Amazing service especially from the representative I was assigned with called Lovely. She was so nice and extremely helpful. She not only helped us with finding our transfer but also provided us with lots of information on different things to do in DR and the different excursions. She also helped us with booking the excursions and stayed in contact with us throughout our whole trip. Great customer service overall! Will definitely recommend booking with shuttle central and try to request for Lovely if you can as she is the best and will make your experience in Punta Cana easier

Unfortunately I have bad experience with this company. 16th of October from Jewel palm beach on our way back to the airport, the driver didn't show up. At first we were told he will be 10 minutes delayed and then after this time we were advised to call a taxi if we can't wait any longer. We paid for a private transportation however at the hotel ,same time , there waited another person to be taken by the same driver who paid for a private transportation. So the company took money twice.

I loved my experience with one click. They send you notifications with pictures of who your driver will be and give constant updates on arrival and departure times. They also were a big help when I needed to book excursions out of the resort. I highly recommend them. Ricardo was the best. Thank you!

Update: Ive changed my star rating for the company as the representative reached out to me and sincerely apologized for their oversight and refunded me for the return part of the trip. Because of their acknowledgement, ive given them a better rating as they were on time and we didnt have to wait even one minute. Their vehicle was great with fantastic air conditioning. Original Review: I want to start off with a warning to everyone. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you don’t want to get scammed. I saw a few bad reviews of this very same scenario but ignored them. Im guessing a lot of the positive ones are planted by their own people. Im just thankful I didn’t get conned into booking anything else with them through their contact at the airport named “Jose Martinez” or Rafael as they tried to also sell us some excursions with tempting offers. We probably would have been screwed over with those too. Because of all the negative reviews I was super cautious. It didnt help that the booking module on their site was in Spanish with no English option so I was a little hesitant. I decided to price out a single one-way journey first for my group. For a one way journey, it showed that the distance from the airport to our resort was 15km and the price also reflected that. Then I priced out a two-way return journey and the distance doubled to 30km as did the price. So at least I was confident I wasn’t confused with the language. So I proceeded to booked them. I felt a little reassured that there was an option to pay at the airport instead of paying online so I opted to pay in-person when we got there. I got my confirmation email with a little note saying thank you and all the usual pleasantries. I was told I would be contacted a day before my flight with further instructions on where to meet. I didn’t get any email a day before my flight so I sent out my own email to them and I didn’t get a response till an hour before my departure. I was given a nice image of where the driver would be waiting for me in the arrivals hall and I was told how I can connect to the airport wi-fi upon arrival and how I can reach out to them. I felt a little reassured that all was well. Upon landing in Punta Cana, I got a welcome message from Rafael checking to see if his rep Jose had reached out to me. I informed him that he did and let him know that Jose told me he was waiting in the arrival hall. We met Jose and he seemed like a great guy. Anyone will behave great when they want to fleece you. He gave us tips on the country, offered us excursion packages and other goodies. He asked me to pay off the full amount and I didn’t have a problem with that but I asked him to confirm that it was a return journey. He asked to see my confirmation letter and he acknowledged that it was indeed a return journey. With that reassurance I settled them in full. We were in Punta Cana for five days and my spidey sense kicked in two days before our departure, I reached out to Rafael to confirm our pick up at the resort and he didn’t respond at all. I reached out to Jose and he said he would take care of me and will make sure we are picked up on time. Again I felt (falsely) reassured. The night before we flew, I again messaged Jose to remind him that we would be at the lobby at 1:00 and to make sure his man is present. He said “no problem”. I finally messaged him the morning of our departure sending him a gentle reminder. Finally it was 1:00pm and we checked out of the hotel early at 12:45 and we were ready for our pickup. Nobody showed up! There was no vehicle. I messaged Jose and he tells me he JUST checked with the office and they told him I only paid one way. I forwarded the invoice to him showing him that it was a 2 way journey with double the distance and double the price and he said the big boss is saying it’s only a one way fare. I argued and he wouldn’t budge. I had no choice but to source out a vehicle from the resort. Stay away from these scammers. The ruined a beautiful holiday and left a horrible distaste in my mouth for the country.

Transportation from the airport to our hotel was 10/10, picked us up on time, and reliable! Communication was great and would recommend this company to others and will be using again for future vacations! Thank you!

