It was a fantastic experience for both our boys and us. We learned how to safely and confidently ride quad bikes over challenging terrain, and the instruction was excellent. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating throughout the experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and professional adventure.

My family loved this experience. My son is 7 years old and loved the fact that he could go in a quad bike on his own, so a sense of independence. He loved getting mucky in a really controlled environment. It was a great family experience.

Just came back from an absolutely amazingly good time with Matt at Off Road. Mum, 49 (totally out of shape!) Dad, 54 (pretty fit) and two teenage daughters beaming from ear to ear! We started with the intro where Matt put us through our paces and taught us what we needed to know and then we extended to the hour long up the mountain experience! Matt was a great teacher and very funny. It was stress free learning for me being a complete novice and just so much fun. It may seem pricey to start with but you are riding top notch bikes with a very professional and experienced guide/teacher and was worth every cent. We were a family ranging from complete novices to experienced riders and we all had a blast riding together! Can’t recommend this experience enough! Give it a go NZ!!

I came last year to do the buggy with my Dad and this year was for the quad bikes with my friend! The adventure starts in the van with good chats! Matt was awesome to make us relax before THE adventure! Ryan and Brendon were perfect during the training time and we could see they knew exactly what they were doing! The rest of the tour was excellent fun and above all expectations! Thanks, Matt, Brendon, Ryan and Scott for this experience and lifetime memories! We will come back!

What an awesome day out!!! I turned up on Monday 17th August for a tour I had booked, and had Matt as a guide. Matt was fantastic, and clearly loves what he does. He got me through the training area quickly, and then off to the trails where he did an awesome job of mixing up great scenery, with trails that were challenging for me, but still achievable and a lot of fun. He mixed in great banter, and a wealth of local knowledge when he was pointing out landmarks and points of interest when we got to lookouts. I don't think they charge enough for the fun I had, and plan to come back with some mates to do this again, thanks guys for a wicked adventure!!!!!

Not just a quad tour but ultimate experience lead by the experienced guides Matt & Brendan. Mud, water crossings, uneven terrain we did it with a massive grin from ear to ear! Can not recommend highly enough. I will definitely return and recommend to associates of mine

Amazing quad bike trip for my husband, our son, his partner & myself. Had a blast, exciting off road wet & muddy experience. Certainly wasn't a boring sunday drive quad biking trip. Matt our guide, fully kitted us out in wet weather gear, explained totally how the bikes worked & made sure we had a great warm up experience to get used to the quads. He was awesome, read us all well & took some photos through out which they send you free of charge. Great kiwi experience & with a great kiwi company. Definitely worth supporting a kiwi owned family business! It was awesome!! Thanks Matt, you were 100%!

Seven of us (3 guys and 4 girls) decided to end our 6 days adventure in Queenstown here, was not disappointed at all. 😃 Really appreciated the fact that the two tour guide separated us into two different groups allowing both the guys and girls to enjoy the ride at our own levels. It was simply a total fun adventure experience. Initially expected to be a plain boring follow along ride around the farm but the instructor really let us zoomed around at high-speed. Honestly a thrill ride. If you are after a quad bike with beautiful mountain range backdrop, heavy splash of mud all over yourself and your friends following you, give these guys a try.

Great day exploring in Queenstown today. Our guide Scott was great very knowledgeable and entertaining. The tweens loved it and want to go back again, next time driving themselves. Fantastic views at the top.

My partner and I only just got married and decided to be a little adventurist in Queenstown. We gave this a go and what and experience it was. Locky was the best tour guide, I mean we stopped to see amazing views, he talked about the area, got to take photos and ride like there was no tomorrow. We got covered in mud which was mine and my wifes favourite part. Hands down recommend doing this no matter what else you have planned, you have to fit this in 👌🏼😊 would love to do it again.

We’ve done all the typical must do activities in Queenstown so far and this was the best! There’s a whole bunch of terrain to cover in beautiful scenery and Matt was an awesome guide. Great thrill, well worth the price, a must do!

I won’t lie I’ve never written a review. Perhaps it’s from laziness or because of a mediocre experience/service. However, in this case people need to know what a brilliant time Matt and the team at Off-road gave us. From the moment we were picked up Matt’s friendliness made us feel less like clients and more like his mates. His enthusiasm for his job is contagious. Moreover, he is a patient teacher as neither of us had any quad bike experience. We had such an excellent time and would recommend this as a must do to anyone visiting Queenstown. My partner and I did the quad bike tour today with Snow. He was a great instructor and tailored the ride for both myself (less experienced) and my partner (experienced). Fun, friendly and professional. Matt also gets a mention for keeping us entertained on the trip out and back. Highly recommend, thanks guys.

