Our guide was very knowledgeable, included guests with questions and answers, entertained children, and was very engaged. I would say if you’re older or experiencing knee issues, it’s about 7000 steps, including some steep staircases. Weather was overcast and misty but positivity keep the hard rain away :). Only request- I wish they’d stop for a cappuccino half way through and let you recharge for 5 mins! Recommend

Amazing food tour! Loved how it was spaced apart enough for us to enjoy each tasting. Walking around the neighbourhood and learning bits about the culture was very interesting. Our guide had a lot of knowledge and gave us excellent recommendations.
This was a great tour, one of our favourite things we did in Montreal! It was easy and cheap to hop in an uber to the meeting point. All food stops were completely different to each other so you weren’t tasting things that were too similar. Mile End also has a very interesting history that we enjoyed learning about! We also found this a good way of trying poutine without having to buy a whole portion! I still think about the Greek chicken and veg pastry and the Arnold palmer. So delicious! Overall a great experience!
This food tour had the perfect blend of savory and sweet. We began with the iconic wood-fired Montreal bagel, fresh and hot from the oven. Tastings also included treats representing the various ethnic groups of Mile End and ended with a hot drink and cannoli. We learned about the history and culture of the Mile End neighborhood as well. Louis was great!
The food tour with Eric was as advertised. It was a walking foodie historical tour that was very enjoyable and well paced. The group size was small so we could move easily through the neighborhoods out in the mile end the area. Take the tour and find out why it’s called mile Mile end.
We took this tour with Karina on a chilly day but still had wonderful time learning Montreal history culture and food relationships to people and areas in the city
We loved our tour with Éric! He was informative and fun, and brought us to enjoy delicious bites in several places, including 3 iconic Montreal stops - bagel, poutine, and smoked meat. I prefer to avoid dairy and he was happy to accommodate. Come hungry!
The food was super tasty, our guide Eric was extremely well informed, and this was a great value for a 3 hour tour.
It was a great to get to know the end mile neighborhood and many of its local vendors. We enjoyed the group, food and history learned on our walk. Our tour guide Eric, was excellent.
Extremely knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Fantastic food stops! Be sure not to eat before hand.
An unforgettable food tour experience! Louis was an incredible guide—so knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. Every food stop on the tour was amazing, but Caffè Grazie Mille was the absolute highlight. The warm atmosphere, fantastic coffee, and delicious treats made it the best part of the entire outing. If you get the chance to take a tour with Louis, do not miss it!
Louis is a great storyteller and host for your food tour. Food was delicious and varied. Can’t wait to have another Montréal bagel
Come hungry, wear comfortable shoes, bring a bag in case you buy items in some of the store/restaurants. Enjoy many types of food: bagels, katopita, poutine, gnocchi, smoked beef sandwich, cannoli and Americana coffee.
Some highlights of the tour were the bagels and the pasta. The poutine and sandwiches were just ok. Tour guide was lovely and it's a great area to wander around. Recommended.
Lucia was a wonderful guide. She was knowledgeable and entertaining and managed the tour well. The food stops were great and we got to sample all the Montreal favourites. The group was filled with interesting and friendly people too. Highly recommend. You’ll love it !
Great option to get a "taste" of Montreal and to explore the area as well! Our guide was engaging and knowledgeable and all the food vendors were very welcoming and willing to share the history of their products. Make sure you go hungry!
Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Appreciated her smile and comforting personality.
Be careful when walking. I fell in a pothole. Food choices were great. Enjoyed the people in our group.
Éric was amazing!! Such a pleasure and a very knowledgeable guide. Everything we tasted was delicious and we learned a whole lot too! Would highly recommend.
Great tour. Eric was a great knowledgeable and well organised tour,
Fantastic tour with Eric. We got so much information and so much food! Everything was great.
Great walking tour through the Mile End neighborhood that really felt like getting our moneys worth in great bites. Simone was a great tour guide with all sorts of fun facts and great recommendations, and was very knowledgeable about Mile End and Montreal in general.
There was a nice variety of choices and they accommodated me as a vegetarian with no problem, the tour was a good pace and the guide Lucas was very nice and helpful. I would do another one of these in another city.
