Wow what a stunning hotel! The lobby is gorgeous with all its floral accents. The location of the hotel itself is perfect for eating, shopping and exploring. Each room is beautifully curated for luxury and bliss. It was a well thought out and executed hotel. The service received 4/5 stars only because check in was slow but other than that it was a seamless experience and I would 10/10 recommended to anyone visiting MTL to stay here. Oh - very high tech and great view as well!
We had so much fun during our stay!!! The pool and sauna was amazing, service was top notch, everyone was friendly and welcoming. We loved the bars ❤️ we will be definitely staying here again next time we visit Montreal. Don’t worry about the shower glass , it is not visible and you also have a curtain if you don’t feel comfortable. Love it ❤️
I was underwhelmed by my stay at this Marriott property. There was a long wait at check-in while the one front desk agent was dealing with an issue of some guests. It took a while before another agent came to help. As a gold member, a room upgrade is an expected (though not guaranteed) benefit, and although they did not upgrade my room, I would have appreciated some other gesture. The room itself was unremarkable with an awkward layout. The closet and safe were in the bathroom. There were no slippers in the room. Minor detail but the curtains were manually controlled as oppose to a button and only one side of the bed had controls for the lights. There were specific towels in the room to be used at the pool with the expectation that they are brought back to the room. No towels were available by the pool. The kitchen for room service closes at 10:30pm (though the restaurant stays open until 11), and I called at 10:25pm to place an order and was told the kitchen was already closed. I understand it was already late but where is the line drawn for closing earlier than the listed time? Overall it was a fine experience, but I would not return for my next Montreal visit. Also the nightly parking price is fairly reasonable, but do note that the garage is rather small and tight.
I loved our stay here! The hotel is beautiful and in such an accessible area. The bed was comfortable and the rooms felt spacious for two people. We took advantage of the gym, spa pool, sauna, and terraces while we were here, and it made our stay extra comfortable. I also appreciated that there were lots of spaces throughout the hotel to sit and get some work done. We didn't interact with the staff much, but they were lovely when we did encounter them. It's evident that they work hard to make sure every guest has a great stay. The decor is gorgeous, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel is immaculate. Even the parking lot has pink! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
My wife and I loved our stay at the Honeyrose. The staff was friendly and great communicating in French and English as necessary. Elegant and refined spaces throughout. The in room lighting options were amazing and operated manually or by the tablet on the nightstand. The hot tub was perfect. The pool was comfortable. The coed sauna was spacious. The gym had everything you could need, with the exception being an exercise ball which was the only thing lacking and could probably benefit from having 2 or 3 in there. The parking garage was tight to drive around in but manageable if you take your time yet the spaces were large to park. Close to the metro station and bus stops. Would definitely stay here again.
