Other travelers should know that this is an easy walking tour. I use a cane and I had no trouble whatsoever. The choices for food tasting were outstanding. I realize food is an individual choice, but the food that they served us in every restaurant was remarkably good, and everyone in our small group enjoyed it. It was well worth the money and definitely didn’t need dinner, nor should you have eaten lunch beforehand; the guide was knowledgeable an extremely pleasant. They made a commendations for me. by allowing me to meet them at the first restaurant rather than go all the way out of my way from the hotel. I have been on multiple food tours in many different countries, but by far this was the best.
Guide was very knowledgeable and easygoing. Food was excellent at every stop. Particularly enjoyed the shrimp.
Terrific restaurants and an excellent guide who provides historical tidbits about Quebec City and its people
Food was amazing. Would have liked more history about old Quebec City.
Danielle is a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. The restaurants and menu choices were superb and better than expected. The tour was also an excellent walking tour of Old Quebec.
Food was great and Pierre gave us a lot of history along the way! The walking was very easy to navigate and we also took the funicular
We loved the food tour. Our guide, Pierre, was excellent and so knowledgeable and the restaurants were exceptional. Highly recommend this tour!
Our tour guide Danielle was excellent. Danielle provided interesting information on Quebec City, and she managed to keep everything on track while dealing with challenging circumstances. The afternoon of our tour coincided with the arrival of four large cruise ships which caused huge crowds and lineups, making it difficult to navigate, but Danielle persevered and kept everything on track. My only criticism is that while the food was very good, portions were small, and wine pairings, while good, were miniscule in volume given the price we paid. I expected better value, similar to if you ordered haut table with a five course dinner in a single restaurant. I say this because we revisited some of the restaurants later in our trip, and found portions and wine pairings more generous.
We had a marvelous time. Our guide was excellent - personable, fluent in both English and French, knowledgeable about Quebec culture and history as well as about each of the restaurants. She made it fun! And the food was delicious and staff at each of the restaurants were gracious and very welcoming.
Absolutely FANTASTIC! Sam was probably the most knowledgeable Tour Guide we have ever encountered. He was so kind, knowledgeable, funny and all-around lovely. We learned so much and the food was spectacular. We dined in Michelin restaurants as well as other little hidden gems. Would 100% recommend this Tour.
The blend of history and excellent food was perfect. Really enjoyed the guide, and the walking portion was not too strenuous.
Fantastic food and fun history tour. Amazing five course meal, great restaurants and some fun histoical facts along the way.
This was a fantastic tour, and all the food tastings were delicious. Our guide, Danielle, did a great job of giving us little tidbits of history along the way.
A must tour while in Quebec City! Food & drinks fabulous and Anne was very informative and answered all our questions & more! We ended at a Michelin star restaurant!
We had a great experience. Great food coupled with wonderful insight by our guide Sam. Each course was better than expected.
Amazing tour that provided us with great Historical information in between 5 delicious Gourmet food courses. Anne was our fabulous guide who was so knowledgeable, fun, kind and personable. I would recommend taking this tour when you first arrive in Old Quebec City as our tour guide also recommended great places to still take advantage of visiting, things to do and great restaurants.
Excellent walking tour of the city with stops where we were able to learn interesting details about Quebec's city, then stops for amazing dishes at 4 restaurants (2 dishes at the last). Big portions. Come hungry. Would definitely book this again.
I wanted to write this review about our trip to Orleans(Ann) as well as the walking 5 course walking tour(Danelle). These two tours were impossible to improve on. The very best tour guides, the very best experience. The sights, the food, the experience was 10/10. If you are on the fence about either-don’t be. Take the tours! Spend the money for both!! I just cant tell how amazing these tours and guides are. They made a great trip…perfect. You will never regret doing these things. If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would. I truly loved these experiences and so did my husband. Made our anniversary trip( and it takes a lot for me to write a review) I called the company to have them send me a link so I could write this because it didn’t automatically come up .
Worth every penny! The food and drink was wonderful. Each stop was a unique experience and very different setting. The entire afternoon was just as described and our host was great!
Sam was a fantastic guide, blending history, politics, local lore and food and culture into an entertaining and informative tour. The restaurants were excellent and the food portions were very generous.
Danielle was our fabulous, funny and informative guide. All of the food was excellent! Wonderful tour!
We had a great time with Étienne. The food was fantastic and I loved that we basically got a full meal rather than just a tasting. The walking tour between courses was a great way to prep for the next dish and get a little local history too.
Excellent tour fantastic restaurants and amazing meals !! Pierre was an excellent guide. Come hungry, you won't be disappointed!!
We enjoyed the restaurants chosen for us! A nice surprise! Our guide went out of her way to make sure she took us to fabulous restaurants and gave us a history lesson along the way. We enjoyed the people on the tour as well!
Fabulous! Thiis is the first time we signed up for a food tour anywhere, and we did it because the menu looked great for both of us. It was the perfect mix of walking enhanced by our Quebecer tour guide, Marie’s, local history and cultural iinformation plus food and refreshment breaks. Every food course was fantastic! Most people in our group, including us, made reservations again at some of the restauants. We would have gone back to all of them if we’d had time. This was definitely the BEST way to experience the culture and history plus eat your way through Old Quebec!
