Great guide and experience! Wonderful food and appreciated all the mini history lessons along the way! Thank you for a wonderful experience. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring your appetite.
Fantastic tour with Anne. She was knowledgeable, friendly and provided an overall wonderful experience that was the highlight of our stay in Quebec City.
Annę was a good guide. Four stops with an appetizer, fabulous onion soup, flambé finished with a Michelin rated meal restaurant and of course yummy dessert.
Best food tour ever!! Our guide Sam was very knowledgable about the city and its history. The food selections were outstanding!
This was a really nice experience. We chose the tour based on an emphatic recommendation from someone we know - not something that we would have normally chosen to do. All of the food was top notch, and the various restaurants were excellent. You're satisfied afterwards but not stuffed. Our guide, Marie, was lovely. You get a mix of history as you walk through Old Town and detail on the restaurants and why they were chosen.
Food/history tour was great! We’re only in Quebec City for two nights, so this was a wonderful opportunity to eat at some fabulous restaurants and learn about the city in a few hours time.
This was amazing! It was our first time in Quebec City and a real showcase for us. Restaurant selection was great and varied and food was wonderful and plentiful at each stop. Our guide Danielle was delightful and made the whole experience one we will always remember and highly recommend!
Excellent tour. Really good food. Guide was knowledgeable and personable .
Our guide Daniele was friendly and knowledgeable. Every food stop was amazing from the panzanella with wine to l’oignon gratinée with beer and flambée shrimp with wine and finally the wonderful Guinea fowl with puréed chokecherries and white chocolate mousse.
This tour was excellent. We learned a lot of interesting history and the food was so delicious. Sam was our guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, interesting, and so personable. Highly recommend his tour.
Our guide, Jocelyn, walked us around Quebec City sharing some of the history. She is friendly and personable and a delight to spend time with. We stopped at different restaurants along the tour and had some of the best food! I had never been on a food tour before. It was incredible. So glad I went.
Marie was great and the sites we visited were managed well and expecting the group - which was excellent. The food was good - no complaints, although when looking back, the tour was pricey.
The guide was so amazing. His fun grasp of history and modern society was entertaining and relevant. He was witty and sweet. The food tasting was delicious. I was very pleased with the attention to my allergies. Again, Serge knew his history and food.
Our tour guide was amazing. She was funny, knowledgeable about the local area and friendly to spend the afternoon with.
Would highly recommend this tour! First off, the food was excellent! Our tour guide, Danielle was very experienced, knowledgeable, funny, kept us on schedule without making us feel rushed. Was so much fun to experience 4 Quebec Old City restaurants with 5 courses. The walk was very easy to do also. Sooo glad we did this- even better than my expectations!
Our guide was awesome and we had a terrific time! (I’m just sorry to have forgotten his name!) He told us such interesting stories about Quebec history and entertained us all. The dishes we were served at each restaurant was delicious and we would go back to any of them again! Fun afternoon!
A really great “foodie” tour. Our guide, Serge, was very engaging and knowledgeable and his English was impeccable. The food selections and restaurants were chosen with care, and were varied. We sampled a tomato salad, French onion soup, flambéed shrimp, a wagu beef dish and a mousse (at a Micheline Star resturant), with accompanying wine and beer selections. We are not shrimp eaters and the tour was able to substitute a fabulous Caesar Salad and motzuella cheese specifically for us. An absolute great tour and tour guide. I’d highly recommend this tour.
We had a great time. Our guide, Pierre was knowledgeable telling us fun and interesting facts. All the food was delicious. Good pace, nice group of people too. I recommend this tour.
Wonderful tour! Our guide, Pierre, was interesting, informative and enjoyable to listen to. We went to four restaurants, each completely different. The courses started with the lightest, and the tour finished with a heavier, more substantial meal. The food was excellent and served with wine. No need for dinner that evening. The restaurants were interesting and architecturally diverse. Great adventure, especially for foodies!
Etienne took us to four wonderful restaurants and gave a fantastic tour around old Quebec City. He was very knowledgeable and fun to spend the afternoon with.
This is a “must do” when you are considering a visit to Quebec City! Danielle is an incredible guide who does a wonderful job of weaving the history of Old Quebec with a knowledge of the local food culture. The restaurants were fantastic!
I have been on many food tours. I'm so bad with names but I have to say our guide was amazing!! Great personality with more energy then me!! She was fun, knowledgeable and she was so nice!! Though the food tour was a little pricey, I found it to be worth the price. The portions were huge, the selections phenomenal and the restaurants were so appropriate for our place of travel. We even tried to get back into two of them for dinner the following night but they were booked. Just thinking of the items we ate my mouth is watering. It was really probably the best food I have eaten on a food tour and just fantastic food in general. I highly recommend this food tour!! Actually we just picked it by the details and recommendations on line. Really good Choice!! Can't say enough!!
Our guide Pierre was excellent. Great food experience. Very accommodating with dislikes of food. It was a very easy pace. The restaurant staff was very friendly and made sure we had a great experience.
Out tour guide Danielle was a great guide. She took time and care with our group. The food selections were absolutely fantastic.
This food tour was wonderful. Jocelyn was our tour guide. She knows Quebec’s history and shared a lot of good information with us. The food stops were excellent - included was a wonderful meal at a one star Michelin restaurant! I would recommend this to everyone!
This was an amazing tour - blending different foods of Quebec with wine and beer, and history of the city along the way. Marie was an excellent guide. Highly recommend. And make sure you are hungry - it is a lot of food.
Even though it was a very rainy day, our tour guide Jocelyn was wonderful, providing all sorts of details about history and architecture . And the food was excellent, catering the tastes of the entire group.
