Fat Ebike Ride On Mount Royal

We had a great time on this tour. The views are beautiful. Riding through the snow is a really different and adventurous experience. David, our tour guide is really good at instructing on how to ride the bike and he's also a great your guide who will give you a lot of interesting information about the city. The ride lasted around 3 hours and was a magical experience while it was snowing. There are two places where we had an opportunity to rest and get a snack or drink. Dress warm, and just book this adventure. You will not be disappointed!

What a great way to see the park and ride a bike in the snow, where apart from walkers everyone else was skiing 🥶 - David was a great guide, full if info and spare hats, gloves and everything you need - do it!!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!! We had such a great time with David - despite the weather being >10 degrees Fahrenheit with intermittent snow. David got us comfortable on the e-bikes (we’d never done them), and even though it was slushy conditions in parts or packed snow and we had to navigate x-country skiers and bicyclists and runners we felt safe and confident following David’s lead. David even gave us history and cultural commentary throughout, so we learned a lot, too. David was awesome - highly recommend! And don’t let cold—a$$ weather deter you - it’s still possible to do the tour, and we ended up having David all to ourselves.

Everybody should see Montreal in the winter this way. What a unique experience that allows you to be active (or not!) and take in the fresh air and sights of Mont Royal! David our guide was absolutely fantastic; passionate about the experience and his city!

10/10 you must book this experience. 100% worth it for the views you get and the fun you have on this trip. Bikes were amazing to drive around as well. David (tour guide) is an amazing and the nicest guy you’ll ever meet!

Very unique and fun experience! David (sorry, I forgot to ask your name, I got it from other's reviews and hopefully it's correct.) told me the potential risks from the start, but I still decided to go ahead, because this was a completely new winter experience for me, and I didn’t want to miss it. However, although I’m usually experienced at cycling, I didn’t expect that the Fat eBike was a bit different and would be so challenging for someone who isn’t very tall (like me). But I am happy to say I've challenged myself! David helped me in a unique way, and I really appreciate that! I made the right decision doing this activity, and of course, it wouldn’t have been possible without David’s help. Thank you for your kindness, patience, and professionalism!

My boyfriend and I went on a e-bike adventure with David and have so many amazing things to say! He is extremely knowledgeable of the history of Montreal and Mont Royal! He’s also a great photographer. You will have an amazing time, extremely worth what you pay!! We plan to return to Montreal in the summer and will be bringing our friends back to explore with him again!!

OMG!! What an amazing tour!! It was freezing cold but what a blast!! We started out as a large group of 17, and David, our tour guide was amazing!! He was super patient and just all around a great guy!! David you rock and hope to see you next time we are in Montreal!!

It was -27 but somehow David to made this ride super fun. We had a good group willing to make the trek and make the most of the experience. There are stops provided to warm you up. I would definitely recommend the tour just dress prepared for the cold and you’ll be fine.

Brilliant 2hr ebike experience around Mount Royal. David is an excellent guide, knowledgeable and very friendly. We had a couple of stops along the way with beautiful views of the city. The trip was in deep snow but David guided me through it expertly.

You learn a lot about the city of Montreal. You ride with on both trails and street usually in bike lanes. Our guide, David, was wonderful directing us safely at every turn!

This was an incredible experience. David was the perfect tour guide. He made sure that we were all dressed warmly, because it was so cold - he even gave one of our group his own gloves to wear, and gave us balaclavas to put over our heads and face because we didn't pack that and he didn't want us to be cold. He gave very clear instructions about how to ride the bike and how we would proceed through the city to Mount Royale. He gave us lots of time for pictures, told us a lot of history and gave great recommendations for other things to do. I will absolutely take a tour with him again! We all loved it so much.

Great tour and fun way to see Montreal in the winter. Don’t be intimidated by the e bikes they’re easy to use. Highly recommend going on this tour.

Ebiking was a huge hit with our family. Our sons are 18 and 21 and it was their favorite part of the trip. If you have the right gear, the cold was not bad at all. David stops a couple of times so you warm up. He is an excellent guide and very knowledgable about the city.

I was the only one who showed up on the second coldest day or one of the coldest days there (5 degrees Fahrenheit/-15 degrees Celsius), but he still went through with it and offered a single-person ride up Mount Royal—it is very rare for someone to offer such kindness; most people would cancel. I highly recommend this tour. David is a passionate and professional guide who provided essential equipment to ensure everyone stayed warm throughout the journey. The e-bike was easy to ride and comfortable, though there were still chances of falling on snow-covered roads, but that's what made the adventure exciting. We began our adventure from the north side of Mount Royal Park, where a prominent statue stands. Our journey continued to an ice skating rink that offered restroom facilities and hot beverages. The highlight was reaching the observation deck, which offered a spectacular panoramic view of modern Montreal. The snow-covered scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and I look forward to experiencing different winter outdoor activities next time.

