Not as customized as advertised. Been on many solo tours to learn about a place I’ve never been, but this one did not meet expectations. Didn’t go to the places I’d expected and went where I specifically said I wasn’t interested.

My wife and I booked this tour months in advance and were looking forward to starting our vacation with a bang by taking in the popular sites listed in the itinerary of this tour. We waited over 30 minutes at the agreed upon meeting point in the cold but no one showed. No one called. No one texted. After 35 minutes I contacted Viator. They were very helpful. They refunded our money and apologized. They are the only reason I'm giving this experience 2 stars. I totally understand that circumstances arise and there are reasons why someone can't make it. What I definitely don't appreciate is there was no attempt to do us the courtesy of letting us know. The tour may or may not be good, however, we will never know. We were disappointed to have missed out out the opportunity.
We enjoyed using the public transportation and our trip to Chinatown for lunch was nice. I was surprised that The guide did not have the information that we provided to buy a tour regarding our interests.
Private tour was good. Our tour guide was very energetic and friendly, spoke perfect English and French. We were hoping for more historical information of land marks at old Montreal.
Very knowledgeable about area and history. Showed us a bit of everything the city has to offer. Took is to a wonderful crepe restaurant. They were delicious.

The trip never happened. All Viator could do was refund our money. The young lady who accepted this assignment provided a lame excuse and could come later in the day The trip the next day was excellent
