Queenstown Memories Helicopter Flight

We just want the Heath and Billy for an amazing experience, it was my wife’s first helicopter ride and I have never seen her smile so much! You guys are sensational would highly recommend you all, thanks again Pete and Clare

From booking, days leading up to, and the actual day and moment, a proposal can be a highly stressful experience. Let alone organising it for another country! But the professionalism, approachable staff and local knowledge they have, helped to ease MANY tensions! The crew at Over the Top lived up to their name, not only for the experience itself, but also the customer service! OTT are the only operator that can turn their engines off which was such a critical moment for a proposal. Our pilot found an amazing spot, took PLENTY of amazing photos to remember the occasion and was the best wingman! The ground staff were friendly, and happy to answer my thousands of questions, from start to finish, they were exceptional!

We booked a private tour, and the tour company accommodated our travel schedule, moved up our flight, picked us up at the airport, and then arranged transportation to our hotel. We had top-notch service. Thank you Hope, Pilot Mark, Tim, and Reina.

You cancelled it and I have not had a refund and not sure how to get it. You cannot expect me to be satisfied can you?

A fantastic experience, our pilot was amazing, sharing lots of knowledge with us about the area, and also found us snow so late in the season for a snow landing and photos. Value for money and a memory that will stand out forever.

One of the highlights of our time in NZ, would 100% recommend! We had booked the Queenstown Memories trip for a shared helicopter but unfortunately there were not enough people for it to go ahead but they were super accommodating and we upgraded to a private Remarkables tour that same morning which I thought was a bit extravagant but it was definitely worth it, one of the coolest things I've ever done! Our pilot was super friendly and knowledgable and though it was just a short helicopter ride the experience was so fun and the views from where we landed were just insane.

While in Queenstown I was lucky enough to do the Over The Top Golf experience.... From Start to finish the experience was excellent and I highly recommend it to golfers of any level. Our pilot Rene was that good and the weather so still I had to book somthing again for the next day but this time for our family of 4. Our 2 girls had never been on a Helicopter before (ages 5 and almost 3) And the team at OTT recommended the Remarkables Discovery. Again Rene took us on a brilliant trip... Played cheif photographer and Snow collector for the girls who had an absolute blast and still keep talking about their helicopter trip in Queenstown. Huge thank you to Louisa, Victoria, Pedro and Rene You guys Rock!

From start to finish this experience was incredible! A few days prior to our booking Victoria was proactive in contacting us to sort a better time weather wise to make sure we could complete the flight. With the new time close after our arrival into Queenstown the team were more than happy to pick us up from the airport for a timely departure. The whole crew were friendly and knowledgable making the experience the best it could be. We had plenty of time to take photos and soak up the incredible views from Cecil peak with a smooth flight to and from thanks to Stephen. They even dropped us at our accomodation afterwards - talk about over the top service! All in all a must do experience made even better by the awesome team - big thanks in particular to Victoria, Stephen and Pablo for their true over the top service! 10/10 Will be back to try out this golf experience!

The really knowledgable pilot gave us so much information about the area. We felt through all the bookings and communication emails that we already knew the staff at OTT. They were so on point with thier excellent communiation. Once we were in the air they started making everything so special and it was a thrilling experience. Most of all if you are a nervous flyer - dont worry you are in such good hands as they are are so skilled - top notch pilots. The helicopters also were well maintained and felt so clean and brand new. We thouroughly enjoyed the sense of humour of the two poilots who looked after us - Thanks OTT for making this a memorable experience for my family.

Amazing views and being able to land on the mountain and have some time to take pictures and play in the show was the best. Dan our pilot was great, and very patient with my 2 kids. Best experience ever!

Amazing time! The staff are fantastic and even though our trip was delayed due to low cloud, they updated us at the earliest with a new flight time. The ground staff and pilot were great, very informative and we didn't feel rushed at any point in time, even though their schedule was pushed out for the whole day. Very professional and I would rate this business over some of the slightly cheaper flights. Worth the extra! Thanks so much Over The Top - you made my husband's birthday very special!

A special start to our Christmas trip. We were so lucky with the weather and the views at the top took all of our breaths away. A great pilot, very calm and knowledgeable about the Queenstown mountain ranges. This is a trip my husband and son and I will treasure always.

Visiting Queenstown with the family for a few days we took the opportunity to do something pretty special and we were not disappointed The team are very friendly and welcoming and the pilot was fantastic. I highly recommend this as a must do activity when visiting Queenstown.

Choppy and her team gave us an unparalleled experience here in Queenstown. Our pilot Dan gave us a succinct preflight overview of our trip. Friendly, knowledgeable and above all safety oriented... It was an unforgettable experience that's hard to top!

This was the most amazing thing we have ever done! Walked in off the street and they went out of their way to arrange a flight for us. Remarkable place, remarkable people and the most incredible spacious top of the range helicopters. Highlight of our trip, for myself and my flying mad son. Worth every penny. This definitely was the highlight of our short trip to Queenstown. We were lucky with the weather and our pilot was supper helpful and generous with his time. Even after we booked, there were a lot of assistance as we did not have a any contact mobile. Thanks guys, great job. We totally enjoyed it.

We couldn't do a helitour of the Franz Josef and Fox glaciers as per our original holiday plans due to some rather unfavourable weather, so we thought we'd treat ourselves to a helicopter trip during our time in Queenstown instead...and we're so glad we did. We were picked up from our accommodation by a very friendly staff member and delivered to the heliport in good time, where we were weighed and briefed with a minimum of fuss. We had the chopper to ourselves ($1100 for a twin-engined squirrel) and were soon in the air with our very professional, informative and friendly pilot. We landed in the snow high up on Cecil Peak - a real novelty for Australians more accustomed to the beach - and revelled in the outstanding panaramic views. Our pilot's knowledge of the various mountain peaks piercing the horizon was impeccable - I tested him quite thoroughly - and his easy going and approachable nature made for a very comfortable and relaxing outing. Overall, a great experience which will live long in our memories.

What an amazing experience we as a family had, Dan and his superb Helicopter gave as an wonderful memory that will last a life time. Money well spent....the scenery was magnificent, touching down to view and play in the snow was fun. Dan the pilot had wonderful knowledge of the area, thanks for the ride.
