Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful experience with Ramada Queenstown Central, not only because the hotel was clean, comfortable and very well maintained, but especially because of the exceptional service from the staff. I accidentally left an item behind after my stay, and the team went above and beyond to help me locate it. They were extremely helpful, responsive and genuinely tried their best to find a solution for me. Once the item was found, they also kindly assisted with arranging it for courier collection and helped resolve everything within a very short period of time. I really appreciate the effort, patience and care shown by the team. It is not often that you come across such attentive and reliable service, especially after you have already checked out. The hotel itself was also very comfortable, clean and pleasant to stay in. Combined with the excellent customer service, I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend Ramada Queenstown Central to anyone visiting Queenstown. A big thank you to the team for all your help!

It's a really good hotel. A little bit out of town, the walk in is downhill, the walk back, up hill. Our apartment room was good with a 'sort of' lake view, there is huge black steel beam diagonally across the windows. Otherwise a good stay.
Really nice smaller hotel. Rooms were clean, including the bathroom, and well furnished. Hotel is located within easy walking distance, 6 to 8 blocks, of the major attractions. No view from my room but maybe the rooms on the top floor have a view. Staff were friendly and helpful. The attached restruant, the Coco Cabana was good especially for breakfast.
Apart from the name, and the friendly service, nothing about this hotel speaks "Ramada". Let me explain why, and what you get: 1. Firstly, great lobby, and nice restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. 2. Good location. That's about all the positives.. now the harsh reality: 1. Outdated rooms, nothing premium at all. Two weird beams in our rooms which are very 2001. 2. Barely any proper place to keep items, 3. Bathrooms are not wall tiled... I have more tiles/fittings in my bathroom at home. 4. The TV (more like a 32 inch monitor) doesn't have screen casting. We're stuck with the free-to-air channels. If you're happy with a basic, more like 3-star experience with a good location, go for it. If you're thinking this will be the international Ramada standard hotel, skip.
Stayed here 2 nights in January 2026. This is not the Ramada we find in the US. This hotel is super clean, with spacious rooms, crisp linens, fluffy towels draped over a functioning towel warmer, and pleasant staff. Also the room is well ventilated. For what I paid, I have absolutely no complaints and would stay there again in a heartbeat. It is about 15 min walk to a street with many restaurants, but there is a Mexican restaurant on-site.
