Hotel Kutuma

Excellent Service, our host was extremely attentive and delivered coffees and pastries and juice in the morning and anything else we needed any time of day or night, and was friendly in answering phone and helping us out. The room is very nice, huge bed and cozy blankets. Cute balcony. The food downstairs smelled incredible at the restaurant attached though we did not eat there. Extra tooth brushes and toothpaste even in the rooms.

Our stay at Hotel Kutuma was perfect and a highlight of our Montreal trip. Adam and the rest of the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. We had no problem dropping our bags off early before check-in, and leaving them after check-out. We loved the location in Le Plateau and Adam gave us great recommendations for exploring the neighbourhood. The croissants and cappuccinos were a wonderful touch and the restaurant Nil Bleu was also incredible - don't skip it! The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed and beyond. We especially loved the big bathroom window, the balcony, and comfortable/luxurious bed. We wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else next time we're in Montreal; the service, comfort, and location were perfect.

We had a wonderful time staying at Hotel Kutuma! The room was cozy, with a comfortable bed, pleasant shower, and outdoor balcony. The complimentary coffee and croissants were a great way to begin the day. The location couldn’t be better, as the neighborhood was lovely and a great launching point for exploring the city. But most of all, Adam was wonderful — extremely warm, friendly, and helpful. We would stay again for his service alone — he really made us feel at home.

Everything about Hotel Kutuma was absolutely perfect: ideal location in a charming and walkable neighborhood near coffee, restaurants, shops, and transit; incredibly kind and attentive staff; thoughtfully appointed, comfortable, and clean rooms; and flexibility around both check in and check out. All of that for a very fair price. I stayed here as a solo traveler in their junior suite (more than enough space for one person, it’d be big even for two!), and I felt safe and cared for the entire time. My only regret was not trying the on-site Ethiopian restaurant, and that’s my own fault! I’d recommend staying here to virtually anyone. Unbeatable hospitality and location, a truly fantastic experience.
