The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. What really set this hotel apart was the service. I had a medical issue arise unexpectedly and Melanie at the front desk immediately researched what hospital would be the best option, called a taxi (and followed up with two more calls), managed storage of luggage and even ensured that we had food waiting when we returned from the hospital. A place really shows their service under pressure and this place excelled.

We stayed here while biking from Montreal to Quebec City. It’s an upscale place with nice, spacious rooms and an excellent restaurant. The back lawn looks out on the river. The front desk staff, especially Melanie, were super helpful all day when we needed to make a trip to the emergency room which created a lot of logistics. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel.
We got a room on the third floor which we presumed had elevator but they didn't. So we asked for a place on the 1st floor which they had. But this was a queen bed and the other was king with a much larger room. This was the same price.....not sure why. Second of all the room was without air as the air system in our room was broken. Then the blanket was stained and the sheet. Not at all impress. The front lounge was very unclean dirty rug and couch....not impressed. That night we went to the Grand Heron which is part of L'Auberge.. Food was mediocre and very expensive. Very disapointed for this as the room was very expensive. The clock was broken and the lamps are ancient. We had to open the window to get some air through the night and night air was cool. We were there for 2 nights and no one offered to do anything and the screen had a hole in it had to go and get tape from the front desk. Gave me scotch tape. Hardly any channels to watch on TV have to pay for all extras. Would definitely not recommend and would never go there again. Restaurants are very far from there. The bed was not comfortable neither were the pillows. Very bad rest.
Quaint rustic hotel on the water, about 29 minutes to trois rivières, big clean rooms, great staff at front desk. We enjoyed breakfast and the walks. Lots of parking amd all at a decent price We recommend.
We booked this as a stopping point between Montreal and Quebec city. The reviews seemed good, which was quite deceiving. The location is nice but the room was crusty and the place smelled like an old church. We were looking forward to a dip in the hot tub but, after struggling to remove the heavy cover, we discovered the jets did not work. I don't think the hot tub had been serviced for a while. The pool looked good but was not heated and the mosquitoes kept us from using it. There was a heat pump in the room, which helped to keep it cool but also made a lot of noise. I don't think that had been properly serviced, either. We slept. We left. Not worth the price. Stay elsewhere.
