A scenic 2 hour drive from downtown Montreal, Park Omega is a must-see attraction where you can see Canadian animals up close. This wild animal paradise and the neighboring Le Chateau Montebello, the world largest log cabin are yours to explore for a unique experience. This is a private tour for up to 3/4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. I will pick you up at any Montreal location at 9am and have you back by 5-6pm. I drive a comfortable Nissan Sentra less than 5 years old. Your admission to Omega Park and the carrots to feed the animals are included in your price. The winter is a truly wonderful time to visit Parc Omega, as you can explore the 2200 acres of Parc Omega and see the animals with their beautiful fluffy winter coats. Unlike a zoo, at Parc Omega the animals have massive enclosures many of which you drive through, and the animals can walk up to your car. Being able to visit the animals from the comforts of your car is perfect on a frosty day as you can stay nice and toasty in your car feeding some of the animals carrots from the window of the car.

Sorinel was a lovely person and provided a wonderful experience for us. He clearly knows the park very well, he has a personal love for all the animals, and was joining us in our enjoyment of feeding the deer and observing the general cuteness overload that was taking place. It's difficult to consider wolves as ferocious as they really are when seen lounging around like our dog. Sorinel made sure we had a top notch experience at all times.

I took this tour with my family of four (two young adult children). Our guide was very professional and friendly (we can't remember his name exactly, but he told us he was originally from Romania). We had no idea what to expect from the day. Parc Omega is a wildlife parc with wide open spaces where animals can (in many cases) roam freely. We enjoyed seeing all the animals, but two things stood out: the presentation by staff at the park during the feeding of the wolves, and the feeding of the deer that are all over the park by us from our vehicle. Basically we were provided carrots to feed the deer through the car windows. This was somehow so hilarious that it never got old. I was sad when my carrots ran out. We also really like hotels, so seeing Montebello lodge was really interesting to all of us as it is a really beautiful property.
It was fun to get a little bit of that Quebec countryside on the drive to and from the park. Hanging out with all the deer and seeing all the animals was a great time. I’d recommend for a day outside of the city.
Chris and Eric took us on the most amazing trip to Omega Parc. We originally had our trip cancelled due to the park closing from bad weather conditions, but Chris was able to find us another day to visit which we are so grateful for. Eric was our guide and he was loads of runs and very knowledgeable. He went out of his way to give us an amazing experience. Highly recommend both this experience and the Gankor tours. My Parc Omega experience with Chris from Ganko Tours was seamless and fun. It was an extremely last minute booking in which he was very helpful with completing the booking. I was picked up directly from the airport so this was my introduction to my trip to Montréal. I would recommend to anyone who’s never been to Parc Omega to use this tour as it’s the best option. Chris is informative and kind hearted. If I would’ve rented a vehicle to try and do Parc Omega by ourselves it could’ve ended with Vehicle damage. Using Ganko Tours you won’t have any of those worries while also just enjoying the ambiance that the park has to offer. We are really glad we decided to do this excursion. Definitely a highlight on our trip. Our guide Andreea was absolutely fantastic on time and really easy to talk to, so the whole drive to the park went fast. She also brought tons of carrots so that we had something to feed the animals. The park itself is just wonderful. So many animals are roaming around. There are places you can step out of the car stretch your feet and have a little walk and get a little closer to the animals. One of my favorites was the wolf habitat. We had a lunch in the park and bought us a little souvenir. Andreea was knowledgeable and could answer all the questions we had.
Parc Omega is amazing! Interacting with elk, deer and wild boar, watching bison, wolves and bear were incredible. We were unable to visit Montebello Lodge, but that was ok. Andreea was a professional, knowledgable and fun guide. We highly recommend!

Fantastic experience. Chris was waiting for us and we left on time. We saw a lot of animals, and Chris gave us a lot of explanations. Unfortunately we could not visit Montebello which only allows guests because of Covid, but we could see it from outside. I'd definitely recommend if you want to get out of the city for a day.

