Beeeeeessssssssstttt water park I’ve been to hands down , D R owes us ntn thanks to viator , my nephew enjoyed himself
Park was good. Lots of different slides and activities for a wide range of people. Food and drinks were a reasonable price. A little pricey for the entrance hence the 4 stars but would do again and we have no regrets.
Terrible service transportation didn’t pick us up so had to pay going and coming back took all my money theives
Visited today as a family of 4 and was honestly one of the best days out we have had in a long time. The park is fantastic and great value for money. Staff clearly enjoy their work and were always willing to help. Amenities are clean and the rides perfect. If you have the time and are visiting the area go!
Wow. What an amazing time. So much to do easy to spend a full day with out even noticing the time. Over all it was beautiful, the villas were amazing a little apartment with private full bath and private pool , the baby was able to take a nap under AC while the big kids got on all the ride. The Rides were fantastic, the cenotes was one of my favorite floating with the kids and laughing was amazing, jumping into the water 20ft in the air was so much fun. Food was great and staff very friendly and helpful. Overall a most do when you visit DR.
This was an incredible experience, we were a Group of 10, 5 adults and 5 kids ranging from a 2 year old to teens. The slides were fun, they have something for all ages, the park staff is supper attentive. We loved it and will definetly be back. I recommend going early as the day goes super fast, theres so much to do.
The park was so much fun with plenty of rides and slides to enjoy
We visited El Dorado Water Park in Punta Cana with my wife and two teenagers (16 and 18), and we had a really great day out. Right from the start, the logistics were seamless. There was excellent communication regarding both of our transfers, making the whole trip completely stress-free. The park itself is incredibly well looked after and clean. The rides were fantastic and perfect for older kids. The absolute highlights for our family were the Hurracan and the Blue Cenote — a swim in a very cold river that features a large, thrilling jump right in the middle! We were also really impressed by the food and drinks, which were a massive step up from what you normally expect at a theme park. They even had sushi and poke bowls, which were absolutely delicious. Overall, a brilliant, well-run park. Highly recommended!
The park is nice over all, rides are amazing but the costumer service is terrible. We were greeted very poorly, most workers seemed very annoyed when approached for anything or just to give simple explanations for the rides.
A reasonable experience, but there are many other problems, such as the lack of internet, many activities requiring life jackets even if you know how to swim, the wave pool only produces waves when it wants to, some products out of service, and the price being very high.
Overall a good day but limited transport options - it’s one ride there, and one ride back. So if you don’t want to spend 7 hours at the park, just use a taxi service which was only 5 dollars each way to Cap Cana resorts. You cannot even bring water into the park let alone your own food! That’s pretty bad in my opinion. You shouldn’t be made to purchase water whilst in the park for 7 hours! It’s just a cash cow for the owners and leaves a bad taste for the customers, hence a 3 star review. Really there are only 6 adult slides and a zip wire for rides, so do you really need to spend 7 hours here if using the parks own transportation included in the ticket?! Again, just seems like they want to keep you captive to purchase refreshments for the duration. If you want to experience the wave pool on top of the rides, you can do this but after one round of waves for 10 minutes, and the lazy river which maybe takes 15 minutes for a circuit, that’s it for the day really. You don’t need to be here anymore as you’ve covered all the experiences. It could have been much better if you didn’t feel imprisoned to spend on top of the £100 each for what is really a 3-4 hour day. This may explain why the park is like a ghost town (no queuing whatsoever!) as it is overpriced for what you get. Shame really as there’s much better value attractions to experience in Punta Cana.
I had the absolute best time here with my husband and friends! It’s an experience you definitely cannot miss. There is so much to do and it’s incredibly fun. Make sure to bring sunscreen and water shoes! You'll need them. The staff was super friendly the entire time. A special shout-out to Luisa Carry for her excellent service and for taking such good care of us. We will definitely be back!
The waterpark was not large compared to many of the waterparks you'd find in the U.S., but the park hand a combination of popular, commonly found rides along with some unique experiences. The park itself had a Maya theme to it and the queues to the rides had a unique "cave-like" architectural build versus the typical industrial, cattle-chute approach you see in a typical U.S. park. There were some kayak areas, both in a small lake area and a contained, constructed area with a lagoon feel. Also, the park was not heavily patronized, affording us the opportunity to ride everything multiple times.
Lots of seating and things to do. You were able to stay busy the whole day. It was not crowded at all considering it was a Friday! Hardly any wait for the activities. The photographers took amazing pictures, I definitely recommend buying the photo package right when you arrive. It was a bit difficult communicating with the staff, only a select few could speak English. Other staff members would have to use translation apps so it was a bit of a barrier but no issue at all. They had lot of signage and announcements in English letting you know when the park was closing. The transportation was on time and efficient! Definitely bring a pair of water shoes or Crocs to wear while at the activities. The pavement was quite warm and could burn your feet while walking around!