Pierre L. was an amazing tour guide who shared the history of Quebec City during the 4hrs with him sampling food at four excellent restaurants. This is one of the best curated food tours that my wife and I have taken. Highly recommend.
This was a fantastic guided tour with a personal touch by our guide, who regailed us with historical tidbits and cultural insights. The food was very good and well chosen to give a nice variety. Overall, a wonderful time!
This was such a great way to walk some of the city and get exposed to some terrific restaurants. The food was excellent and I enjoyed learning more about the city from our guide who was fantastic! Thank you vm for a fun afternoon.
Excellent way to experience amazing restaurants! Including Michelin star! Less history, more food, which was OK with me.
What a charming, beautiful city. Walking along the cobblestone streets and hearing about Old Quebec with our wonderful guide, Marie, was fantastic. She was so enthusiastic about her lovely city. My husband and I went on this tour on our pre-wedding night and had the best time. The food choices were impeccable and everything was so delicious. From a seemingly simple salad to a warm bowl of French onion soup, we enjoyed every last bite. Quebec City will always be special to my husband and I, and this tour just added to our happy memories. We cannot wait to return.
Come hungry! Very knowledgeable guide! Excellent food including Michelin location! Would go back to each location!
Come hungry. You will get full. We’ve done tours in other cities where we had small bites at all the stops. This tour ends up being a full meal for sure.
Wonderful tour! Fabulous food stops and an engaging and informative guide, Pierre. Highly recommend.
The guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and the choices were interesting and welcomed. I do have a celiac disease and some of the restaurants were prepared. I did have to clarify with servers about my allergy and twice was given food that wasn't gluten free. Thankfully it was sorted before I ate.
Sam was an outstanding guide, full of knowledge, super nice and passionate about Quebec city. Food and drinks were incredible - lots of it - and we really enjoyed the variety. Highly recommend!
This tour was so much fun! When we weren’t laughing, we were eating delicious food! Our guide, Luise, was interesting, funny and knowledgeable! One of the best food tours I’ve ever been on. I highly recommend it!❤️
Anne was a wonderful and very informative quite both about the food and history. The food was varied and interesting. I particularly liked the flambe at the Continental and the Wagu with mushrooms at La Clan. The only negative was the wine at La Clan which was from a local producer. I think it was probably a "natural" wine maker. The wine was cloudy. The bouquet was unpleasant and the taste was sour. It damaged the dish it accompanied. I would have expected a much better wine in a Michelin stared restaurant.
Danielle was an excellent guide on the historical aspects of Quebec City and the culinary delights of some of the best restaurants (including a Michelin star one) We thoroughly enjoyed it!
Danielle was fun, knowledgable, took us to great places to eat- highly recommend this tour- great way to try a Michelin star restaurant and more. Our first stop had to die for burrata salad with fresh tomatoes- Ill be dreaming of that for a while.
Etienne was a wonderful guide. You need to go hungry to this tour because you are getting a 5 course gourmet meal. The city info was great and the restaurants were lovely. This is worth every penny!
We booked this tour wanting to learn more about Quebec City’s history and experience the food options. This tour did not disappoint. The food options were amazing, the French Onion soup was the best I have ever had and every dish was delicious. The tour was well paced, the guide was informative and knowledgeable and the group was only people in total which made it a very personal experience. Would highly recommend!
This was an absolute highlight of our time in Quebec. We did this as an anniversary treat and we were so glad we splurged a bit. Pierre was our guide and he was wonderful. All the restaurants had unique vibes, delicious food and great drinks. If you're wanting to have a special date night in the city, this is the tour to do.
Excellent knowledge and great restaurants with great food on tour. Guide was excellent with good knowledge of Quebec.
If you like high rated foods , this is for you. Not only do you get the best foods, you also get a tour of city. Sam our guide was so knowledgeable.
The best! Great food, and service. Not rushed. Good information and history. Wonderful restaurants. Can’t say enough, would do again in a second.
The tour was great and so was the guide. Food was amazing. If you are hungry afterwards, it's your fault. Would do it again.
Sam, our tour guide, was great! The food was amazing at each of the restaurants. We would definitely recommend this food tour.
The evening tour started at 2pm ?? Our guide was a nice enough guy. - but pretty uninterested - not a lot of chat about Quebec and history. Would have liked more. Three of the four restaurants we visited were average at best. Felt like tourist traps.. they were all empty (probs because it was 2pm ???) the exception was Le Clan - which has a great story and the staff member hosting us was new to his role. - but very knowledgeable on wine. It was Ok…. But not for the expense.
My husband and I went on this tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are foodies. The tour started at an Italian restaurant where we had a delicious salad, then in our next location we had French onion soup. Both great, but the last 2 stops were phenomenal. The food at the Continental and the dessert at Le Clan were out of this world. Wonderful tour
