Lynne was amazing. A fountain of knowledge, very passionate and a great sense of humour. She led us confidently around, knew all the restaurant owners, and gave us lots of extra tips to help us enjoy the rest of our time in the city. The food and drink were 5*. Will highly recommend!

Great experience! Food and drink were fantastic. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys great food.
What a fabulous night! The food and history tour was planned and executed perfectly. Our guide was Serge. He was funny, interesting, flexible and so knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!
Oh my! The best food and lots of it! We had a stroll through beautiful gardens and neighborhoods as well. Our guide Jacque entertained us with great stories of Quebec and other parts of Canada. Definitely recommend this tour! Come hungry for sure!
This was a great way to explore just outside of the old city…Marie was knowledgeable in the history of Quebec and the local neighborhood that we explored. The food was incredible-so much so that we returned on another evening to one of the restaurants to re-experience one of the dishes again. It was worth the cost to have such good food (not small portions either and accompanied by a glass of of wine or cocktail as part of each meal).
Really a great tour and an excellent way to get to know the Quebec restaurant scene.
We were given a meeting place and walked around a quite large area in an unfamiliar location. The tour operator apparently tried to call me but I had no reason to have my phone on loud. So it was a bit of time before we found our tour guide. The tour itself was very fun and delicious! Luis, our guide was very fun and helpful. We really connected with the family in our tour group and plan on keeping in touch!
Our tour was on a Tuesday night in April — I booked it for my birthday. As luck would have it, my husband and I were the only ones, so we had a private tour. The food was excellent, the restaurants were fabulous, and our guide was wonderful. We had fascinating discussions throughout the evening —not just about the food, but about the history of women’s rights in Quebec and the political structure of the province and the current relationship between Canada and the U.S. It was a great birthday experience! Highly recommended
Our tour guide, Luis, was fantastic and we were stuffed and content by the end of this food tour. It’s so worth it. Must try!
Great food tour. Étienne was a great guide - good spirited and full of love for his city and its food and drink. Tour was in English but he will switch into French if you want to work on vocabulary.
Best food experience in a progressive dinner you could have asked for! The information as well as the food was beyond expectation and the guide gave us some incites we probably never would experienced any other way or on any other tour! One of the highlights of our stay in Quebec and reason we come here! Especially because it was a private tour and the attention we got was incredible Thank You Sam!
Sam our tour guide was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure our food preferences were addressed. We enjoyed this new tour, especially as it took us outside the old town to some very fine restaurants.
Sam has to be The BEST at what he does!! He was so knowledgeable and sweet and funny!!! Loved him and this was my best experience in the city as I learned so much and enjoyed the best food and company
This was a great way to get a little history plus explore some great restaurants. Lynn was super knowledgeable and made it a great tour
Our dinner food tour of old Quebec was made exceptional by our well informed and story telling guide, Lynn. Overall it exceeded expectations, food at each restaurant was excellent and the service overall was great. We had a good walking tour as we went from each restaurant.
This tour was a highlight of our trip to Quebec City. Food was outstanding. Wine pairings were nice. Each restaurant was an experience and I would revisit. Our guide Danielle was both educational and very friendly.
Danielle was excellent tour guide and easy to communicate with. Great background and easy walking tour. Plenty of time to chat and digest between presentations.
This is very fun and a great experience for food lovers.Restaurants were unique and beautiful. The food was top notch, and they could accommodate a difficult food allergy.
We would highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves food and history. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable. When we first met, He explained where we would go during the evening. He explained a lot of the history of buildings in the area including the history of the restaurants we visited. OH! And the restaurants on our stops were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly staff and outstanding food and drink.
Great tour. Danielle was excellent. Definitely go hungry. We visited 5 great restaurants and the food was superb st each one. We’ve done a few food tours around the world and this was probably the best. Highly recommend.
It was primarily a food tour with not much walking- but it was raining so that probably impacted the amount of walking. The food/wine was excellent. My food preference for no mushrooms was accommodated without my asking. Danielle was an excellent guide.
This tour was top notch! Lyn was a fantastic guide with so much knowledge!! The brief history tour was very informative. This is an area of the city none of us had explored before so there was a lot to take in. The food was spectacular and extremely well curated. We loved that each restaurant had its own story and the attentiveness of the staff resulted in a VIP experience. I highly recommend the tour as well as Emilie for coordinating any other excursions you may want to do while visiting the city.
Great tour and very fun! An interesting and personable guide. Owner is responsive and accommodating. We visited four restaurants on restaurant row in Quebec city. Great to experience where the locals go for drinks, dinner, and fun. The first restaurant had a live band and each restaurant after that was unique in terms of the decor and tastings. The food was delicious and plentiful. I don’t believe the food was “traditional” French Canadian but more trendy like most big cities. (Special accommodations for vegetarians was no problem! Non-vegetarians were just as happy!) Various good wines served at each stop. We learned a lot about French Canadian heritage and culture. Highly recommend!
