Fun, informative ,educational . A great value! Our guide Fran did a wonderful job of showing us the city of Montreal in a very professional, yet personable style. We loved the variety of experiences that included history, shopping and food and the many photo opportunities. Don’t miss Nelson Jardin for lunch!

Best way to get to know the highlights of Montreal. Fran was so knowledgeable and friendly. Gave us great information and really cared about her customers. The full day tour is the way to go!
We had a great time touring neighbourhoods and hearing about the history of people that live in them. The bagel stop was our favourite but we also enjoyed our walk through Jean Talon market. We had already visited the island, but our drive around the F1 track was a nice surprise. Fran took great care of us, made sure my daughter was comfortable and answered any questions we had. My husband was disappointed that he didn’t join us. We probably should have done this tour the first full day of our trip as it would have given us a good idea of where we could visit during our 5 days.
We had an excellent experience on our half-day tour of Montreal. It was the perfect way to discover the city from a more local perspective and gain a deeper appreciation for its history, culture, and unique neighborhoods. Our tour guide, Fran, was fantastic—knowledgeable, professional, friendly, kind, and courteous throughout the entire tour. Her passion for Montreal was evident, and she shared interesting insights and stories that brought the city to life in a way we would never have experienced on our own. This tour was one of the highlights of our visit. We loved all the stops, especially tasting the famous Montreal bagel shop and the drive on the F1 circuit. We left with a greater understanding of this beautiful city and many recommendations to explore further. We would absolutely take this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montreal. Thank you Ntours for this wonderful tour!
Informative and friendly guide. Enjoyable. More walking than expected but that was okay for our group. The food in old Montreal wasn’t that great. I would skip and take your own picnic.
My husband and I did the 7 hours tour with a break for lunch in the old town. We enjoyed it tremendously! Our tour guide Fran was fantastic. The first half was focused on well-known historic places while the second half provided a glimpse into local life in less touristy neighborhoods.
Our guide, Fran, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The visits were exactly the right amount of time and the tour was fun.
I did the full- day 8-hour tour, and I highly recommend it, especially for first time visitors, best done on your first day here. You’ll get a thorough understanding of the city and its people, food, and traditions. Don’t eat breakfast! One of your first stops is at a local Jewish bakery where you’ll get a whole bagel, famous in Montreal!
This was a very engaging tour. The guide was knowledgeable, informative, and provided us a great overview of Montreal.
The various areas of the city that represented different cultures were pointed out and history explained as well as seeing some history areas at the Olympic village. Jules was a great educated & informational tour guide and driver. He was extremely personable and showed us a wonderful time!!! Thanks Jules
Harold was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was a great overview of the city!
This was the first excursion we went on in Montreal. It's the perfect way to get to know the City. Tour was in a clean van and was uncrowded. Our guide, Harald, gave us a great tour with a lot of information. We stopped in spots long enough to get a feel for the various neighborhoods, and that made it easier to return to these places on our own later in the week. We had a blast. Highly recommended.
Great experience and knowledgeable guide! Free sampling of local treats on the trip provided by the guide!
Great way to get a "feel" for the city of Montreal. Our guide Harald had a great feel for the place with anecdotes and historical information that added to the experience. Highly recommended.
This tour was very nice. Started with a pickup at your hotel (excellent communication with Tour company setting it up the day prior to trip). Our ride was in a very comfortable van with clean windows and lots of space. Tour guide Monu (??spelling) was very nice and cordial. The selected visits along the way were excellent... perfect start at the famous St Viateur Bagel Shop.. the tour moved on visiting many excellent locations (see tour descriptions). Our tour ended with our guide driving us back to our hotel. In all, I found this Montreal Tour to be very worthwhile and highly recommended.
Excellent tour. I would highly recommend this tour to get a history of the different cultures that make up Montreal.
This was my favorite tour during my trip to Montreal! Harald, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and charismatic and made this tour well worth the price. We explored many neighborhoods and sites, and despite the cold, Harald didn't cut any corners. We did the 7 hour tour which took just a bit longer due to the weather, but it was well worth it! Highly recommend this tour, especially for those who don't have much time in Montreal and want to see a little bit of everything with a knowledgeable guide who truly loves his job and the subject matter.
My tour guide was just awesome. He communicated with everyone well and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable with him, he seems very knowledgeable about the city. I wish we had seen more of the Underground, everything else was fine but the tour itself is very pricey for what you get. I would recommend more reasonable options that are similar to this tour.
This is a great tour to see the different neighborhoods. Very informative guide and some great local food tastings. Would recommend.
David tge tour Guide knew everything about the city old and new was fun interesting and a great driver.
I love the customer service offered by Mounir of NTours. The original Montreal Night Tour we had reserved was cancelled because there weren't enough participants. He offered to change our reservation to the Montreal Intercultural City Tour. We lucked out! It was not only a great, informative tour, but our guide - Harald - was fun and knowledgeable. There were only five of us in this small group tour, which offered a unique personalized experience.
