**Disappointing Stay – Hotel 10 Montréal** We stayed at Hotel 10 Montréal for a combination of business and pleasure, and unfortunately, the experience fell well short of our expectations. The rooms were average, and the breakfast was disappointing, deserving no more than a 2/5 rating. We also encountered water tanks in the hallways, which detracted from the overall appearance of the hotel. To make matters worse, there was considerable noise from repair work in the area, even at night, making the environment less comfortable than it should have been. However, the **biggest disappointment was the customer service**. Whenever we approached staff with a question, we were made to feel as though we were inconveniencing them simply by asking. The interactions felt dismissive and disrespectful, which is unacceptable in a hotel where guests should feel welcome and valued. A hotel stay is about more than just a room; it is also about the quality of service and the overall experience. Unfortunately, Hotel 10 failed to deliver on both. Given the average accommodations, poor breakfast, disruptive noise, and, most importantly, the lack of welcoming and professional customer service, I would not recommend this hotel and would not book here again.

Very nice staff. Rooms are spacious and were clean daily. You can only use the elevator with your room key so safety is good besides they have security. This hotel is in the middle of everything. We mostly walked to everything . It was a great experience.
I honestly cannot understand how HOTEL10 is considered a four-star hotel. Based on my experience, it did not even come close to the standard I would expect from a one-star property. The cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable. The hotel was dirty and poorly maintained, and it was shocking to see a property advertised as four-star being kept in this condition. What made the situation even worse was how my complaint was handled. I called and spoke directly with the manager expecting professionalism and at least some concern about what I had experienced. Instead, she was extremely rude, dismissive and condescending. Rather than listening to my concerns or trying to resolve the situation, I was spoken to in a way that made me feel as though I was being accused of lying about what I had personally seen and experienced. What I found especially unprofessional was that I asked the manager for her name five separate times, and she repeatedly refused to provide it. If you are representing a hotel as a manager and dealing directly with a guest complaint, refusing to even identify yourself is completely unacceptable. A hotel can have problems — what really shows its level of service is how management responds when a guest brings those problems to their attention. Unfortunately, the manager's attitude and refusal to identify herself made an already terrible experience significantly worse. I would absolutely not recommend HOTEL10 based on my experience. A four-star rating should represent cleanliness, professionalism and quality service. I experienced none of those things here.
I had a very good stay at Hotel 10 and would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others. I am a solo female traveler in my mid thirties. The property was spotless, which is something that’s extremely important to me, and my room was clean and well maintained. My room wasn’t ready when I arrived, but the front desk happily held my luggage so I could start exploring the city, which I really appreciated. They also agreed to hold my bags for about an hour after checkout, which was very helpful. The only area that could use some improvement was the valet service. When I arrived, it wasn’t very clear who the valet attendant was. There were several men standing at the front entrance, and no one approached me even though I was obviously looking around trying to figure out where to leave my luggage. I eventually had to ask who the valet was. At checkout, I had another small service issue. I went back to the front to leave my bag for an hour, but there was no valet attendant in sight, so I waited for about five minutes. Another guest, a man, came out after me and waited as well. When the valet returned, he helped the other guest first, even though I had been waiting longer, then went inside to speak with the front desk before coming back out. I ultimately had to ask him directly if he could help me with my bags. Fortunately, that was the only service hiccup during my stay. Everything else was excellent, especially the cleanliness of the hotel and the helpfulness of the front desk staff. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely choose Hotel 10 again. The location is also great and I was easily able to walk around and felt safe there even at night.
Nice and clean hotel, with very friendly staff, and not too expensive for the location. BUT, the only negative is that the breakfast buffet was absolutely horrendous!! 30$ for eggs with the worst texture, soggy potatoes, cheap Eggos, Gadoua bagel, barely cooked sausage, even the apple juice tasted off. So I'd suggest people to go to some brunch places around or even the cafe in the building, but don't waste your money on the breakfast buffet!
