Amazing! From the reception desk to the driver of the bus to the boat driver. Everyone was fantastic! And we loved that these 3 people were women. The boat ride itself was amazing with the length of the trip and the thrills of the ride. Our driver was fantastic!

This is and always will be a priority activity that no visitors to Queenstown should miss. Even if you have done this before it is one of the best family activities that should be on everyone’s list of things to do. Don’t miss it 👍

Longer and better ride than previous experience. Water level was quite high so went further up and down the river. A must do for anyone visiting Queenstown. Not to be missed.

This experience is definitely worth it, a great activity for all ages. We had so much fun. Just make sure you wear water proof clothing as you are likely to get splashed.

Great time! Although it was cloudy and a bit sprinkly, the ride was quite fun. The boat driver gave us the thrilling ride we were expecting, and the scenery was beautiful.

Was a spontaneous moment to do the Shotover Jet and had the best ride George was a true kiwi and passionate about the Hamilton jet boat itself. Love how he stop for a few minutes and spoke about the river. Yes I would high recommend to anyone travelling to Queenstown.

The jet ride as such was a very good experience. The jet boat driver was very lively and kept telling stories all along the journey. But what was highly disappointing was the photographs and the video outcome of our ride. We, family of 3, had sat in row numbers 3 and 4. None of us were visible clearly in any of the video or photos that were taken along/during the ride. Reason: A water droplet had covered the camera lens and it remained all through the ride. We were completely blocked in all the photos and video. We couldn't purchase the artifacts as we weren't clearly visible in any of them. It would have been a good memory for us. But,alas. Though it is natural to have the water splash on the cameras in such rides, a simple care of cleaning it occasionally when the driver stops to explain few things can avoid such disappointments. Only exception was a couple of photos that were taken initially before the ride started. Boy for 2 photos, we can't purchase the whole pack for 45 dollars! Management, please take care in future to avoid such disappointments to your customers.

The best jet boat experience in Queenstown. This whole operation runs like clockwork and you get the privilege of seeing this part of the beautiful shotover river. Stunning countryside in a spectacular part of the world. Hamish our driver was an extremely talented driver and made us feel very welcome. Great experience not to be missed if you are visiting Queenstown.

Such a fun experience! Our guide was great and did a really good job of communicating when the turns were coming up, as well as pointing out the best photo opportunities. A must-do when visiting Queenstown, and I’d definitely recommend Shotover Jet as I believe it’s the only jet boat company that can take you through the canyons. The only disappointment was being told we’d receive photos via email, only to find they were all watermarked unless you paid extra to download them.

We had a fantastic ride with our jet boat pilot Joe. One of our group got a bad dose of motion sickness and vertigo, Joe realised he was unwell and dropped him off with his wife, before rhe ride finished. The staff were very lovely offering help and support. The rest of the group loved the ride! So much fun!

We book many trips through TripAdvisor and this is the first negative experience. I have taken this trip before 20 yrs ago & excited to bring my daughter for her 31st birthday. Staff was unfriendly from check in to transportation and in the shop. Our only positive experience was our actual guide on the boat. After our ride & making a purchase in the shop we were told we missed our shuttle with no additional shuttles left to take us back as they were booked for the day and we needed to find our own transportation back to town. We could not be more disappointed on how unfriendly the staff was with no resolution or help. Business seems to be too large now & loosing its charm.

Great fun and such a thrill of an adventure. I was thinking it might be a little too short for 25 mins but after the ride it was just perfect. You will feel fully satisfied.

Have beanie and scarf with windproof jacket, especially in winter. Lots of fun and hand rails warmer was an added bonus.

Blood pumping experience! The guide was awesome, super informative and friendly. We came a lot earlier to our allocated time and they managed to squeeze us in on an earlier trip which was fantastic, so thank you for the help. Would recommend to others !

This is my second time at Shotover and I wasn't disappointed at all!!! Absolutely loved it and my daughter and her partner loved it too. It is well worth the money for such a thrilling experience. The driver was great, I can't believe they get paid to do this!! Wow what a job!! Deb Qld Australia

It was really fun! Would do it again definitely worth the money. It was a little cold the day we went but the heated handle bars definitely helped.