Great guide and great food! Was very filling. Do not eat before!
Michelle was energetic and engaging! The food was delicious.
Michelle was fantastic. Cool tour of the neighborhood with good bites
Interesting part of town but too many people for the size of the places we visited.
Georgia Chenier was really good , she was really sweet and we had a fantastic experience
More than just a food tour. 3 hours of history and food. Walking/area covered was not too onerous. Louis was entertaining, warm, and very knowledgeable. He was very generous with his time answering questions and sharing his history.
Very nice and tasty. Good information. Would recommend
Our guide Michele was exceptional! Great energy, very enthusiastic about the history of Mile End, the food, & the people!
Eric was an energetic and knowledgeable guide! Loved the stops and meeting interesting people along the way!
This was a Wonderful Gastronomic Experience. It was filled with fun facts and wonderful small family restaurants. To top it off Eric is a Great Guide who actually lives in the neighborhood and knows the best places to stop. A must do!
Really enjoyed this tour Eric was great Be sure to book early as we could not get the day we wanted
Darren was an excellent guide. The food was delicious. A great way to experience a part of Montreal.
Darren was an amazing tour guide who loves the community, and it is clear that the community loves him back! He was enthusiastic, kind, and answered all of our questions thoughtfully. The food was fantastic and well timed so that we were not waiting too long at each location. The perfect weather was an added bonus of course. One full stomach and two very happy thumbs up for the tour!
Great food tour with Darren - not just amazing food, but lots of good info on the area. Highly recommend for a delicious couple hours in Montreal.
Lucas was a great guide. While taking us to restaurants that provided a wide variety of ethnic and local specialties he also shared the history and interesting facts about the Mile End neighborhood. He gave us lots of suggestions of great places to eat while in Montreal. We sat down at a table at one place, at two we stood outside to eat and at the rest there was limited seating. This could be a problem for people who have difficulty standing for long times or if it is raining.
Loved every bit of this tour with Lucia. She had amazing facts about the area we were in regarding food and history. So pleasant and a great person.
I did this tour with a nice group. We had a variety of dishes to taste, but in addition learned a lot from our guide Lucas about not only the dishes but about Montreal, its history and present. Lucas had a lot of information and also interesting stories. I can really recommend this tour.
Luca was FANTASTIC! Your was perfect and well timed and locations chosen wisely. Highly recommend - esp with Luca - great your guide and so knowledgeable.
Lucia was charming and knowledgeable; incredibly pleasant.
10/10 for Mile End and the awesome Luca, excellent food and guide. The food was even better than I expected and Luca was a personable and knowledgeable host. Gave excellent recommendations for Mile End and Montreal. Thx!
We had an AMAZING time on this tour. Donna-Lynn was our tour guide and she was beyond great. She was so friendly and kind and made sure everyone was having a good time and was able to be accommodated at stops. We had a rainy day but it did not matter at all - Donna-Lynn made sure we had a great time regardless. The food on the tour was all incredible. There was not one food item that was sub par. There was a great selection of food, and everyone at the stops was also super friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a waking tour, or is just a foodie who wants to get to try multiple things around Montreal.
Excellent Montreal food tour - do not hesitate, book it! Lucas, our tour guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and organized. Loved the experience and variety of foods :)
Luka was an amazing guide - knowledge of food, area and history. The food was incredible!!
Had a great experience on this tour! Really nice to be able to try so many things in a short period of time instead of needing to get full portions of everything. Georgia was an awesome guide and kept the tour super interesting with lots of history about the food, Montreal, and Mile End.
Wish I could rate this experience, but, it never happened. We arrived at the meeting point more than 15 minutes early as instructed by the confirmation email the day before. We communicated with the tour company at the scheduled start time. After 20 minutes they responded “unfortunately, no guide had been assigned to your tour at this time”. When I sent a message that we would like a refund, they responded that the guide had been involved in an accident. They did provide a prompt refund.
You will not leave hungry! Eric was an excellent host. Truly the best food tour we’ve been on and we’ve been on many across the globe.
Amazing! Had a wonderful guide with Elle. Perfect for our kids age 7 and 10. Incredible food and knowledge. Such a great time!
