Highlands Motorsport Go-karts.

What a great way to spend a few hours - whether you are a petrol head or not - you cannot help but enjoy all on offer here - we will be back and will bring our friends as well.

This was a surprise treat. We took the taxi ride and loved every minute. I thought the first lap which was an explanation of the track would be a bit boring, but it was actually really interesting. Then came the adrenaline rush and wow it was so cool. If you like to go fast I would highly recommend it. Yes it’s a bit pricey, but when else do you get to travel in a car at that speed. There’s heaps of parking, a cafe, and toilets that are a bit different. The staff were friendly and helpful and the whole thing ran on time.

We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend it! It’s super fun for all ages, with so much to see and do. The premises are very clean and tidy, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our time there. We took part in the go-karts and played some mini golf, both of which were great fun. I also managed to get a lap around the race course, which I thoroughly enjoyed — such an exciting highlight of the day! Overall, a brilliant day out and we’ll definitely be back.

Great adrenalin experiance, on this fantastic track. Highly recommended, even for a local.

Its great fun with the track being pretty high speed but from when i went there were a lot of slow downs due to other drivers spinning and needing to get help from the marshals on track but overall its a great track and a lot of fun

Had a great day out here on a work event. The location is stunning. The car and bike museum incredible. The fast car laps awesome. The go carts amazing! The best fun ever, definitely the fastest carts I have ever been in. The mini golf really fun too, the course looks small, but it isn't, awesome fun. The loos with a view, hilarious! Never seen that anywhere before, really cool. There's also a small cafe and lots of indoor and outdoor seating options to sit back relax and enjoy the stunning views and location. A great place for events and to bring the family, especially if they are motor racing fans and love classic cars and bikes. HIGHLY recommend 👌 👍 ❤️

Hey, these guys are good. The location is just unprecedented and everything feels new and is kept so well. The staff are the best, I know it's a job for them but it just didn't feel that way, they were really interesting and interested, from the booking in area to the go karting team. Go karting was excellent, I got within 10% of the time of the F1 Red Bull driver Liam Lawson, of which half must be accounted for by relative weight! And the "Loo with a View" is brilliant fun idea, watch the circuit activity whilst doing what everyone has to do. Lots more f choice for all the family. And the circuit hosts the NZ GP, only one of two GPs allowed by The FIA outside of F1. Great place, you have to go.

What an amazing experience … the cars were Super 🤣 no literally Supercars. The driving was superb and the Golf Putt Range was a hoot. We did t go Karting but will do that next time. Honestly it was a cash treat for us but what a way to spend the morning…. Great fun

We went to Highlands and did the Go Karting as a family with my brother and his family and my adult daughter. Some of us are rather competitive…. It was a complete blast!! Only wished we did the 2 x 10 minutes and not just the 1 x 10 minutes 😂🚗 Would highly recommend this!!

Kids run the show, they also put twin seated go carts on track at same time.? Yet they are 10km slower, so if they drive on your libe and you accidentally hit them you get a penalty. Absolute BS in my view.. You get 10 mins of drivectime. 10 laps.. I had a penalty given to me for the exact reason.. Racing is competitive, it's called GO CART RACING..????? NOT SUNDAY DRIVE WITH NANA... if we can't drive like we are racing than what's the point. THINK ABOUT IT.!!!!!!

The go carts and mini golf were fantastic a great family day out however it was let down by the cafe food. It was over priced, inconsistent portions and pretty basic.

The staff were very friendly and accomadating. We would ome again and go for the speedsta. Long enough for us. A great safety video and assisted with putting gear on freely.

Highly recommend this experience! We took the kids (6 & 7 years old) in the tandem karts and they thought it was awesome! They got to have a turn at driving and just loved the whole experience. Staff were great too! Helpful and super friendly. Can't wait to go back again.

Very fun afternoon out! Racing around on the Go Karts with a very competitive family was a lot of fun. Safety was on point and the facilities were lovely and clean. It was a beautiful day so we all enjoyed sitting in the outdoor cafe area watching the cars go around while enjoying a drink with a view. Another peculiar highlight was the trip to the ‘loo with a view’ which had a number of funny themed bathrooms! The crew at the GoKarting area could have been a little more enthusiastic and upbeat but the crew at the main check in desk and cafe more than made up for that as they were lovely!

Fantastic experience, we loved every minute of it. The staff were amazing. We did go karts, drove the mustang, supercar laps and the taycan takeoff. What a great adrenaline rush, from a fantastic venue and team. Would go back again and again.

What an absolute blast. Carts are fast without being crazy. Track is excellent and really tests your driving skills. Staff are friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go again and re-challenge my son.

That was so much fun...it took me till the last lap to get the hang of the kart so need to go back again to better my time! The staff are so friendly and so very helpful, greeting us by our names and making us oldies feel like we were teenagers again. Thanks guys, I will be back!

What a well run Go Kart experience! The staff are so incredible with their knowledge, and efficiency! We loved our race! And believe we will return next time we are here. Add this to your must do. We also did the Super car Fast Dash and museum. And enjoyed the cafe. Make sure you talk to the friendly staff, they are super helpful with figuring out the best deal. Money well spent with our adrenaline hit!

What a fantastic day! The Go-Karts were so much fun and a great personal buzz after watching my partner on his Radical U-Drive experience. The staff were amazing from the front desk and cafe to the pros with the vehicles. An excellent day all.up! Ka rawe! Awesome!