Amazing park and very friendly staff all the rides are good with no queuing, very clean and Gabriel at the first desk made out stay more personalised as we were here for a 30th birthday.
Park still under development in some areas - ie some rides not yet open but doesn’t impact the day too much (no noise) There were no queues for anything, good food, plenty of beds There is a particular area for kids with toddler rides and splash zone I think this park is best for families with mixed ages
Pretty well organized. Very fun park and water slides. Maybe a little too expensive for what it is. Maybe improve the packages to make it worth the price.
We came here as a family of five and had a lovely day. The lies they have are really good and well kept and the whole park is really clean with loads of sun lounges. The wave pool was lovely and there was no wait times for anything. We had free food included and were pretty impressed with it as waterpark food goes. The only thing I would say is that it’s quite expensive we didn’t play the gate price, but I would’ve been upset how we paid the gate price. There are a limited number of slides and lots of space still under construction. The snorkel section could be lovely but there isn’t really anything to look at in it.
Amazing experience for the whole family! Recommended.
Excellent puck up and drop off service but the park is expensive for very limited number of slides when you have visited Siam park for a lot less It does have a zip line across the park which was different to other water parks
The Waterpark was absolutely amazing!! Great rides, well organized, low crowds and the facility was immaculate. Our only challenge was that our local transportation provider that we were to call and coordinate travel with really couldn’t effectively speak, or understand English, so our transportation arrangements ended up never working out. (We finally gave up after she hung up and booked our own Car svc to get to/from the park). Our Viator experience was great as usual, but they need to hold this transportation vendor to a higher standard.
I had an excellent time at El Dorado Water Park in Punta Cana. The park was clean, well-maintained, and offered a great variety of attractions for both relaxation and excitement. The slides were thrilling, the lazy river was perfect for unwinding, and there were plenty of areas to just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It can be a little confusion because most of the workers does not speak English, Overall, it was a fun and memorable experience, and I would definitely recommend El Dorado Water Park to anyone visiting Punta Cana.
The KIDS had so much fun. For me as a residente is was so expensive eating there, the chicken was so hard for my kid but the burgers and the nachos very fresh and good. At 4:55 they were so loud about putting people away, closing all the waters (even the showers), so loud and rude, but other then that it was a nice experience, will I come back? No. To expensive. I don’t get paid in dollars.
Absolutely Horrible When we asked for ANYTHING (electricity- pillow- blanket ANYTHING) She told us we have to leave because she didn't want to be bothered- never again
Me and my daughter booked a day at this waterpark through our TUI rep. We was staying at Dreams La Romana, we got our transport and lunch included for around £170 all in. We enjoyed ourselves that much, we booked another trip there. It's a brilliant day out, not waiting in queues long for slides, the staff all full of smiles and helpful Definitely recommend it and the photos to !
We had an awesome day at El Dorado! The staff was incredibly friendly and the park is absolutely beautiful. The vegetation and gardens as well as the design of the park was fantastic. More importantly, the rides were a blast and we had so much fun! Highly recommend this excursion for anyone going to the Dominican Republic with kids!
Loved this waterpark. It was so clean and beautiful landscaping. We rented a tent and loved the service provided with it. Everyone working there was great - friendly, engaging, and made you feel welcome. It was not crowded so we got to use the rides many times. Food was also delicious.
We visited El Dorado Water Park in Cap Cana, DR as a group of three families—kids ages 6, 7, 9, and 13, plus six adults ranging from 40 to 80—and had the absolute BEST time. Truly one of the best experiences of our trip and worth every penny! We took the shuttle from Dreams Cap Cana, which made getting there super easy. The park is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, and the day flew by because we were having so much fun. What really stood out: The park was incredibly clean—honestly one of the cleanest we’ve ever been to. It wasn’t crowded at all, so we didn’t spend much time waiting in lines. The food was surprisingly great—better than what we had at our hotel! If you have water shoes, they might be helpful, but they’re definitely not necessary. Overall, such a fun, smooth, and memorable day for all ages. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Cap Cana! Loved it so much that we went back TWICE! 1st time we booked with Viator and 2nd time we booked with Amstar.
Excellent water park …. we enjoyed it so much we actually went back the next day. Staff was great and the food was the best we had in our 9 day trip to DR. Would highly recommend El Dorado Water Park. My only suggestion is that then expand the snorkeling canyon and put some fish in there!