I had an accident and I was not able to drive myself. My family has always wanted to visit the Omega Park. A friend gave me the idea to hire a guide and I booked Chris based on the excellent reviews. I was not wrong. Chris picked up my family and drove them to the Omega Park. My girls came back extremely happy at the end of the tour. Seeing the big smiles on their faces, made me very happy. We were picked up by Chris and driven out to the Parc Omega. It was just so special to see the animals and be able to feed them to. Chris was enthusiastic and shared lots of information about the places we went to. The snow was beautiful and really made our afternoon!

Pünktlich zur vereinbarten Zeit holte mich mein Tourguide/Fahrer Sorinel an meinem Hotel ab. Mit seinem sauberen und bequemen Honda Accord fuhren wir ca 90 Minuten bis zum Omega Park. In der Zeit haben wir uns gut unterhalten und kennengelernt und Sorinel hat mir kenntnisreich viel von Kanada, dem changing of colors und dem Omega Park erzählt. Dort angekommen gingen wir erst einmal in die Lodge auf einen Kaffee und bewunderten die Aussicht. Dass ein Haus (Blockhaus) so riechen kann - wow! Mit dem Auto ging es dann in den Park, wo wir am Eingang von einer Herde Wapitis begrüsst wurden. Sorinel hatte säckeweise Möhren dabei und das Füttern hat viel Spaß gemacht. Die Landschaft im Park ist toll und ich habe alle Tiere gesehen, die ich mir gewünscht habe, vom Kanadagänsen, Wapiti, Hirsch, Karibu, Elch, Bison über Füchse uns Wölfe bis hin zu den Bären. Sorinel wusste immer, wo in dem riesigen Areal sich die Tiere aufhielten. Man kann ihm seine Begeisterung für die Tiere und den Park richtig anmerken. In der Parkmitte ist ein Areal mit Rastplätzen, Kinderspielplatz, Souvenirshop, WC und der Möglichkeit, sich mit Essen und Getränken zu versorgen. Außerdem kann man von dort durch einen kleinen Wald zu den Wolf-Aussichtspunkten gehen. Die herrliche Luft dort zu atmen - einfach toll. Nach dem Verlassen des Parks ging es noch auf einen Abstecher zum Fairmont Montebello, dem größten Blockhaus der Welt und dann brachte mich Sorinel zurück zu meinem Hotel. Sorinel ist ein sehr freundlicher Mann, der rücksichtsvoll auf die Bedürfnisse seiner Mitfahrer eingeht und seine Geschwindigkeit ihren Möglichkeiten anpasst. Ich hätte mir für diesen tollen Tag keinen besseren Begleiter wünschen können. Danke Sorinel!!!

La visite du parc en hiver est très valable, beaucoup d'animaux étant visibles. Le concept du parc est intéressant (animaux du Canada, ecosystème fermé par lequel les bêtes mortes nourrissent les vivantes) et l'observation des loups un temps fort de la visite. Le guide est très sympathique et offre une multitude d'informations sur les conditions de vie des animaux.

A very pleasant driver / guide never short of anecdotes and information, a huge park very well maintained with mostly docile semi-free animals never tired of carrots. All with sunny weather. Covid period forces it, visits are limited every day, which is no worse (I dare not imagine the world in summer!). An unmissable excursion to make if you are visiting the region!

A unique experience in Omega Park, with beautiful views and very close contact with nature, definitely winter is the best time to visit the park. The tour includes pick up and drop off in Montreal, the entrance to the park and carrots to feed the animals, the very comfortable car for small groups, Christopher our very professional guide. The tour includes a short stop in Montebello that although it is beautiful, nothing otherworldly and easy to avoid, I considered it a little unnecessary. Tip, book ahead, there are few places and dates sell out very quickly.

We really liked this tour, seeing the animals in their habitat was very interesting when we went it was raining a bit but that was better because we had to see the bears playing.
