Discover its incredible neo-Roman architecture, its magnificent stained glass windows, its

stroll through the sanctuary, visit the outer chapels and contemplate this busy place

The tour begins at the foot of the waterfall, where you’ll feel the full power of the 83-metre plunge — 30 metres higher than Niagara Falls. From this unique perspective, you can admire the immensity of the basin and take spectacular photos as close as possible to the waterfall.
We will then go to the top of the waterfall. From above, the panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River, Île d’Orléans and the surrounding area is simply magnificent. You’ll have the opportunity to cross the suspension bridge directly over the waterfall — an impressive and memorable experience.
The tour also includes a stop near the Manoir Montmorency and the historic fortifications of the site, witnesses to a rich military past.

Yves was an excellent guide for this trip. Very friendly and professional, with great knowledge of the area and its history. He made a great suggestion that we visit the basilica first, hoping the sun might appear by the time we arrived at the falls. This turned out to be the case, and we had a marvelous experience and some truly wonderful photos. Should I ever visit Quebec again, I would be sure to try to book with him.
