Matt was terrific. Lots of energy and passion for Old Montreal at Christmas! And he kept it interesting in spite of brutal wind and LOW temps.
Our guide, Matthieu, was absolutely fabulous!!! The mix of history, humour and all-round joviality was the perfect blend. I would happily do more tours with him! Merci si beaucoup!
Educational and informative tour with interesting tidbits about the history of Montreal and its set-up. Our guide was Francois.
Stamatia Kafoutis, our guide, was great--informative of history, architecture, and local activities.
Our guide Dave was knowledgeable and interesting. He gave us wonderful history and tidbits about Montréal and Christmas traditions in his city. We walked through beautiful areas with lights and he encouraged us to see certain areas no included in this tour. Christmas walking tour was a lot of fun and a great way to get in the spirit!
Our tour guide was very informative, she kept the tour really interesting. We learned a lot of the history of the history from what happened to the women when the city began.
Very knowledgeable guide who had great stories about Christmas in Montreal throughout history. She was also very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of buildings in Old Montreal
The history Meeting new friends The snow The guide Spending time with my daughter The drinks after The lights
Good historical walk with some gems of information but not too much Christmas focus. Guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
Lovely lighting for the holidays on so many buildings- I would like to go for a more historical tour; to learn about the old buildings and have an opportunity to enter them….if possible.
We loved our walking tour of Old Montreal...we saw things we would have never come upon, noticed, or visited...and our guide, Pierre, was great and patient with us... we learned to dress very much for the conditions outside as it is mostly outside... we'd definitely recommend it!
It was an AWESOME tour Christmas Walking Tour in Old Montreal. Tonight Dec 20/19. We were late as we got lost and our Guide was kind and treated us well. My name is Hazel Reid and had my daughter & her son and her daughter & partner and baby. We all fully enjoyed the time he spent with us and explaining things over and over. Hopefully I can come to Montreal and get a daylight tour I want to see so much more. Loved, Loved it
My friends and I did this walk in the evening on December 7th and we had a great time! We were in and out of several buildings, so the cold was not a problem. Isabelle, our guide, gave the tour in English, and she checked to make sure everyone was comfortable and having a good tour. She was always open to questions and comments, and was very informative, and also very engaging and entertaining. We arrived at the location a few minutes early, and two guides arrived because 27 people had reserved the tour! I was pleased that they broke us up into small manageable groups - good planning on their part! All in all, this was a very successful evening, and I'll be looking for other options from this company for my next visit to Montreal.
We were looking for an interesting tour of Old Montreal that would highlight the Christmas atmosphere of the city. Our tour guide, Pierre, did a superb job incorporating the history of Montreal with the lights and traditions of the Christmas season! Merci Pierre - très bien fait!
Pier was excellent tour guide He took care of us Made sure we know all the information about each place Higly recommended tour I learnt alot about montreal . Good Job
It was great to learn about the architecture, history, and some of the flavor of old Montreal. Our tour guide presented clearly and answered questions. The night was quite cold and the tour was mostly outside, She was creative in finding a warmer interior when we were all half frozen! The one thing that was a bit misleading was the title (Christmas Walking ...) and attached holiday image. The tour was perhaps 50% of that and 50% history. Well done but we expected more of the holiday end of things.

Great tour! You learn a lot about Old Montreal and seeing it at Christmas Time was magical.

I was disappointed in this, it was more a walking tour of Old Montreal showing you architecture and history which just happened to be at Christmas. I felt the tour description was misleading and was too early in the season as the guide said a lot of the Christmas stuff was not up yet.
If this had been sold as a nighttime walk in the old town, I would still have taken it but as I say it was misleading.

The tour guide Pierre was informative and knowledgable but even he struggled to fill the time.

Make sure you have the correct meet location on ticket

I did this tour December 7th.
The guide was pleasant, however did not tell us that the craft market we ended up in front of was closed until we were standing in front of it at the end of the tour.
I had read the advertisement that said we ended up at the craft market and were looking forward to this

A wonderful way to explore Old Montreal during the holidays! Though it was a bitterly cold night (-14c!) our guide made the tour possible by keeping us inside as much as possible. We explored the historic shopping arcades and beautiful buildings of Montreal and learned about the history of Christmas and the influence of the church in this fascinating region of Canada. Our guide was informative, friendly and fun - we even finished the tour with some delicious cheese and wine! Thoroughly recommended.

A Marvelous tour showing many places with Christmas Decoration and to finalize it we had cheese and wine !
Very Professional and enjoyable.
Note : this tour is not for everyone - you have to keep up the pace

The guide was knowledgeable and provided numerous anecdotes; tour dominated by architecture mostly of former banks. The tour ended in a gift shop at Bonsecours. It would have been interesting to include some explanation of First Nation and other traditional crafts that were on sale at the shop.

Parfait, une belle visite du vieux Montréal avec une guide très compétente. C’est un incontournable lors d’un séjour pour comprendre l’histoire de la ville et du pays. Je recommande vivement
We did this family tour during the holidays, it was one of the only activities allowed due to the health restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The guide was passionate, generous and very interesting. A great way to learn about our city, even for Montrealers!
We loved our tour of Old Montreal with an emphasis on Christmas. Our guide Isabelle was super nice and knowledgeable. A superb tour of the history of Christmas, Christmas decorations in the Old Town and the history of Montreal. We really enjoyed being a tourist in our own city. The children were well received and liked the visit even if it was quite cold!
Strolling through Quebec City is really pretty, and it still reminds us of our sweet France, with its cobblestone and narrow streets, its beautiful architecture... to do of course!