During our afternoon tour of Montreal, there was an torrential downpour in the city. David, our tour guide, was able to change the itinerary to defeat the weather. Less walking, more riding. While highly knowledgeable, he was also entertaining. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Our guide, Mounir, was so competent, interesting and full of information. We asked to get a feel for this beautiful city and he really delivered! From the Oratory to Expo, Chinatown to Little Italy, delicious bagels to the Underground, we saw it all. Lots of history, current events, insights, he was a wonderful guide and driver. Thank you!
There was only one other couple, so we got to ask a lot of questions. The tour guide was friendly and informative and took us to the sites we were interested in. He had a little step stool for helping us in and out of the van and offered us each a bottle of water. It was a good mix of walking and riding in the van. It was interesting to see and learn about the different ethnic neighborhoods and other areas of the city (Mile End, LePlatea, the Underground, etc). At the end of the tour he offered to drop us off as close to possible to the areas we wanted to revisit. Highly recommended. I would recommend that the guide clean the windows of the van. Ordinarily I wouldn’t mind, but this is a sightseeing tour. So for that reason I would rate him a 4.5.
Knowledgable guide, he was excellent in describing the diverse ethnic neighborhoods. We covered much ground in a few hours.
Wonderful and friendly guide who was so knowledgeable about the different areas of Montreal. Fun to see so many different neighbourhoods.
This tour is our second tour (3 hours tour) after small-group sightseeing tour. After this two tours, it gave us hindsight of Montreal. As a small group tour, Mounir was able to give a sort of personalized tour. His knowledge on the history & culture of Montreal is terrific.
Mourir was an amazing ambassador for Montreal. He is passionate and has lots of interesting facts to share. We did this tour on a first day here. Would absolutely recommend doing this tour first to get a good idea of where to go next/later. So appreciated him kindly squeezing us into the tour. Thank you Mounir.
We did both the morning and afternoon city tour. Was an excellent overview of the city. The tour was informative. The driving/walking sections and breaks were nicely spaced. The car was comfortable and water was offered. Had an enjoyable day.
Had an amazing time. The your guide was so helpful and friendly. We learned so much about Montreal and got to see a lot of the city.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Mounir. We are both familiar with Montreal but we saw and learned things we never knew. Mounir is a great tour guide, knowledgeable and personable. Thanks for a great day!
I combined the Montreal in a nutshell tour in the morning with this tour in the afternoon. The pace of the tour allows you to see all the main attractions and some hidden gems. I chose this tour based on previous reviews of the tour guide, Mounir, and he exceeded my expectations. Mounir goes out of his way to deliver the best experience.
beautiful artwork! safe and clean area. stores and eatery are plenty for travelers on a budget. one of the few paintings around.
I was in Montreal for work and only had 1 day of the weekend to explore the city. With the freezing temperature, walking around and exploring stuff on my own wasn't an option. This tour is a perfect solution for such so situation. The pick up and drop was smooth, the guide touched all the key attraction in the first 3 hours with detailed history of each. We were given sometime time to walk around and take pictures as well. I took a full day tour and enjoyed the next half more. He took us to diverse neighborhoods, famous bagel stores, huge farmers market and The Plateau where we walked around for a while. Perfect experience of complete Montreal in a nutshell.
My husband and I were in Montreal and was staying only for 3 nights, we wanted to get to know the City and booked this tour. Mounir was excellent! He answered all our questions and treated us like long time friends visiting the city for the first time. It was a great and full day.
This was a lovely afternoon tour with Mounir which carried on from the Montréal in a Nutshell tour in the morning. I absolutely recommend both to make a good day of sightseeing around Montreal as there is so much to see. Mounir is a wonderful guide and the afternoon included a lovely stroll around Old Montreal and a visit to a maple co-op where you can learn more about maple production and product tasting plus a maple ice cream! The many cultures and districts which comprise this beautiful city are fascinating to understand and in how Montreal came to be as cosmopolitan as it is. Another favourite-a delicious warm and fresh bagel from the oven with cream cheese. I thoroughly recommend this tour with the knowledgeable Mounir - a wonderful day!
If you are looking for an amazing intercultural experience in Montreal, you should try this City Tour. Mounir is a wonderful guide. He is aswell a careful driver, shared interesting facts about the city, well-organized with time and stops at important places, and made the whole-day tour full of enjoyable tastings (including delicious bagels, maple butter, and ice cream). Yes! Your will relish warm and delicious bagels as a special part of the 6-hour tour. Trust me, all the visits and tastings are worth it!
we did the 7-hour tour. the guide Fran was great! we saw parts of Montreal that we would not have seen if we had not been motorized. the Bagel stop was a plus, just like Saint Joseph's Oratory and the Canada circuit. we were 3, a couple with a 16-year-old teenager