Gourmet food samples, Jocelyn was interesting and provided a lot of good information as we walked from place to place. They were also willing to make some adjustments to accommodate my food preferences.
Our tour guide Etienne was knowledgeable and shared interesting historical information. The restaurant choices were perfect! Each one served delicious food! There was enough food offered for an entire meal.
Daniela was great! Very knowledgeable and organized. Each of the food stops were great! It’s a wonderful balance of culture, cuisine, and history.
Come very very hungry! The food is delicious and the courses are very filling. The restaurants are all very different and very tasty. Our guide, Marie, was lovely and knowledgeable about both the history and the restaurant culture of Quebec and the city history. We had a great time, despite the wind and weather!
The four of us enjoyed the visit very much. Danielle was great. The food was exceptional. We would absolutely recommend this tour.
This was a wonderful food and history tour. Serge gave us a great food experience and So many facts about Quebec City.
This tour very much exceeded our expectations! Danielle was a great guide and the food was amazing! Danielle was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Quebec City!
Very accommodating to food allergies and dietary restrictions. Excellent variety of restaurants and authentic food.
We really love food. All our trips are planned to include fabulous dining experiences. This historic gourmet food tour with an essentially 5 course progressive restaurant-hopping “meal” was 10/10! Lynn was so nice and super knowledgeable. We learned so much about Quebec, Quebec people, and Quebec City’s history (and some extra history lessons!) The restaurants and food choices were on a whole other level than your usual food tour (which I am not knocking because we love those too)- but when they said gourmet, they meant gourmet! The food was so incredible!! And seeing Old Quebec City through Lynn’s eyes was such a beautiful experience. 100% recommend. A must do! I wish I could do it all over again!
The restaurants were all top notch! It was very relaxing, we never felt rushed . The tour guide was knowledgeable. He answered all our questions, and gave us great tips on what to see and do. The Chef at three of the four restaurants presented the food and told us about what we were eating. A great experience.
The tour was fabulous. My guide was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the places we ate and Old Quebec. We walked around Old Quebec between meals, allowing time for each meal to settle and learning about parts of Old Quebec. The restaurants were of high quality and all the food was delicious. Definitely worth it!
The guide was so knowledgeable and kept up the perfect pace! Plenty to eat but not too much food. Lots of fun!
We had a great time on this tour. We had a group of 9 with kids aged 15, 16, 17, 18 and 20 with us and everyone loved the gourmet food. Our guide, Lynn, did a wonderful job of explaining the history of the city and answering all our questions. A great way to start our time in Quebec City.
Amazing experience! Often times, a tour is as good as the tour guide in charge, and in this case, Sam could not have been more entertaining -- funny, energetic and full of great stories about Quebec City. During the three-hour tour, we enjoyed two appetizers, two entrees and one dessert in four excellent restaurants, along with wine (beer in one instance) in all, and I can say I would return to eat in all four places. The tour is pricey, but well worth the money, since it actually includes a full meal. They weren't kidding when they asked us to "come hungry." Highly recommended.
We had an amazing time with Lynn, as she was our guide for The Combo Historical and Food Tour of Old Quebec City. Lynn was very informative and the restaurants we dined at were top-notch! This tour is a bit pricey, but well worth the money.
The restaurants were wonderful and the food and wine were delicious. The small group allowed you to get to know the others on the tour and the guide. It was a great time. Lynn was so friendly and knowledgeable and the time went by t[ fast.
Lynn was a fabulous guide for this food & history tour. She's witty, knowledgable and was a wonderful guide to show us around the key historical spots and most amazing restaurants that Quebec City has to offer. We came hungry and left full and delighted. Highly recommend!
Delightful guide. All good and beverages included. Wine or beer at each stop. Food was wonderful. A great way to try a number of outstanding restaurants in Quebec City.
Tastings at 4 restaurants with either wine or beer pairing. For those who don’t drink, they offer mocktails. There is walking, but nothing too strenuous. A guide shares information about Quebec and the restaurants. I really enjoyed the tour and the food. I would recommend this for couples, friends, family or even singles. The people were friendly and it was enjoyable. Our tour guide, Luis was knowledgeable and entertaining. Definitely ask for him.
I had a wonderful time with my tour colleagues and our great guide who took us to some wonderful Quebec City restaurants. Really enjoyed the tour!
We had 5 fabulous courses at 4 restaurants along with historical walking tour. Danielle provided excellent history tour of Old Quebec and I learned things I would not have known on my own.
There are 5 tastings and 4 stops. It takes 3 hours. There is a lot of food. We came slightly hungry and left full. The highlights were: Carol, our guide, was from Quebec and had good info to share, the last stop was our favorite for food, the beer and wine tastings are a nice touch. The lowlights: It is a very slow moving tour, if you are elderly it might feel like a good pace, but it felt very slow for us (in our 40’s). The streets are very crowded and a lot of time is spent waiting for people to catch up, waiting to get into a restaurant and waiting for the group to gather in a quiet enough space to hear the guide talk. Overall: if you don’t know where to start on where to eat and don’t have a hotel Conceriege, plus have several days in town, this would be a good way to start the trip. If you only have a day or two, I’d spend it going to actual restaurants for an experience rather than a tour. This was my third trip and wanted to try something new. It was my husbands first trip and he liked it a lot. It is nice to check out several restaurants that you can go back to. We definitely left feeling full. The salad was nice, the onion soup ok, the shrimp flambé was not good (no flavor despite a big presentation), the steak had great flavor, but was tough. The dessert was excellent. We enjoyed the people we met, our guide and the info we learned.
