We absolutely loved the David Hotel. It has such a cool industrial-chic design and feels more like having your own stylish apartment in Old Montreal than staying in a traditional hotel. The rooms are incredibly well thought out and set up so you could comfortably stay for a weekend or a month, with a full kitchen, great living space, and everything you need. The bed and pillows were also extremely comfortable, which made the stay even better. The location is outstanding. It’s on the same street as the Air Canada airport shuttle stop and literally about a five-minute walk from where you get dropped off. You’re right in Old Montreal, surrounded by amazing cafés, pubs, shops, and world-class restaurants within steps of the hotel, while still being only a short walk to downtown. The restaurant in the building was also a beautiful night out and added another great option without even having to leave the property. What really topped off the experience was the staff. Everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We stayed during a very busy time in Montreal and paid high-season rates because of the events happening in the city, but we were not disappointed at all. The experience absolutely lived up to what we hoped for. We will honestly stay at the David Hotel every time we return to Montreal, assuming there is availability. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay at David Hotel and would absolutely stay here again. I actually loved the self-service setup. There’s no traditional front desk experience, but for me that was a plus. Everything is done with passcodes, so I could come and go, get into the building and elevator, and head straight to my room without having to stop at a desk. It was simple and convenient. The room itself was beautiful and surprisingly spacious. The long layout makes it feel much bigger, the king-size bed was really comfortable, and the waterfall shower was amazing. It also felt much more functional than a typical hotel room. Having a washer and dryer right in the room was fantastic, and the kitchen had pretty much everything I needed, including a stovetop and cooking supplies. I especially liked the built-in drawer-style fridge and freezer setup. There was actually plenty of cold storage, which you don't always get in a hotel. Overall, the room felt modern, comfortable, private, and really well thought out. I had a great stay in Montreal, and David Hotel will definitely be at the top of my list when I come back.
We just completed a 7-night stay at the David Hotel. It was our first visit to Montreal and we were very happy we chose this property. First, it's in a great location within a short walk to many of the main attractions and the subway, which is a really efficient way to get around the city. The room was clean, generally quiet (though not soundproof) with everything you need for a great stay. There's even a full-size washer and dryer, plus the kitchen is well equipped. The bed was comfortable and we loved the ambient lighting and exposed brick walls. The place has a cool, minimalist vibe. Yes, as others have commented, having the sink in the middle of the room is a little odd and the shower is not private at all (we've been married 26 years, so that's not a problem). We really appreciated the kitchen because we like to eat breakfast in. Also, since we stayed 7 nights, they cleaned our room once, which was nice. The free wifi works great and check in/out is a breeze with keyless entry. We thought it was a great value for our money and would definitely stay there again.
It was the nicest room ( studio apartment) we’ve ever stayed in. The old stone walls gave it so much character! The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bedding luxurious! The leather couch, beautifully appointed kitchen, and washer and dryer were bonuses we didn’t expect. It was walkable to everything- the water front and uptown and everything in between. Lots of restaurants, cafes, snd coffee shops just around every corner. We loved it!
We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Starting with the location, which is excellent—it’s close to everything Old Montreal has to offer, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy the city on foot. The hotel itself is incredible. Both the hallways and the apartment have the perfect blend of modern and historic charm, which was exactly what we were looking for. You can tell that every detail has been carefully thought out to create a unique and welcoming atmosphere. What impressed us even more was how peaceful and quiet it was. Despite being so centrally located, we were able to completely relax and unwind during our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and this has become one of our favorite places to stay in Montreal. We would definitely come back on our next visit!