Fantastic food tour in Quebec City. There’s simply not enough time to try all of the flavors of the city one by one — so doing so in this food tour is a phenomenal way to do so. Was incredibly lucky to hit highly rated venues with marks that are almost impossible to maintain elsewhere all within walking distance of each other. Having exploratory others along for the journey was lovely as well.
I would, and plan to, recommend this experience to anyone and everyone traveling through Quebec City. Our tour guide, Denis, was kind, informational and so passionate about his love for Quebec and it truly trickled down to us. It was freezing and snowing but if I could go back I would do it 1,000 times again. The wine was excellent, food was phenomenal, and the lessons learned and insight Denis gave to us regarding history, current political and social standings in Quebec, along with many suggestions around town was a once in a lifetime experience. To anyone traveling to Quebec City... do this tour!! Worth every penny!! Great for the beginning of the trip to get insight to plan for the rest of your stay. Thank you, Denis and the rest of Chelsea’s team. We appreciate the wonderful experience.
The four of us had Marie all to ourselves. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us suggestions for the rest of our trip. The food stops were close to each other, so it did not require a lot of walking. They included off-the-beaten-path highly rated restaurants that we tourists wouldn’t have tried ourselves. Wine served at 4 of the 5 stops with coffee and sweets at the last. Plus a bonus ferry ride for a view of the port and city from the river. We had a great time.
This tour was a disappointment in that we thought being a food tour it would include stops at uniquely Quebec eateries while learning about local history. While the food was decent at all five locations, it was nothing special or specific to Quebec City or its French/English history. We stopped at an Italian restaurant for caprese salad (hardly revolutionary) a modern, organic veggie salad (which was delicious), charcuterie board, and ice cream/sorbet (which was actually a return trip to a different side of stop #2). The main course was an Iatalian veal dish which was good but we were rushed to make it to the ice cream shop and had little time to enjoy it whilst still wishing for a dish more native to the area. Even though we rushed through the last two courses we missed the ferry ride across the river with what are promised to be the best views of Chateau Frontenac. To take a later ride would have been pointless since it was getting too dark. The historical information gathered was great, but if we wanted just history we couldh ave done any one of a number of walking tours for just that. All in all, not worth the build up or price.
It was great experiencing different things that we would not have normally done. The guide showed us many historical things about Quebec.
We had a great guide Jean Marc who toured us around lower Quebec City, stopping at five gourmet restaurants for parts of a progressive meal. Not a bad one in the bunch. JM was very knowledgeable but didn’t overdo it on the facts, it was perfect. It was a lovely afternoon and we would definitely use this company again. Highly recommend.
We visited 5 restaurants,Enjoyed great wine, met new people.A great way to see so many restaurants Best deal ever
Good for kids our son is 4 Not too much walking and restaurants close together Ferry at the end Jocelyne was fantastic our tour guide Very organized as well as knowledgeable about Quebec City Accommodating to our son and he was holding her hand the whole time Food was the best ever!!! It was for our 10 year wedding anniversary We had a private tour because tonight she didn’t have any other couples Sign up you won’t regret it one bite ! Ha ha!
We were expecting a large group but it was just the four of us. Our tour guide Jocelyne was absolutely excellent. Her knowledge of the city and the restaurants were exceptional. We had a great time, the food was wonderful and we would highly recommend this tour!
Super choice of restaurants! We discovered wonderful restaurants that are now on our list for our next visit. The tour was very well organized and interesting, not to mention the generous portions of food. The tour also moves away from the more touristy section of Old Quebec.
It was a great experience and a very beautiful way to discover Quebec City. The meals were excellent! We recommend!
An extraordinary team listening to our needs. A guided tour focused on customer and satisfaction where every little detail takes us back in time. Restaurants with an A1 service. The choice of menus is absolutely delicious. And what about the atmosphere of the Grande-Allée that makes us forget the time. Congratulations to the owner, Émilie Pelletier, who manages to convey her love of Quebec City, who cares about the well-being of her clients and who knows how to surround herself with people of great qualities. I recommend without any hesitation ❤️
I highly recommend this tour!! We had Marie Côté as our guide and she is more than amazing. She takes the time to talk to us about the city with passion, answer our questions and made us laugh. Growing up in Quebec City, I never expected to learn so much about our history. The restaurants selected were all more amazing than the last, they were tasty and the portions were perfect. No two dishes were alike! We were well received in each restaurant, we were presented with the restaurant, the dish served and the beverage that accompanied it. The atmosphere of the main alley is very pleasant. This is a street we rediscovered with such a beautiful selection of restaurant! The owner Émilie of HQ Tourist Services is very attentive and talented. Thank you for making us live this wonderful gastronomic tour!
