If giving no stars was an option i would. staff were horrible, rooms have a constant humming sound being played through speakers in the rooms, hollow walls could hear everything and i mean everything from the rooms surrounding and when we complained about no sleep and loud disturbances through the night they practically laughed in our face offered no help to our situation. If your staying for 1 night have fun spending $420 for for a $70 service

DO NOT STAY HERE. By far the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel in my life. We stayed here 1 night payed way too much for a room that we couldn't even sleep in. The noise was next level. You can hear EVERYTHING from people talking, flushing toilets, doors shutting, water running etc. We got absolutely no sleep and finally decided to leave when someone started vacuuming at our door at 8am. When we tried to discuss the problems we had with the front desk all they did was give excuses and showed no interest in resolving the issue. Im baffled they can charge you so much and provide such a terrible experience with no effort to make it right. Extremely disappointed and this experience ruined our trip.
We stayed just overnight on our way to Milford Sound. The room was large and spotless. Very comfortable bed and firm mattress. I loved the space of the room, which allows you to feel more like home and not jammed between the walls. We even went for a quick gym stop (though gym room is rather small), but you do not come to NZ to workout in the gym :) Free parking at the hotel was very useful. We drove to the city center during daytime and walked to a nearby restaurant (very tasty food) for dinner in the evening. One of the most comfortable nights in NZ for us.
We stayed here for one night because our flight arrived in the late evening. Good proximity to the airport (about 25 minutes walking distance). The hotel itself is nice and new with a gorgeous mountain backdrop. The room was large enough for a short stay. The bathroom was quite small and the sink had virtually no room for toiletries. The air-conditioning unit was so noisy (sounded like rushing water) we had to turn it off. The walls are also extremely thin and you can hear everything - people talking in the corridor, snoring in the room next to yours and the sound of the neighbouring rooms showering and flushing the toilets. This makes for a terrible sleep, particularly if you are a light sleeper. As a result, we won't be staying here again.
Managed to get a last minute booking here after our other booked accommodation dumped us at the last minute. Nice clean room, plenty of amenities, friendly staff. Not really walking distance to any shopping or pubs etc but only a 3min car ride, was very quiet which was good. Compared to other providers in the area the price was very reasonable. Going by our experience I'd happily recommend it.