What a fun day on 4wheelers in a beautiful canyon with three excellent guides. I wasn’t keen on doing this but my husband was and we both ended up having a fabulous time. The guides were excellent teachers and very patient with quite a diverse group. They split us up into riding levels which worked out very well and we definitely got the most value possible for the time and $. We would definitely do this again! My husband and I spent the afternoon quad biking with Matt and had an amazing time! Matt was a fantastic teacher and brought us beginners up to scratch in no time. He was excellent at adapting his teaching to our abilities. The course is huge, beautiful and varied. We had a fantastic time and couldn’t rate it enough!

If you never tried Quad biking before then youre missing something in your life. This tour is just the best experience and has the best guides in Queenstown. Matt who was my guide for the trip is just the nicest guy and makes you feel totally comfortable, safe and in control all the time with his great tuition and explanation on how to tackle the technical elements of the tracks. Just follow his guidance and you will have the best time of your life. You get to do all the fun stuff up and down the slopes, tearing it up through the puddles and mud pools, and as a bonus you get to see the most spectacular views of the surrounding Queenstown area and mix with the natural wildlife that shares the land. All in all a day not to forget.

Had an awesome time on quad bikes with our tour guide, Ryan! This was my first time on a quad bike. Instructors were awesome and were able to gauge our skills and challenge us along the ride. Had tons of fun riding through bumpy hills, plowing through the water, and scaling through curves and ditches. The scenery was amazing and one of my favorite parts was riding right past cows that were hanging out in the shade. Excellent experience that was well worth it. Make sure to be ready for some mud and water! Amazing views, awesome instructors and tons of fun! Loved that they took go-pro photos and provided them for free!! A nice touch for the memories. I would highly recommend booking. This was one of my favorite activities when visiting Queenstown!

This by far was the best time my husband and I had on our trip. He had so much fun rippin' all over the mountain side. I was super happy going my own pace. They do a great job making sure everyone has a great experience. Splitting up into groups based on experience is a great idea. Matt and Ryan were so much fun and made it worth the money.

Matt and Brendan provided a wonderful family afternoon adventuring in the NZ countryside. A fantastic experience from pick up in Queenstown to arrival at the country property. We enjoyed the pre ride training, then setting off on our quad bike adventure amongst the hills. Mountain and river views were breathtaking. Even with no prior experience we had an exciting ride. Our teenagers absolutely loved it! Thanks for a great day guys !! Highly recommend.

Neither of us had ridden quad bikes before but we had a great day out on the sport bikes. Plenty of instruction and challenges. Would recommend.

First off, we road on Suzuki 250cc sport quads with a semiautomatic 5 speed gearbox. These were plenty powerful enough to climb hills, accelerate quickly and have some fun coming out of the corners (this coming from 3 previously experienced riders wanting a bit more than the usual restricted machines). The track itself was great, well kept and also got technical enough to keep it interesting. Some decent jumps also provided some good fun. Our two main guides were Matt and Brendon. They were both brilliant. Matt drove us all out to the park and gave some interesting info on historical sites on the way out. He also ran provided a detailed rundown on how to operate the quads correctly. Brendon brought us out on track and made sure everyone was capable of operating the machinery safely and gave us all tips but also allowed us plenty of opportunity to 'push on'and enjoy ourselves, overall two great guys that helped make the day really enjoyable and well worth the money. It's worth noting that the large group was split according to ability level which is a great idea. Fantastic day and would highly recommend.

Get ready to get muddy and love it! The quad tour was heaps of fun under the guidance of Matt. He made us feel comfortable on the quad and ensured that the experience was enjoyable for the entire group. Oh and he loves to splash you with mud. ;) We are tired, dirty and most of all happy. Highly recommend.

We were looking for something to do today because it has not stopped raining! The hotel concierge recommended off road bike tours and said it’s more fun in the rain! I was hesitant at first but I’m so glad I took his advice! Amazing experience! My guide snowwie was very patient and made me feel comfortable and safe! Our lovely bus driver and other instructor Ryan made us all feel at ease and answered the millions of questions I had! On top of all that finding out this company is a small family owned business made this experience more special! These guys really work from the heart and genuinely want you to have a good time and we did! Have already recommended to all my friends on Instagram! Also free go pro picks!!! Not like other companies that charge for each photo!!! I’m so glad I didn’t spend the whole day locked up in the hotel room! So glad I did this! Loved it!!

What a great day. Was everything promised in the description and more. Matt was fantastic and made an effort with every person on the trip, keeping us entertained with banter and facts about this beautiful country on the drive to and from. He catered the day to everyone there really to ensure we all enjoyed the day no matter our experience level. I can't rave about this experience enough, was SO much fun. Thank you Matt and Brendon!

this was my first time quad biking so I was quite nervous! I didn’t quite know what I was getting myself into......but I had such a brilliant time and would do it again in a heartbeat! My tour guide Matt was super supportive of my skill level and gave me handy pointers for improvement along the way to make my experience the best as it could be. Matty and the staff are awesome guys. The tour is run professionally with safety in mind but loads of fun! Even though it’s a three hour package they are generous with there time. Well worth the money! I had so much fun!