The ride was beautiful and pretty easy, and I am not terribly stable on a bike. The guide was very friendly and helpful with his instructions, tips, and fun facts about the area. Would recommend!

Great fun riding in the snow. Our tour guide was excellent and created opportunities for a fun ride despite varying levels of experience in our group.

While it was cold (about 40 degrees), we had no snow so you can rent a normal bike and easily see the the Park yourself. While David was a super great host, I was expecting to hear more history about the park and city. Also we spent much too much time taking 2 long breaks which provided access to indoor heat. Would have preferred more time on the bike seeing more attractions like St. Joseph Oratory or other spots in the city instead of spending about 40 minutes in breaks. No doubt having snow on the ground would have added to the biking experience, but definitely not worth US$65 for our non-snow experience.

David was a good guide. Focused on keeping us warm, safety briefing before setting off, and giving us the history of the area, best food etc. Mount royal was beautiful. Highly recommend this activity to anyone who can ride a bike decently. No effort required because it is an e bike. So long as you can balance well.

We were in town for the weekend and wanted to take in as much as possible. David’s bike tour of Mt. Royal did not disappoint! Inspite of the cold weather we had a great time exploring! David was always checking to make sure we were safe and comfortable. We stopped for a quick hot beverage in the park and saw all the sights. He is personable and made our tour extra special. Booked experience and received confirmation notices but on the scheduled day nobody arrived to lead the tour. Business was closed for renovations although a posted sign indicated that tours were still being led but nobody showed up. Very disappointed. Refund as provided promptly.

We had a blast riding the e-bikes around Mount Royal. Would have been a heck of a walk otherwise! David, our guide was super friendly and informative about the sites seen through the park and in the city. We had a bit of a hiccup initially when no one arrived at the meeting point at 10:30 as planned. But we reached out to the tour operator and they were quick to respond and reschedule us for 11:30 due to some unforeseen issues on their part. We went back and met in their building space which is being refurbished. Sadly, the other guests didn’t return, but lucky for us we got a private tour, and the weather ended up being beautiful. Great experience and we’re thankful it worked out. Would recommend. Ask for David. Cheers.

It was a great way to see the city and learn more about Montreal. I highly recommend it! The best part was to be outside and experience the city on wheels.

This ride was beautiful and exhilarating, the highlight of our trip to Montreal. Several people in our group had never ridden e-bikes before but it was not an issue - Dayvid's instruction and supervision ensured we were safe and having a great time. If you are looking for an outdoor activity in Montreal I cannot recommend this enough - the length of time is perfect and you are rewarded with the most incredible views along the trail and at the top of the mountain. DRESS WARMLY - especially your hands, feet, and face. Dayvid, you rock!

David made the experience super fun with all of his history knowledge of the area and let us stop to take pictures whenever we wanted. With it having just snowed, he was also very attentive and made sure we were always being safe.

The experience was quite good and the views were splendid. The guide was very nice. Also trying out the fat bike was a good time. My main criticisms is that the day was very cold and you had to bring your own hand and foot warmers. I think maybe the guide having a few extras just in case would help out on such days.

We went on David's ride on Mont Royal on a day when it was snowing -- and it was amazing! At first we considered canceling, based on the weather, but I'm so glad we didn't. David was the ultimate host and tour guide. He had the bikes ready and waiting for us, then also provided goggles, helmets, and snow cleats for our feet. We practiced on the bikes and then took off to the park. He provided extremely clear instructions for riding (we were a total group of 4), stopping, passing walkers, etc. Along the way we would stop and he would tell us more about the neighborhoods and areas we were going through. His pride in Montreal shines through and it was a pleasure to learn more about the city. The entire time he made sure we were both safe and having fun. He was the official videographer/photographer and so pleasant to spend time with. I would 150% recommend anybody to do this tour, even if it's snowing!

The guide was super energetic and it put the whole group in a good mood. He took into account the weather condition (ice) for us to have the best and safest tour.

Our Tour guide was excellent!!! He had a great attitude and was constantly instructing us during the ride. Although the conditions were icy, he kept us safe and made the experience enjoyable. This tour was fun and memorable for my family and I greatly recommend it.

The eBike tour was great fun! David, our guide, did an exceptional job. He was very knowledgable and personable and went above and beyond. The ride to the top was a blast. Because the fog prevented us from seeing the view from the top of Mount Royal, he offered to extend our tour to see parts the city, which our family did. The entire experience was fabulous. This was a great memory maker and so worth it. Highly recommend!

David was fabtastic- even though Mother Nature did not cooperate- super foggy day- he more than made up for it with an extended tour of the city! Bikes were easy to operate and so much fun!

My husband and I had a great time on the Mount Royal fat ebike tour with David. He gave us an overview of the ebikes and time to try them out and get used to them. He even made sure we still wanted to go, as the conditions were ice-y. We were in for it! The trail was beautiful with the morning light coming through the trees, and the views were amazing.
