Property Feedback – Apartment 3** Unfortunately, our stay in Apartment 3** was very disappointing and fell well below our expectations. The property is quite far from the city centre, meaning we had to spend around NZD 30 each way on Uber. The lack of a reception also made it difficult to resolve issues. Customer service was particularly disappointing. While Josh was polite and helpful, our interactions with CHRIS were unpleasant, including being called “liars” when we raised genuine concerns. We felt our complaints were not taken seriously. We also experienced several issues during our stay: * Very limited TV channels, frequent signal problems and no music option. * Insufficient hot water for four guests—only two people were able to have hot showers. * Mouse droppings under the kitchen sink. * Several exposed carpet nails that were a safety hazard, requiring us to purchase slippers. * Inconsistent room temperature. * Mouldy-smelling bathrooms and very low shower pressure. The combination of these issues significantly affected what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday. We have stayed in Queenstown many times and have never experienced this many problems at one property. I strongly recommend that management address the safety, hygiene, hot-water and customer-service issues. Paying guests should be treated respectfully and provided with safe, clean accommodation and basic working facilities. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not recommend this property in its current condition.

We stayed 3 nights at a 6 bedroom apartment. My thoughts on this apt is rather mixed feelings. Overall the stay is OK. Living room and kitchen were gretlat. Unfortunately I do have some issue that made this rqtinv a 3*. 1. There is no reception. Any problems we were not sure how to report. 2. The electric door lock and tv remote batteries were almost out. We do not know where we should throw our rubbish. No instructions. 3. Beds were not comfortable as they wers too old already 4. No amenities such as proper shampoo and bath. Only 1 small tiny tube. 5. The worse part of the whole experience was the lack of bug/insect net on the sliding windows. Let me explain. We are here in march, temperature outside is great. However, we cannot open the sliding glass or windows as there were millions of insects. The apt winter insulation was so good that inside the whole apartment were SUPER HOT when windows were closed. And there are no air conditioners, only heaters. So we were stuck. Despite the many shortcomings, the view from balcony was very nice overseeing the lake.
An absolute disgrace of a hotel. The room email and access code didn’t work, leaving us stranded for over 30 minutes until we were forced to call for assistance — zero organisation, zero accountability from the staff The downstairs bathroom smelled like rotting vomit, the washing machine was ancient, filthy, that leaked during washing. Air conditioning and temperature control were a joke — the room was unbearably hot, making it impossible to sleep. The TVs looked like they were pulled straight out of the early 2000s — outdated, useless Samsung junk. The property is suffocatingly packed with ridiculous rules and conditions, including being told you can’t even use extra rubbish bins — nickel-and-diming guests while providing absolute trash facilities to use at a ridiculous price. Should've costed 400, not 840 a night. Bathrooms didn’t even have locks. This was a complete waste of money. One of the worst accommodations I’ve ever stayed in. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place entirely — you’d be genuinely better off sleeping literally anywhere else!
We stayed at Queenstown Village Apartments for 3 nights and absolutely loved our stay. The views were truly stunning - waking up to the lake and mountain scenery each morning felt unreal. The apartment itself was spacious, spotless, and beautifully presented, with plenty of room to relax after busy days exploring Queenstown. The bathrooms were a standout too: modern, large, and really well-designed, which made getting ready each day feel effortless. Overall, the apartment was comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Queenstown!
We stayed here in the month of april with kids , great place and we loved the location and apartment overall. Only thing which we didn’t like is no aircon provided and it was really hot inside the apartment, we reported to the management also but no action taken and only response was to open the windows but even that didn’t helped. The temperature inside the house was always high irrespective of the outside temperature. So Aircon is must in the apartment atleast this is what we felt. Car park is available in open and walkable distance to the apartment, need to walk uphill little bit around 100m. Overall value for money.
