This is the real party thing, the place is way over the top and exhuberant. Service was fantastic. We got pickpocketed, probably at the exit. Look out! “Sad that something like that happened to ruin the fun vibe. Have fun. Be careful. Keep your stuff safe!

I have been to coco bongo many times in Mexico and Punta Cana but this time I celebrated my daughter’s 20th birthday and we received the best service hands down! Diori with the orange shirt and Johan our waiter were amazing and they made our night so much more memorable! The patience and professionalism these two gentleman had made our large party feel so at ease. What a wonderful experience!
Spectacular show. They give you a snack voucher at the door for what? If you got regular tickets you’re on the main floor and it’s packed. Forget about getting to the bar and getting the open bar drinks you paid for or getting your “snack”. You would have to rely on a server. Good luck with that.
Diori good servís and very good family whit the people
Too busy couldn’t move and lots of people shoving past all throughout the show.
Wow - this was an incredible evening! So much fun, the performers and sets were all outstanding, interjected with audience dance time and amazing pyrotechnics. All the shows were incredible and loved the roaming cameras picking people out like at a baseball game. It was totally immersive. We were there for 5hrs and it felt like 5 mins. So nice to just pay one price then not have to faff paying for drinks all night. Everyone was having a blast! Would go again tomorrow night as it was so good and you can’t absorb everything going on in one watch! Will have to come back!
EL MAS DURO DE COCO BONGO Kendric! 10/10 la atencion
Amazing like always so much fun, it’s worth it 100%, we have been there twice and on both occasions we had Francisco as our bartender, what a nice guy, the best ever, give him a raise
Carolina was the best!! She made this experience so fun
Coco Bongo Punta Cana was one of the highlights of my trip! The energy from the moment you walk in is incredible. The combination of live performances, acrobatics, music, special effects, and audience interaction creates a unique experience that feels more like a Las Vegas-style show than a nightclub. The atmosphere is electric, with something exciting happening every few minutes. The performers were extremely talented, and the production value was impressive. There was a great mix of music that kept everyone entertained, and the crowd was lively and fun. Although it can get quite crowded. If you’re visiting Punta Cana and looking for an unforgettable night out, Coco Bongo is definitely worth it. A fantastic mix of entertainment, music, and non-stop fun that I would happily do again! 🎉
Everything was perfect. Service by Francisco was exceptional, he was always there for us . This is my second time at this night club, I invited some friends and they were also so happy. 20 out of 10.
Me and husband went to coco bongos 7 years ago and we had the best night ever in Mexico cancun! Served all night and loved the show. So we thought on our honeymoon let’s try the punta Cana one. Now we got a regular ticket through TUI we were unaware that this did not include a table. Now this could be down to us but when we arrived excited we were told we weren’t allowed a table unless we spent $250+ on a bottle of a vodka (which I don’t drink) but could use the open bar included in our ticket. For one we couldn’t get to the bar it was far too busy. I got very overstimulated on the bottom floor I was pushed around and when I stood on the step to see better (as I am only small) I was asked to get down shouted at and then pushed down by a shot girl. We went to coco bongos with another couple from our hotel we all lasted one hour before we asked where the exit was. It was there first time which they also thought it was a horrible experience.. which I bigged up all the way there. If you do go there make sure you upgrade your ticket so you can actually see the show and actually have more than 2 drinks! Also the food included not sure how you would eat this? Waste of money!
Waste of money sorry ! Shows are good but way way over crowded couldnt even go to the bar. Wouldnt recommend
We didnt enjoy it. Maybe just not our thing. Service was good but the drinks were watered down. Very squashed in only to be sat in stools and the view wasnt good although we paid vip gold.
The show was cool, but service was slow, drinks lasted a loong time to get and the place was extremely crowded. We had a table and many people used it.
After paying £270 + with TUI for the Gold area experience. On arrival we were shunted up to the gods and shoehorned into a cattle pen with barely enough space to pass the person beside you to exit. The place was dangerously overcrowded and we couldn’t see any fire exit signs. If there had been a fire I know escape would have been almost non existent for those up in our sections and the casualty rate would have been worse than the recent fire in Switzerland. We asked to be moved to empty seats but we were told it would cost us more to do so even though they were in the so called Gold section. My partner had a panic attack due to the overcrowding and it took us almost 20 minutes to get through the dance hall to one of 2 exits. Now the show what we saw if it was pretty decent but to be honest save your self a few quid and find somewhere else.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Coco Bongo in Punta Cana. The venue was dangerously overcrowded—to the point where it was impossible to move or even find a place to stand. There was absolutely no chance of getting a drink. After waiting in line at the bar, we were asked to leave the queue entirely because the area was “too busy.” We paid €277 for two people, yet when we asked staff what our options were—given there was nowhere to stand and no access to drinks—we were told the only option was a €1000 upgrade for seats. No alternative, no attempt to resolve the situation, just a hard sell in an already unacceptable environment. We left after 20 minutes because we genuinely did not feel safe in such an overcrowded space. This felt less like a premium nightlife experience and more like being packed into an unsafe venue and pressured to spend an outrageous amount of money just to have basic comfort. For the price already paid, the experience was completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this venue unless you are prepared for extreme overcrowding or willing to pay a significant additional fee just to make the night tolerable.
