Amazing experience! I had a great guide who provided excellent information and helped me take my photography to the next level. I was picked up and driven to some beautiful, remote places away from tourists to learn all the best techniques for setting up a beautiful photo. Thanks Remarkable Imagery!

Martin was fantastic. I bought a camera especially for this trip and he showed me how best to use it as well as coached on composition of photos. He knows the area inside and out. We saw a variety of gorgeous landscapes. Martin is also very familiar with the area history and hidden gems. I would highly recommend this tour!
Wonderful day with Martin. Great tips for improving photography skills. Enjoyed getting off the beaten track and seeing more of the stunning local scenery. Excellent muffins.
We had a great day with Martin touring the Queenstown area allowing my wife and I to take (as the name of the company suggests) simply remarkable photographs. My wife is a photographer and Martin took us to places we probably would not have found on our own and helped with ideas to take the best pictures possible. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Queenstown and looking for a guided photography tour book a day with Martin.
Martin is a tremendous photography tour guide and great person to spend time with. Highly recommended tour
Martin was our guide and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Our entire group had a fantastic time as Martin showed us wonder after wonder traveling through the deserts, forests, and lakes of NZ. Martin shared with us so many hidden gems and great vantage points, he also helped dial in my camera settings for the day and offered helpful tips along the way. Martin also supplied us with hot coffee and muffins overlooking queenstown, and took us to a wonderful cafe for lunch. Highly recommend if you’re interested in spending the day shooting with a friendly expert and learning about the region.
It was a wonderful, happy day with plenty of photography. Thank you Martin! I would love to come back and make a multiple days trip.
It was a happy day with plenty of photography. So great! I really enjoyed it. Thank you Martin! I would love to come back and do multiple days trip.
Had an amazing day with Martin. His knowledge of the local areas and his advice on photography was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for Martin, stopping when photo opportunities presented themselves. I have come away with some beautiful photos from around Queenstown and increased knowledge in landscape photography. Thank you for a wonderful day Martin, I hope to be back to join you on another fabulous workshop/day.
We went to two different locations. First we went to the Remarkables and did some very good shots of the area from high up and some artsy shots of a winding street. After that we took Skippers Road and wow, what a great landscape. It was even better than the first location. Martin was great and took the time to show me how to take the best pictures. I can highly this tour. Time was over way too soon.
Our guide was knowledgeable not only about photography but the area around Queenstown. He gave us a wonderful taste of the surrounding area & New Zealand itself
The day was well spent with Martin showing us a number of locations around Queenstown that were would definitely not have found on our own. He was very knowledgeable about the area and can accomodate photographers at any level. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering doing it.
This is a great option for someone looking to get a "local's perspective" of Queenstown and take a trip to lesser-known spots. I was (am) new to photography (I bought my first camera specifically for this trip) and Martin was a patient teacher. He was great at adapting his approach to my level of skill. During the day, not only did I learn and practice different techniques to compose photographs and learn some of the features of my camera, but I got to visit many "off the beaten path" spots to photograph! This trip left me feeling like I had really gotten to know Queenstown and the surrounding areas. Martin was very flexible, friendly and helpful. I couldn't recommend this trip more to someone looking to get to know Queenstown and capture some great pictures!
It was good seeing different places and learning how to use my camera to get some really great photos learnt a lot in 1 day, definitely worth the money
Martin was extremely knowledgeable and helped me take some amazing photos. Highly recommend his tour!
I am so happy to see the first snow of Queenstown 2023 at the Coronet Peak. The whole experience is legit and I highly recommend this tour.
Martin was an awesome guide. If you’re looking for amazing views of Queenstown and beyond that are off the beaten path, we highly recommend this tour. Have a great day!
Had a great day with Martin taking photographs around Queenstown. We were able to visit many places ordinary tour group, or self-tour won't able to find and get to. Martin is great teacher, helped me in composition, using of light even operating my own camera. Specially enjoyed the "local" touch at the lunch spot and visiting around Kingstown.
Thanks to Martin for a great day of photography. With Martin's inside knowledge of the area, we were able to get to some areas well away from crowds and photograph the beautiful varied landscapes around Queenstown. And to learn and practice getting compositions that work.
