Only 6 hours into our stay and we already know we made the right choice! The service has been exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our room is spacious with beautiful high ceilings and a large bathroom, and the location is perfect. We were also surprised with champagne and a personal note for our anniversary, which made our arrival feel extra special. Such a wonderful first impression, and we’re excited for the next 4 days!
Booked a king room; the beds were queen-sized. When I pointed this out at the front desk, the staff member insisted they were kings rather than checking or acknowledging the difference. Also worth knowing: they place a CAD $700 incidental hold at check-in for room damages. Mine still hadn't been released more than a week after checkout. Verify the bed size before you settle in, and budget for the $700 hold sitting on your card longer than you'd expect. EDIT: almost 11 days and they still have not cancelled the deposit charge,
We had a great experience and the location of the hotel is extremely convenient. A man offered to take our bags for us promptly after getting out of the Uber. We were very happy with our city view room since it was spacious and clean. The windows are nicely insulated so the outside noise is hardly heard. There was some protesting in the park while we were here but again, couldn’t be heard from in our room. We enjoyed the restaurant bar as well. We just went there for drinks. Our bartender was friendly and attentive. Drinks were delicious!
This is a beautiful hotel and is located in the heart of downtown which makes it convenient for walking to check out all the sites. The room was very nice and worthy of a 5 star rating! Our biggest complaint was the service and mediocre food quality at their restaurant. My wife and I went in yesterday to grab a light breakfast - fresh fruit for her and toasted baguette for me. It took over 25 min to get these and the fruit was moldy and old. My toast was cold. You should offer free coffee service in the am 22 dollars for 2 cappuccino is way too much. Then we asked them to have a taxi ready for us on a day of departure and it was there. Once we got there he told us cash only so I had to go inside to get money to pay him. The hotel staff made no mention of this to us. Overall a good place but need to work on the fine details to be a 5 star hotel in my book.
My two girlfriends and I recently had an incredible weekend stay here and we would like to express our utmost gratitude to all members of the staff who were so patient and accommodating as we were decorating our room to surprise our friend, in celebrating her recent elopement. We had a beautiful stay and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The hotel smells beautiful, Is immaculately clean, Centrally located close to wonderful shopping And has a gorgeous restaurant and bar to enjoy.
