Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain

The room was clean and the staff welcoming, but several issues detracted from our two-night stay. The body wash dispenser was empty upon arrival, and despite reporting it to the front desk and submitting a request through the Marriott Bonvoy app, it was never replenished after being told otherwise. The shower drain was also extremely slow, causing water to pool around our feet. The M Club Lounge was equally disappointing. Tables remained covered in used dishes from the previous evening well into the morning, water refrigerators were empty and coffee machines were either out of milk or not functioning properly after morning service. I understand the hotel was likely busy due to the hockey weekend, but basic housekeeping, maintenance, and lounge upkeep should not be overlooked. When busy weekends are booked extra staff should be dedicated. At a cost of 450$ a night I don’t think that’s too much of an ask. As a frequent business traveller and Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, I expect a better standard of service and attention to detail. I sent a email to guest services 5 days ago and have yet to receive acknowledgment of the email

The very centrally located Marriott is ideal for both business or leisure. The rooms are in general very good but the main standout is the wonderful GYM which is fantastic with everything a gym lover could dream of!! We stayed two nights, one with a group and one on business. The Front Office staff were fantastic and had a great attitude towards helping me move from the group booking to my own FIT booking. The slight letdown was the breakfast where service went missing and the buffet was just average, as stated the Club Lounge was fine with a nice selection of fresh food and beverages. Overall as stated this is a nice hotel in a great location and good value!

What an amazing stay at the Montréal Marriott Château Champlain! I have stayed at many upscale hotels throughout my travels, and this was easily one of the best experiences I have had. The most memorable part of my stay was my interaction with Pristina at the front desk. From the moment I checked in, she was incredibly welcoming, professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made the entire check-in process seamless and immediately made me feel valued as a guest. She ensured our room was ready early to facilitate an early check-in. Pristina is truly exceptional and absolutely deserves recognition for the level of service she provides. Employees like her elevate the reputation and overall experience of the hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located for our event at the Bell Centre, but Pristina’s outstanding hospitality is what truly made this stay special. I hope every guest has the pleasure of interacting with her during their visit. 10/10 experience. I would gladly stay at the Montréal Marriott Château Champlain again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montréal!

We attended an international conference, and the hotel staff were incredibly supportive and helpful throughout our stay. Staying at this hotel truly felt like being at home, thanks to the warm welcome from Peter at reception. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the view from our room was absolutely amazing. I would especially like to thank Ivan, the concierge, whose recommendations for places to visit were excellent and made our trip even more enjoyable. Overall, I never expected this hotel to become my favorite hotel in the world. You can feel the Marriott quality in every detail. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montreal.