A MUST do passing through Cromwell. A well thought out activity to do with family and friends - kid friendly and such a great way to have FUN for a small price!!

Really enjoyed the Go-Kart experience. Professionally managed with safety concerns as a number one priority. Our 12 yo and 10 yo had tons of fun riding it.

The Park is a MUST for any travellers to Cromwell. Superb environment and so much history in the museum. An AA++ attraction.

Quite an amazing & interesting place. We called in, as mere spectators, on a coach tour. We were allowed to drive (slowly) a full lap of the circuit in the coach, accompanied by one of the race guys as commentator. There's a long circuit, and a short circuit, plus a separate go-kart circuit. The place is private and for members only (a bit like a golf club, but for driving cars, rather than greens). There's a large cafe/ restarant overlooking the track, together with "loos with a view" - worth visiting in their own right, if you like a bit of toilet humour. Very enjoyable visit.

Wow what a fabulous day out @ Highlands Go-Karts. So well organised from start to finish and such a great team from Highlands from our first intro via the reception/shop Staff to the Go-Karts & then the cafe. We had a family member who couldn’t walk down to the go-karts & was happy to sit in the cafe but I would suggest maybe the ability to get a disabled person down to the area by a golf buggy or in one of the cars (we didn’t ask) or alternatively a TV in the cafe where non-participants can watch the race & the competitors names show up on the go-karts on the screen. A fantastic day out & the toilets were so much fun.

Carts are awesome. Had a blast. Staff very friendly and informative. Track was good. I thought I was going ok until I saw some the other lap times….omg!!

Superb location, buildings and facilities. Staff were excellent from gate to gate. Quality karts and a good circuit - we had a blast !

We heard this activity was worth the money and it didn't disappoint! The staff were amazing. The track was good with a couple of straights and plenty of corners. 10 minutes on the track just wasn't long enough for my speedsters!!!

Really fun. We enjoyed even just watching others race around. Eventually we decided to go on the karts ourselves and had a blast.

They do an excellent job here, the track is very good and the staff there were excellent. They have both single and tandem go-karts available. I throughly enjoyed my time there and would definitely recommend it

The go karting here did not disappoint! The track was sick! 650metres with some nice wide straights and some tight corners. There’s a screen at the finish line so you can see the lap times and placings of everyone in the race which is great to get your competitive side out. Awesome staff, awesome venue, will definitely be back again!

Super fun go-kart track ' fast yet technically challenging in corners had my son in the tandem karts excellent to give the young ones a go at stearing ' he was just glowing after that ' highly recommended great support staff and friendly ' great for big family groups or friends lots of karts to challenging each other' defiantly going to go back. Lots to do had a coffee and ate some yummy food while watching the fast race cars going around the track great day out ' Thanks 😊 👍

loved this we came here on school camp and was by far my favorite activity we did!! I loved how you got to race your friends and try and better your lap times

The go kart track is quick and fun with lots of change of direction and heavy braking zones, the crew are very welcoming and a crew member even raced on track with me to make it more interesting and fun, thanks y’all, great experience and a must do for groups

was excellent afternoon of fun with friends. well run and very good communications as our 1.00pm was delayed due to track being wet. although only ten minutes on the track you are always concentrating so you can be quite mentally tired for the last couple of laps if really go flat out. really really enjoyable for everyone and a fun track to drive, lots of turns to practice your lines if you really enjoy driving.

This was our daughters' first go-kart experience and they are now hooked! Our 10-year-old jumped in the tandem kart with her dad and did all the steering, while our 11-year-old loved the independence of driving herself around the kart track.

The complex is world-class; the staff are friendly and helpful; the tracks are great, and awesome fun. We did 4 kart races, the Highlands Taxi and the Radical. Steve is a great driver/co-driver.

We were a group of 15 and booked to drive the Go-Karts. Our ages ranged up to 87 years old and we had a bal l!! Well presented and organised, we had so much fun racing around the track in these super little karts. Afterwards, several in the group also booked to do the Ferrari Fastlap and all came back with the biggest grins ever! They loved it, the brilliant driver, the speed and the absolute thrill. This whole park complex is a real credit to those who organise, run and serve here. We would totally recommend it to anyone.

Had a blast racing with my son...we both felt that the price was reasonable for Queenstown / Cromwell "things to do " The whole Hoghlands experience was really good..allow about 1.5 -2 hours if having a cafe lunch there ...which by the way was also very good and dont forget to check out the loos!

Racing with Hayden Paddon and the group of guys we took there was awesome. The whole experience was fantastic. The staff are friendly, enthusiastic and helpful.

The Go Karts were so much fun. And we had a go on the Taxi as well. Honestly can say it was a fabulous day and well worth the visit. Great range of prices for whatever experience you wanted. It's truely a must see and experience venue.

Thanks to the staff who were very accommodating of our fast visit. GoKarts were heaps of fun even for beginners and younger kids - will be back again!

This was our third visit to the Motorsport Park and it was fantastic as always. Hubby and two sons did the go karts and I did the lap at 220kph in the Ferrari. We had such a great time. Remember to visit the Loo with a View. We have done the Museum, lap in the V8 too and they are all great. We can easily spend several hours here!!

An excellent place to get your adrenaline going...friendly staff and great location....cant ask for more!!
