Stayed 2 nights at this hotel. We chose this hotel for the convenience of EV charger and unlimited in/out. However, only 2 out of the 4 chargers were functional. We were there for 3 days total, same cars were parked and plugged in the whole time, they never moved their cars and hogged the chargers. When I told the staff to see if they could check with the customers if their car was fully charged, they said there was nothing they could do about it. In the end, we couldn't even charge our car and had to find alternative charging/parking. So we had to pay twice. For the rooms - the shower and toilets are weirdly designed; there is no actual bathroom. It's a shower stall and a toileting stall. No ventilation, no privacy. The walls are thin - I could hear the next room's baby crying and the floor above me rolling their suitcase around. For the price we paid, and it being a 4-star hotel, I would not come back again.

The rooms were clean and well sized and I really appreciated no carpet for the flooring. In a good location (easy walking distance to Old Port, restaurants, and the metro). The staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again! Only thing I would note is it’s a sliding opaque door for the washroom but that seems to be a thing newer/renovated hotels are doing now.
Stayed in a 2 queen room. Very comfortable! Loved the floor to ceiling windows. The coffee setup worked well, nice minifridge. Great TV. Bathroom had large shower, nice sized vanity. I would have rated the room as 5 stars except for 2 issues. One - the street noise. Had trouble falling asleep and staying asleep due to the traffic sounds. Second - we needed the air conditioning but the cool air blew directly into the bed closest to the bathroom (the one I slept in). So not being able to get a good nights sleep for two nights in a row led me to lower the rating from 5 to 4. I will say the staff are amazing! And housekeeping deserves 10 stars! Best we’ve experienced during our 22 days of travel. Fantastic! Parking was easy and has controlled access, though pretty expensive considering we’re seeing a lot cheaper rates at 24 hr lots within a few blocks. Also be aware the rooms are on floors 10 and below. Not the high rise as shown in many of Marriott’s photos.
I am very sad that I can't recommend this hotel, because every single member of staff, from the top notch front desk staff, to the cleaning service, to even the security guard who very politely let us know the outdoor terrace was closing for the evening, was perfect. You literally couldn't ask for a better staff, especially at this price point. The problem is, the rooms have been remodeled with the recent "trendy" style of semi-private bathroom. The shower and toilet stall doors do not go the full height of the ceiling, allowing all sounds (and smells) to permeate the room. This is not luxurious. This feels perhaps one step above a hostel. I do not care that my partner and I have been married for years, we do not want to hear and smell each other use the toilet. This should be a basic fundamental design understanding. We all go to a private room in our homes with a full size and thickness door to separate our toilet business from one another. I don't want to have essentially a public bathroom stall door in my living space, ever. Additionally, the "stall door" design never closes perfectly shut, meaning water from the shower will always seep into the room no matter how hard you try to shut it. I will never book this hotel again until this design flaw is corrected, and, it's a shame, because the staff are so excellent they deserve better. I am only giving this two stars because of the staff.
We stayed for 5 nights as a family of 4. Here are the positives: location is amazing and with in walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, subway stations, old Montreal. We arrived before our room was ready and were given a temporary key to use the pool with our kids which was great. The room and bathroom are large enough just lacking clothing storage space. The pool is great for kids as the whole pool is the same depth of 1.15m. We were not generally bothered by the outside noise or other people as it’s in a quieter neighborhood. My big issue is with the way the rooms were cleaned or more the lack of thorough cleaning. The bathroom floor and the rest of the room had hair left on it. I complained one time but it kept happening. The shower needed to be cleaned better as soap scum accumulated in the corners. Not sure if it’s because housekeeping has too many rooms to complete in a short period of time. But ensuring the rooms are cleaned well not just between guest but also for those staying for more than one night.