Absolutely amazing. Luisa took care of our 13 people group, made up of close friends, family and kids of ages 6 through 12. We rented 2 cabbanas and spent the whole day at the park. Service was flawless, and all the attractions were super fun. Food wasn't great, but the fresh fruits and drinks were an excellent detail that made up for that. It's great to have a chance to get amazing photos of all the adventures in the park. We made great memories together. We will absolutely come back again!
“El Dorado Park” is a perfect family getaway destination. With adrenaline packed rides such as huracán and trágame tierra with those drop’s into the water, now that’s a way to make your blood rush. I would like to add that the staff are really helpful and friendly. Everything is really clean. I would highly recommend to spend a few hundred more dollars to get a Bali bed or such more expensive, because it comes with amenities such as your oun private infinity pool, Champagne, and a personal waiter to serve you food. ( the Angus cheese and bacon burger is really good). I roughly was there from opening to closing, which gives you more time to experience everything so roughly from 10:20 to 4:45. There wasn’t much of a crowd but it depends on what day you go, my family and I went Sunday.
Milagros was an excellent host and guide! She answered all my questions and provided respectful, cordial service. Everything was ready on my arrival, and she organized my sister’s birthday activity beautifully. All the employees of the water park were very respectful and friendly.
If you are from the United States, I suggest not spending the huge amount of money for this water park. Yes, it’s clean and no lines, but it’s a lot of money for something you can experience at home for cheaper. If Your hotel doesn’t have a beach than maybe you will stay a little Longer to use the beach but that’s about it. The food is expensive and they do not let you bring in water bottles or any snacks!!! Trying to figure out how this place is still around bc it seems like there are never lines. I assume they are waiting for all the developments to be done in the area. But what we got out of it was it’s very expensive for something you can do at home.
Brilliant! Highlight of the holiday, definitely worth the visit. Went on a Thursday in Feb and was empty walked on to every slide multiple times and the lazy river was great! Only down side was staff was rude at the end when trying to buy photos would not let us buy just one… Other than that was good.
Impeccable, neat, pretty, excellent. My two kids and I had a blast , I am from Miami and I must say that this park is much better than Rapids at West Palm. It is a little expensive but for the service and experience is a must if your kids have never been to a water park.
Everyone was very hospitable. There were no lines and the waterslides were a lot of fun. The food was delicious and very well priced. We stayed the entire day and were not bored at all. Ignacio,Johangel was very nice and helpful!
We had a blast at El Dorado, it was the best part of our trip!
Great job, Aldo, Johnathan, Ignacio. Carmin!
We visited El Dorado and the experience was fantastic. The first thing you notice is the maintenance: the facilities are excellent and the park is extremely clean, which really sets it apart from others. The staff is very friendly and attentive at all times, making the stay very smooth and enjoyable. Also, the food is very good—the quality is much higher than your typical water park fare. As a suggestion to make the park even better: it would be great if they added an extreme capsule-style drop slide; it would provide that extra rush of adrenaline to round out the attractions. Definitely a place to return to and recommend!
Love the activities but the business don’t even offer a free bottle water or locker. Everything is expensive and you have to pay for everything
The park was nice however they should have at least water fountains to drink water from here should have. WiFi was not all the best.
Heito julio and rosanna were very nice ! Very good service . Would recommend them and come back here again definitely!!!
The slides and rides were amazing! Had so much fun! However things inside are a bit pricey, especially food and drinks.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience, and I can honestly say this was one of the best activities we have enjoyed as a family. We visited with my entire family — my wife, our children, my mother-in-law, and my two sisters-in-law — and from beginning to end, everything was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. First, I want to highlight Diana and Sandra, who were in charge of assisting with the water slides. Their service was truly outstanding. They were incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive, always making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. They explained everything clearly and, most importantly, they gave us plenty of time to enjoy the slides without rushing us. Their positive attitude and constant smiles made the experience even more enjoyable for both adults and children. We would also like to recognize Eric and Máximo, who were equally amazing. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help stood out immediately. They were always attentive to our needs, making sure our group was comfortable and having a great time. It is clear that they truly care about providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests. The entire staff was exceptional — respectful, organized, and always ready to assist. As a family traveling together with kids and older adults, feeling safe and well taken care of is very important to us, and this team exceeded our expectations in every way. We laughed, relaxed, and truly enjoyed every moment. The experience was fun, well-organized, and unforgettable. I can confidently say that this was a super, super excellent and wonderful experience. We highly recommend this service to families, couples, and anyone looking for a high-quality and memorable activity. We would definitely come back again without hesitation
