The Women in Wine walking tour went far beyond my expectations! Each stop was completely stress-free, with a spot waiting for our group and glasses of wine and snacks to try. Our guide, Fred, really made the experience great. She was incredibly knowledgable about the wines, the wine bars, and the neighborhoods, and happily answered all of our questions. Plus, she matched the silly vibe of our group perfectly and easily navigated us around town when streets were closed for a cycling event. I could not have had a better time, and I would absolutely recommend this tour to everyone!

What a delightful afternoon! Amelie guided our small group of 3 to four wine bars, and it was quite an education, both regarding the wine and the overall Quebec culture. Highly recommended!!

I highly recommend this tour to any person who likes to try a wine; (or seven) different to the run of the mill wines you would normally have. Fred our tour guide, was laidback, happy go lucky, quite informative, and only to happy to answer our groups barrage of questions. This tour takes place in a funky area of town, so arrive early, so you can check out the surrounding shops, and building murals before the tour starts. Thank you so much Fred for such a great tour!

Our tour was with a small group of eight. Fred our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable about the wines and history in the neighborhoods. We had good wine pours and yummy snacks at each stop.

This tour was by far my favorite walking tour experience ever. Our guide, Amelie, was both friendly and full of information and guided us expertly to four unique and wonderful places to learn about women in wine. The pace of the tour was just right and was absolutely a great value. I loved getting to experience places and people in Montreal that I wouldn’t have known anything about otherwise.

Fred was friendly, engaging, helpful and an all round excellent tour guide. The tour surpassed our expectations! The wine we tasted was delicious, the venues were lovely, the food delicious and we even made friends! We couldn’t recommend this tour enough and shall do if we have any friends coming to Montréal! We particularly liked how Fred took the time to write down recommendations for us on a leaflet we could take home after the tour.

What a wi detail tour! It was fun to learn about the ladies influencing the montreal wine scene. Visit some local watering holes and taste local wines and wines from all over. It was an afternoon wander through Le Plateau tasting lesser known, but intriguing delicious wines: whites, roses, and a red. Led by a native Montrealer, Fred, the history of the wine industry in the city and, how today, women are instrumental in the burgeoning business of natural wines was discussed. It is a tour worth taking.

This tour was so much fun! It was also educational, even for someone who's been living in Montreal almost her entire life. It was perfect to meet interesting people from different cities and get to chat with new people. Danny and Fred were super friendly, patient and knowledgeable about their wines and the history of the city. The wines were delicious and varied, and we got little bites to eat at every stop. I definitely recommend it! It's totally worth it.

I had such a great time on the wine tour. It was a beautiful day, and I got to meet a lot of wonderful people. There were about 10 of us, which made it easy to have great conversations What I really enjoyed was how the tour was structured. We started with stories, a snack, and some interesting discussions, then visited four different locations. Even though I'm from Montreal, I learned about fascinating projects happening in the city that I had never heard of before. Along the way, we also learned about the city's history, art, and origins, which added so much to the experience After the roughly 3-hourish tour, we actually decided to stay at the last location and enjoy some more of their wine and food, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed it. I also came away with a new appreciation for details around the city that I never noticed before. There are a few things I was tempted to share in this review, but I won't spill the beans. You'll have to discover them for yourself if you take the tour! I would absolutely recommend this tour. The price was well worth it for everything you get. It was delicious, entertaining, and full of interesting people. It's definitely going to be one of my favourite experiences of the summer. Our host was great, knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely enthusiastic. I was surprised to learn she hadn't been doing this for very long because she seemed like someone with years of experience. She really made an already great experience even better.

Wooooow!!! I had no idea being a tourist in my own city would be so much fun, I absolutely 💯 recommend! Frederick and Danny were the most professional and gracious hosts. The destinations were all lovely and diverse and the approach and communication with the wine was just perfectly universal for all levels of wine lovers, do not hesitate to book!!!

I had a fantastic time on this walking tour! The group size was perfect, small enough to feel personal, but not so tiny that it felt awkward. The walking distances between stops were short and felt effortless because the guides kept us completely engaged, chatting with us the whole way. I absolutely loved that they highlighted women in the wine industry, such a fantastic and important touch! The guides themselves were incredibly sweet and welcoming. The bars they took us to were super cool and not overcrowded, which really let us soak in the atmosphere. Plus, the service at every single stop was amazing. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it!

I had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of attending the tour this past Saturday and what an absolute perfect way to spend the day. I learned so much about my city - this tour is perfect not only for tourists' but for Montrealers as well! The locations are carefully chosen and the products that are served are great! A perfect and fun exploration of Montreal through female owned businesses, wine producers and sommeliers. All the spots we visited offered delicious wines and not to mention great bites! It was also great to hear about the history of women workers in Montreal through our walk and even look at some vines (you will be surprised!). Everything was beautifully arranged and well thought. This tour is also a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and make friends while sharing wine. I truly enjoyed it and would recommend!

I loved this 2 hours tour of women owned wine bars in Montreal. I lived in this city pretty much all my life and still discovered a new spot + learned a few things while on the tour. Highly recommend for solo travelers (especially women) looking to mingle with locals and tourists, but also to anyone who just wants to have a good time drinking wine!

Was so lucky to try out Spade & Palacios’s New tour. I learned so much and had no idea about the ladies in the wine scene in the city. The stories were the best and of course the wine. I actually raved about the snacks, love the Lebanese bite at the second spot!

We had a really great time visiting some local spots and walking through the Plateau neighbourhood. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone visiting, or even living in the city!

Seeing my city and a neighborhood I thought I knew like the back of my hand, through a "tourist's" perspective is incredibly refreshing for the mind. I loved it! It allowed me not only to visit my city but also to make wonderful encounters. I would do it again!
