After pickup and transportation to the ATV/buggy ranch, your group will gather to receive brief health and safety instructions from our friendly, knowledgeable tour guide. Then you will get on a horse for a 15-minute ride led by a tour guide. When you return, you will get on your ATV or buggy because it is time to go off-roading! In rally style in a caravan, you will travel on rough roads between forests and lush tropical gardens, making a stop at an organic farm. There, you will have an opportunity to taste and learn about Dominican treasures like coffee, green tea, chocolate, mamajuana (minimum drinking age is 18), and cigars. You will then drive to the next stop on the tour--a 25 ft. deep water cave. After some time enjoying this hidden gem and its refreshing waters, you will follow your tour guide as you drive to the spectacular Macao Beach. Relax and enjoy the waves and sand, surrounded by limestone cliffs, before driving back to the ATV/buggy ranch where transportation will be waiting to return you to your pickup location.
We had such a good time. Me and my cousin went and we recommend this excursion fo groups or solo travelers. Shout out to our tour guide Gary aka mama Juana peace and love!! We did horse back riding, buggy’s and cave swim. Only downfall wished we would’ve been able to ride the horses longer!! Other than 10/10. Please bring cash!!!! You don’t wanna a get hit with the 18-20% tax for card. 😫

Gary was absolutely amazing.! He was attentive, got through traffic so we didn’t have to wait and made sure all of us were safe! He was knowledgeable and made sure to keep us moving g while making sure we got the full experience.
The dune buggy ride is very muddy so be prepared. The four wheelers are cleaner. Watch out for the locals at the stops along the way. Keep your personal belongings close and do allow them to touch or grab you.

Jhonny was by far the highlight of our excursion! He kept us safe while making sure we had fun. We love Jhonny! Pickup at our resort was disappointing at first. We were originally scheduled to be picked up at 7:30, but the scheduler made a mistake, so rescheduled us for 10:30 instead. The driver was great however. We were just disappointed we got back to our resort 3 hours later than planned. Definitely pack water and snacks, as nothing is provided. We were very hungry and eager to get back to our resort by the end of our excursion.
Title: Nice Experience, but the Horseback Ride Was Too Short Everything was nice, and overall, I enjoyed the experience. My only disappointment was the horseback riding, which lasted about three minutes. I wish that part had been longer!

Our tour guide, Sony, was wonderful !! It was just myself, my husband and Sony, just the 3 of us He explained what to expect as far as each stop We explored the cultures, learned about the market & what the DR has to offer
We had a great time on this excursion! The tour guides were great, and the experience itself was a lot of fun. Definitely 5 stars overall. One thing I would recommend is bringing your own cold or frozen water. We spent about 2–3 hours going from one location to the next, and by the time we reached the beach, which was our last stop, everyone was extremely hot and thirsty. Water was available for purchase at the beach at the end before heading back, but I do think for an excursion that costs over $100 per person, having cold bottled water included in the package and offered to us at some point before the very end would be a nice addition . Other than that, we had an amazing time and I would definitely recommend it!

Transportation was on time. Drop off and Pick up was not an issue. Dominican farm was ok, Horse back riding was nice, Buggies though felt somewhat unsafe. Overall tour felt rushed. Guides seemed more concerned with rushing through rather than allowing enjoyment..

Guillemamawhamaloveandpiece was a great guide, took us to a lot cool spots and always looked out for us. We went on a tour of the island side where we rode buggy’s and stopped to try mamawhana and after went on a horseback ride and finally finished off at the beach where we rode back afterwards.

Such a cool experience with Vladimir made sure we stayed at places for pictures and enjoy the time. All the stops were great riding the horses the beach the cigars and Cave. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Went today to experience what Punta Cana had to offer via off-road adventures. After reviewing many options, we were saddened to see that the only opportunity that was time-consuming was the incredibly over priced coffee and chocolates (coming from the states, we know prices very well). We were more than punctual, and we were rushed through each excursion. The longest excursion was where we ended up spending the most money on coffee, tea, chocolate and the famous local Mamajuana. The actual excursions felt like photo opportunities. The cave diving- 15 minutes max, the beach, 20 minutes maybe. As a well traveled individual, I felt like I made the wrong decision for choosing this specific place. However, every stop was a "must see" to get to know local economy and learn the culture, but we spent most of the time learning how to negotiate prices. Given this, staff was amazing and helpful and we had a great time, but would definitely choose a longer trip because 2.5 hours semeed like 10 minutes per stop (I have time stamps from photos ). I would recommend a place that allows for more time and less " smile for the camera". This is my 5th time to the DR and I haven't had such "less time" than ever. Also- as having decades of experience as an off -road driver, the buggy wheel was not aligned well, could not drive fast and when providing feedback, was brushed off. Good luck whoever has my buggy in the future

GARRY VLADIMIR GAETAN were super friendly and helped us the entire way on our biggie trip. This is a money well spent exercusion. Highly recommended. The hotel pick up was on time. The check in process was quick. Beach was very refreshing. Cave had alot of people. Buggies were the basic one but fully functional.

4/5. Travel/ride - open air bus that was on time and easy to find. Really made this part of the excursion seamless. Accommodations/equipment - everything was what you should expect. The dune buggies are modified go-karts, but are really fun. The horses were easy to control and knew their route. Guide - was clear and easy to follow. The positive - the experience riding the dune buggies was great, especially since it rained that morning. It made for a muddy fun mess. The beach was calm and very enjoyable. The guide ran interference on the local tourist trappers, making sure we had a great time. Negative - they (the business) tried to pack in as much as they could. This lead to a rapid fire tour. They took the most time to push the local products in lieu of extra time at the lagoon and beach. The lagoon/cave is rushed. Expect 5 minutes, max. Jump in the water. Take your photo. Get out and start to the beach and horses. The horse ride is about 1/8 mile each way. Again, get on the horse. Take photo. On to the next thing. The beach is beautiful and the water is calm, but again, time is short. Pay attention and constantly check the currency conversion. Huge positive - the photographer. These guys (or at least ours) worked for his money. The price is what you should expect on an excursion, $120 for a family of four. We were able to negotiate the price to $100. Overall, I would say 4/5. Fun, but rushed. The kids loved it, which was great. Be aware of currency conversion rates, tourist trappers with their “treasures”, animals, and free “gifts”. Bring bandanas to quell the dust. If you forget them, expect to spend $10/each! (Yes, I paid this for US dollar store quality bandanas. You will need them).

Gary Mama Juana love and peace did an excellent job!! we went coffee, tea, drink, tasting on ATVs. Then we headed to the cave where we jumped in springwater, which felt so refreshing. Horse back to the beach got in the ocean or just a great experience and a great guide. Don’t forget the excellent food.
The excursion was quite an adventure. Definitely a must try at least once. Memorable, fun, energetic and a very good time. Our guide was was great as well!!!!!
