My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Anne. Anne provided a great mix of history, humor interspersed with her own experiences. I appreciated her asking us where we were from and then finding a tie and a way to connect with each of us.

Our guide was exceptional, she joined laughter with history. She was so expressive and fun. Highly Recommend!
Easy city street walk with lots of specific info. Saw a lot of historical sites and learned their history.
We were 2 couples on a tour with 5 other people. Louise was our tour guide and she was marvelous! She gave us so much history and knowledge about the old city while adding humor and fun facts to keep it interesting. Even though it was a lot of up hill and downhill, it didn’t feel too overwhelming! This tour is definitely worth booking as you will learn so much about the city and see all of the top sites!
If you can request a guide, stick with Robert! Fun but informative, covering a lot of distance.
A great opportunity to learn about the history of Quebec in a short time, especially when you are only visiting for 1 day
While our guide (Adrianne?) was knowledgeable, I found her over-animated style and her attempts to be funny just plain grating. I’d prefer a more serious tour.
For a walking tour, I thought we would walk more. Our guide was enthusiastic. I had hoped to cover more ground, we really only did a few stops in 2+ hours.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable, had a lot of energy and very personable. The tour was a great experience
Very informative history lesson, very interesting and humorous guide named Helene. Great way to spend a couple hours getting to know the city
We walked into the TripAdvisor office and then booked online. Our tour guide was Alaine B, not only was she extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city answering any questions we could have, She also knew the city well enough to direct us around active construction. There was a number of school tours happening at the same time and she did a very good job of orating to us so that we could all hear properly. Despite the cold weather, she kept everyone engaged and warm. As a person who spend a lot of time in Quebec city, she had a lot of personal anecdotes to share as well as an interesting tidbit about her personal history. I will recommend this to my Friends and family.
We did our walking tour with Mark, and he was great. He provided historical background, and provided perspective of how it's impacted Quebec culture to-date. He was very engaging and tried to address everyone's questions.
We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour with Louise, she was fantastic!! She was very informative and shared her knowledge of the history, architecture and love for Quebec City. We saw so much, as well as, learnt so much through Louise’s passion and humour that kept us wanting to learn more about the city.
Yves was informative and in good humor throughout the walk. Highly recommended. Thank you for an excellent experience
Lots of walking and seeing major sites along with history. Well worth the price. The guide was very knowledgeable. Took a good 2.5 hrs- only downside was we did not go into any buildings. However, gave us excellent feel for the city and history.
Marie was excellent. She was interesting, engaging, and extremely pleasant. Marie's love for and connection to Quebec came through in her presentation to make our experience one that will be long-remembered and appreciated.
Tour guide was knowledgeable, talkative, no boring moments and controlled pace of the tour very well.
We did the 2 hour “The Grand Tour” in english in September and we would highly recommend it! It was very easy to book and get to our meeting place. Our tour guide Mark Lepitre was very knowledgeable about the history of beautiful Quebec City and all its beauty. He was very entertaining, informative and his tour was at a good pace. This was our 2nd visit to QC and we learned a lot about the city with this tour. Would recommend doing this tour!
My daughter and I did the Walking Tour of Quebec City with Robert. Robert was an excellent guide. We very much enjoyed his historical explanations and perspective about the sites, we saw. He didn't rush, gave lots of time and willingly and knowledgeably answered questions. The Two from Ottawa
Fantastic. Highly recommend. Hit the highlights. Knowledgable guide. Great value. Lots of steps though. Keep that in mind. Rest up beforehand
Excellent tour brilliantly delivered to keep us engaged and informed. Walked miles saw lots and learnt loads
We had an amazing tour with Paul. In 2 hours he managed to tell us the history of the city and showed us major attractions and hidden gems. If you don’t mind walking, I highly recommend this tour.
Best tour I’ve done in years! Anne was amazing very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend. I would rate Anne with a 6 stars review. Merci
We had an amazing time with our tour guide Anne T! She was an enthusiastic and engaging expert and it was the perfect way to kickstart our visit. Can't recommend enough!
We just visited Quebec City for our first time. It is a beautiful city with lots of history. We decided to do a walking tour to hear about it. Helene was our tour guide, she was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We highly recommend this tour. Thanks you Helene.
Tour was advertised as a short walk from the port which it most certainly was not. Even leaving very early, we arrived half an hour late so thought we had missed out altogether. Thankfully, there was another tour just leaving so we were put on that one.
The connection of sites with history of Quebec. Very entertaining and informative tour. All my questions were answered.
He was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. He was also entertaining.. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in finding. Out more about the city and its origins
Francis was energetic, entertaining and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the area's history and geography including tides. We would go an another tour with him!
Robert was a great guide. Very interesting, lots of information. Would take an another trip with him anytime. Thank you.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Quebec City.
A great guide with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable approach. Interesting mix of history, architecture, folklore and lived experience. Huge amount of construction noise did make it challenging to hear all the commentary at times but overall a solid experience.
Great guide. Very knowledgeable guide. Easy pace. Beautiful city and lots of fun facts I loved learning about food, arch as well as history
We had a group of about 15 people. DeJeane explained all the key parts of Quebec history and answered questions well. She led us around the historic sites at the upper part of the city and the nice shopping areas further down. The hardest part was trying to hear her over the construction and street performers.
Carol was an excellent guide on our walking tour. The sites were interesting and the explanation was detailed. The pace was good.
Paul was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable about Quebec's history and was very funny also. Our family had a great tour with him.
It was a great tour and very informative and well paced. Our tour guide, Christian, brought history to life with lively and engaging presentations.
Our tour guide, Carole Parent, was just amazing. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable , she made the two hour tour seem like 15 minutes. She had great insights, interesting stories, and extensive historical knowledge. And all told with a sense of humor. We will ask for her on our next trip to Quebec Thanks Carole!!
I enjoyed learning about the history of French Canada. Much of it was new to me. Thanks for these enriching insights.
We enjoyed the tour and Jim was very informative and spoke loud enough to be heard. We had a beautiful day in Quebec and will definitely be back.
Very educational . The quide was great. We learned alot about this beautiful city. We would love to return to this gem.
It is not what we expected. I would like to see more places instead of more talking. We didn't even go inside the Notre Dame.
Jocelyne was very knowledgeable and passionate about providing history about her beloved Quebec City. There was a lot of construction throughout the tour (unavoidable) . She would have a great job with a portable amplification system.
Historical information was very interesting. Enjoyed visiting churches. Architectural details of the oldest parts of Quebec City were interesting.
Highly recommend this to get your bearings to see Quebec City. We want to go back to Quebec it is a beautiful city
We took the tour of Old Quebec City with our guide Louise. She was charming and really gave us a sense of the history and culture in this charming city. Highly recommend!
Carole was a fantastic tour guide. She knows the city and history! Very enjoyable tour. Yes there are steps and the streets are up and down but our group did fine and we are mostly over the age of 70!
Neil Schumacher was our guide with a Viking organized tour of Quebec City. He was fabulous! Very knowledgeable, with just the right combination of humorous asides and historical information. A true lover of this most charming city. Highly recommend him for your visit. He gives private tours, also. E.White
Guide gave an excellent historical overview of Quebec City which included all of the historical buildings and events that formed the founding of Quebec
It was a great experience. So glad we opted for the walking tour. Our Guide, Marie Blais was fantastic!