We booked it for our shuttle between the hotel and airport. They cancelled our transportation when We had to go back to the airport 2 minutes before the shuttle arrival, saying that the van broke, and the closest one to replace it was at a 2 hours trip to reach us. They sent me a message saying that "I should take a taxi to te airport so We don't miss our flight" (Image) To this day, no one answers me when I'm trying to claim the money I paid for my transportation to the airport. The worst part is that they do this because you don't book any tour with them during your stay, and they don't care if you are travelling with children... If you are not profitable, they will send you this "the van broke" message on the return service

I booked with for an airport pickup and drop off to hotel, then collection from Hotel to another Hotel and then collection from Hotel to Airport. I received a WhatsApp whilst in baggage hall advising they were waiting outside for me. I then received a WhatsApp the day before the transfer between hotels, they arrived 10 minutes early. I haven't left the 2nd hotel yet, but if like the previous two rides I am sure it will all go to plan. I would recommend them and use them again.

I booked an airport transfer from Punta Cana airport to Bavaro online through the firm "Welcome PickUps" who in turn did the booking through SM Shuttles (Servi Mundo Shuttles). I did this initially in the UK and was pleased to get an email response immediately, followed by a WhatsApp from the chap meeting me at the airport, followed by another with a picture of the sign he was holding up. The cost of $20 was cheaper than anything else i found on line. The taxi arrived and the journey was fine. The chap offered to sort out my return trip from the hotel to the airport for $35. I refused and instead went back online to the same Welcome Pick Ups who again booked SM Shuttles for $20. They emailed and WhatsAppd again. They arrived bang on time, a clean and comfortable car drove us back to the airport. Excellent service. Well done.

Horrible service. We booked a collection and return shuttle service (airport to hotel, then hotel to airport) and paid more than one month in advance. The collection at the airport was ok. But the return was simply a disaster, a nightmare. We had booked collection (again, more than a month earlier) from the hotel to the airport for 6.30am on the 3rd of January, with our flight scheduled for 9am. However, they decided to cancel the booking on the 2nd of january at 22pm!!!! Despite having our mobile number and having communicated through that number when they picked us at the airport, they communicated this cancellation via email at 22pm, which by the way obviously did go to junk - when we woke up and waited for the shuttle at the booked hour, there was no way we could know they had cancelled the service on the previous night, not only because the cancellation was made via email (straight to junk), but also because having to travel from 6.30am, obviously we were in bed very early the previous night. To top it all, we tried to contact them several times from 6.30am to 7.30am when they did not show up. They did not answer the calls, and took them one hour to respond to whatsapp message, despite being online and receiving the several messages sent (messages delivered, and number showing it was online and reading the messages for one hour, without reply or any aknowledgement). When the lady finally decided to reply to our many messages, not one word of apology or any attempt to rectify the situation. Just one phrase: "your booking was rejected, please check your email". This already at 7.40am, for a shuttle booked for 6.30am, a shuttle by the way that would take about 45 minutes from the hotel to the airport for a flight at 9am!!!!!!! We had to book a last minute taxi, and the taxi had to drive unsafely super fast so that we would make it on time for the flight. REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR!!!!!! I dont recomend this company to anyone. They dont care about their customers, and treat them like garbage.

This was our first time arriving in the Dominican republic and the service was wonderful. Our taxi driver was right there when we got off the plane with a sign with my name on it. Was friendly and funny and safely got us to our resort. Our pick up was seamless as well. Quick and efficient back to the airport. Could not say enough about this company. The drivers were great and very very helpful.

The company is a scammer! never use this taxi service. I booked and paid in advance a transfer from a hotel to the airport through Booking.com. They didn’t show up, I asked the brand of the car, the color and plate number but they even couldn’t say - which means they are already not serious, they lied that the driver is waiting me in the lobby. So I lost 30 minutes for waiting and chatting with them. I needed to go to an airport and I almost missed my flight because of them! The taxi’s company did it by purpose to steal money and even don’t care that you are going to the airport. They think that people just leave the country and they will not have any responsibility. They promised to refund money but of course they didn’t give anything because they are scammers! They said they did a mistake with a hotel and it’s better if I’ll find another taxi! Imagine, they got the money and say me “take another taxi”. So I paid 3 times more for a last minute taxi to get to the airport. That’s how SM SHUTTLES works, if to be correct - DOESN’T WORK... be careful

Excellent service and so helpful with all our questions. The transfer to the condo was seemless. There was a sign at the airport with our name on it and they were so easy to find. The driver was so friendly and had excellent english skills, as our Spanish, unfortunately is very limited. We have used SM Shuttles in the past and they NEVER disappoint. Thanks to Lorena Méndez who, days before the flight, maintained very good communication and was attentive to our transfer from the airport to the hotel and even from the hotel to the airport. She received us with great professionalism, giving us a very good welcome and offering very important information. During our stay she stayed in touch and thanks to her and the rest of the staff as the drivers we were able to enjoy a tour (Monkey land) and also without any charge for round trip transportation we were able to visit some souvenirs recommended by her.
