what a racing driver does. Did two laps I will never forget. Well worth the money.

The Heart-raising Experience, adrenaline rush, the cute driver beside me hahahaha It could have been a really good experience if the driver was told clearly that I got 2 laps not 1 so we don’t have to stop and do the other lap separately. But anyhow, the whole experience is awesome and I enjoyed it so much. Definitely, it is on my Do-It-Again List.

Fantastically friendly staff, who went out of their way to give us an awesome day, and the experience of a lifetime. Even the museum is world class, and not to forget the toilet experience. A must do for all travelers to Cromwell.

just a note to say thank you heaps for the experiences we had the staff were friendly and informative. My wife and i loved the museum and all the great stuff about drivers etc. i did a couple of hot laps in the GT 3 and thoroughly enjoyed them, i thought for some silly reason my driver looked familiar as a pro driver i was sure i had seen him before but cant think where, i only wish i had done the drive experience, will definitely put that on my list for next time. my 7yo daughter loved the tandem kart. i have to say loo with a view was a highlight very funny.

A Place worth visiting, with limited time available we spent the entire time in the Car Museum which turned out to be one of the best. A good café adjacent all with a view over the track. Thoroughly recommended if you like Cars. Next time I will go for a drive/ride in one of their cars.

Wow simply the best. I chose the Porsche GT3 and it was an unbelievable experience. Even better as I didn’t know which way the track was going so coming over the blind brow of the bridge flat out was amazing.

What a fantastic experience. I had two laps of high adrenaline racing in a Porsche. Andrew Waite drove me around the track and his ability and handling of the car was absolutely brilliant hitting speeds of 210 kph on the straight. I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves speed. Highlands itself is amazing with the car museum, cafe and great viewing platform for watching the racing. MUST DO.

Great experience with high adrenaline. Amazing job these drivers do. My wife and I both enjoyed and the ability ti video on cell phone was an excellent option.

I recently visited for a ride in the Ferrari for my birthday present from my partner. It was the perfect present for me as I love fast cars, and make no mistake, the Ferrari was fast. Damon Leitch was the driver who took me around the track and he was brilliant, he's a great guy and a brilliant driver. We hit 220 Kph on the straight and he got airborne over the bridge... it was simply sensational and I recommend it to anyone. The facility itself is amazing with a nice cafe and a great museum. Go and visit, you be disappointed.

Andrew took me for an amazing lap in the Ferrari. He was cool, calm and friendly ensuring I was okay. This was a wonderful, exhilarating experience which I could have done again happily, immediately after. The track has fun corners, some stomach turning bumps but so much fun! I wish there was an opportunity for a photo with the driver in the car but no other complaints. The car museum was interesting and the coffee and macaroon at the cafe perfect on the deck with the view of the track and awesome Central Otago sun.

My partner really enjoyed his experience, he would definitely do it again, he liked how their was a practice lap first. We both enjoyed the car museum and it was cool how we got it half price for doing an activity