Martin made this experience more fun and interesting with his local knowledge and going out of his way to awesome locations for photos. I learned so much I just have to put it into practice now .. Martin is a great tutor and very patient. I highly recommend if you are looking at doing landscape photography or just wanting to go and take some awesome photos this is the man for you.
My experience with Martin was a complete success. His knowledge of the area and low key teaching style gave me lots of opportunities to try things and then he made suggestions that made each shot better. I came away with a better "eye" and additional skills I will use everytime I think about capturing a scene. I highly recommend this tour.
Martin was an excellent professional guide. His knowledge of the area and history of the people is stellar. I would highly recommend his services for a wonderful small group experience. His knowledge of photography is second to none. I highly recommend this tour and would love to work with him again.
Martin's enthusiasm for the area around Queenstown and Cromwell is matched only by his knowledge of photography. He has an easy open style that belies his focus on getting you to and helping you get the right shot. After spending a day with him I had a much greater appreciation of the various options on my camera as well as how to compose a shot. Out the back of Queenstown and Cromwell I had plenty of time to practice and learn. I would recommend him without hesitation.
I booked this photography tour to get the best of the area. I had no expectations; I was picked up at 8am and came back around 6pm; that being said, time flew by ! Martin was fantastic at bringing me to unique areas, showing me how to use my camera to capture the best picture and overall, making me feel very comfortable to ask any questions I may have had. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone that wants to see the unique landscape of New Zealand and take some pictures and or wants to learn a little more about photography. Martin is so easy going and genuinely enjoys sharing his passion with others. I had a great day and if I am so lucky to return to New Zealand would book a second tour to further my photography knowledge and visit new parts of the area ! Thank you so much for the wonderful day !
I would consider myself amatuer landscape/outdoor photographer. My hope in with booking with Martin was two-fold. First to be taken to places with beautiful views and second to learn from a pro. Both my hopes were met to more than my satisfaction. I spent two full days with Martin. One day around Wanaka and One day around Queenstown. I have good equipment and a good eye for what looks good but Martin helped me with various aspects of getting a "shot". He helped me most with composition I think. He was quite familiar with the area and we drove around to various spots where we would then both take photos side by side. I would show him my pic and he would make suggestions and show how he was composing etc. Well worth my time and money. I have lots of great photos from my New Zealand trip. I think they were helped by my experience with Martin.
Our full-day private tour with Martin was all we had hoped. The most spectacular scenery, no crowds, no rush, a knowledgable and enthusiastic guide sharing his passion for landscapes and natural beauty, AND he has lots of ideas on how to capture this world with a camera. Beautiful memories are guaranteed. He's an inspired photographer and a gentle teacher and I now find myself thinking about every photo and how I can make it better. A wonderful day that went too fast. Highly recommended. Thanks, Martin.
My wife and I spent a full day with Martin and had a thoroughly enjoyable and informative time. Martin took us to locations we would not have easily found on our own. They were excellent locations for images. We toured the wine region, got to see a restored Chinese gold miners camp, and the original Bungee jump bridge (still in operation). In addition we enjoyed lunch in a quaint local cafe ( with very good food) and took a ride to the highest point on a public road in the region. Along the way we saw remarkable rock formations and expansive views of valleys and rivers. All in all it was an excellent tour and I would highly recommend it.

there's lots beauty landscape at Queenstown, and Mark is such great professional photo shoot guide and he taught lots of photography skill.it's worth to take one day trip like this.

Spending a day touring places like Skipper's Canyon and winery country with a professional photographer topped my list of exciting and learning experiences in New Zealand. Martin took the time to learn about my camera and teach me functions and composition techniques. My own photography skills are well enhanced and I came home with some phenomenal photos.

We had a great experience on our 'Full-Day' photography tour. Martin took us places that were some of his favorite places, not necessarily on the tourist map, which was what we were looking for. Our son, who is a professional photographer, was amazed by the stunning scenery which included mountains, waterfalls, lakes and forests. He was also extremely knowledgeable of the history of the areas he took us along with the trees, flowers and vegetation. Please put this on your list of 'Things to Do' while in Queenstown and surrounding area!