Jose el menor mesero see mundo jose no la pass my super bien gracias ere lo mejor i will definitely come back, great time very nice
Jose is the best bar tender ever rate him 100 If i can come here as much as you can i would come here every day if i can plus every night
Yimis took care of me, my wife, and my son at Coco Bongo, and the service was outstanding. He made sure we were comfortable, guided us through everything, and ensured we had an unforgettable night. Truly top-tier hospitality.
Coco Bongo The venue was over capacity, we were crammed in like sardines. Like others who have reviewed about the lack of space, I’m sorry to report that these are pretty accurate. We basically watched the equivalent of YouTube clips of music on 2 big screens (Inbetween a few performances with real people). Along with ‘kiss cams’ of random people in the audience kissing or dancing. Clearly most people that went have never been to a live show before so I spent most of the evening with five or six mobile phones hovering around my face where people were just videoing every. single. minute. One pot bellied Mexican man spent 2.5hours crammed into my back. We were too hot, sticky and came away filthy from all the drinks that were spilled around our feet and legs. Do not wear shorts or open toes like we did! We didn’t get to use our snack voucher as we couldn’t even find where to get them from. We only managed two drinks the whole evening, once you leave your tiny little crammed area, there’s basically no return! I would hate to think what would happen if someone fainted or needed medical assistance. As 2 x mid 40s (usually very fun and not fussy) Brits, by 11pm we had enough of being stepped on, jostled and sticky from drinks dripped over our legs. So we left and went outside with what seemed like half of our coach who had also had enough by 11pm….. we had to sit around for 2 hours or pay for a £50 taxi back home. Our TUI rep promised it was 20:00 till 00:00 returning by about 1 am. However, the show ended at 01:00 so the bus home didn’t depart Punta Cana until 01:30 as the guide needed to round up the lost waifes and strays and we arrived back after all the drop-offs at 02:50am. The pick up location was not well advertised at all. We read the reviews before we booked and decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. What a waste of a night and a next morning due to lack of sleep. Leave Coco Bongo for the 20-year-olds and treat yourself to a decent dinner and show when you get home, with seating, air-conditioning and a bit more decorum! The irony of it all is that I booked the premium seated package two months before we arrived, but was talked in to a decent discount by our TUI rep so I cancelled my original booking and rebooked with him. He made out that we were getting the same deal as the one I previously booked. Doubly annoying….
It is located in the Bávaro / Punta Cana area, in the "Downtown Punta Cana" shopping center. • It is accessible from many tourist hotels, with transportation included in many packages. • It has a fairly large structure: several levels ("stands"), with differentiated spaces, which allows a variety of visibility of the show.
I had an absolutely unforgettable night at Coco Bongo in Punta Cana Bávaro! 🎉 The atmosphere was electric from the moment we walked in – amazing music, incredible performances, and such high energy all around. The shows were a perfect mix of acrobatics, live music, and entertainment that kept us excited the whole night. The staff was super friendly and everything felt very well organized. I also loved how the crowd was so international – it made the whole experience even more fun and lively. If you’re in Punta Cana and looking for a night full of entertainment, dancing, and pure fun, Coco Bongo is definitely a must-visit!
Great experience, Tuesday night queue moved rapidly, not too crowded, no problems getting to the bar. Shows were great, staff helpful. Shout to the steward on the left of the bar who just managed to clear the confetti off the floor as the next cannon went off, if it was me I’d have quit by 10pm 🤣
Terrible. No privacy in toilets, was a victim of an attempted sexual assault. No stalls to urinate in, and some one tried to grab my penis. I am scared for life.
We had such a great time—definitely a memorable day! We drink and dance all night ! A experience you shouldn’t miss. Luis bought us the ticket even when the place was sold out
Best show we have been to!! It sounded pricey at 1st but the atmosphere, the acts, the dancers were all worth it we opted for the open bar and didn't choose seating. My partner amd I danced all night. The tribute acts and costumes and staff performers were all fantastic. It's such an experience and I would go back again.
Regarding Coco Bongo Punta Cana Excursion Sold by TUI I am writing to formally raise a serious concern regarding an excursion to Coco Bongo that was sold to my family and me by one of your representatives during our recent holiday. We were told it would be a fantastic show, and based on that recommendation, we booked the experience at €77 per person, which included a standing area and open bar. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and, more importantly, unsafe. Upon arrival: We were herded into long queues with minimal guidance. The staff emphasized we must not be sick as there would be a fine, which was an odd and off-putting warning. We were told digital cameras were not allowed, which felt restrictive and suspicious. Once inside, the venue was dangerously overcrowded, with barely any space to stand or move. There were no clearly marked emergency exits, which is a serious safety hazard. The venue felt chaotic and unorganised. After two shows, we felt uncomfortable and unsafe, so we left early. We then had to pay for our own taxi back to the hotel, adding to the unexpected costs. The only positive aspect was the first part of the show, which was entertaining. However, this does not justify the risk and discomfort we experienced. I am shocked and disappointed that a reputable company like TUI would promote such an overcrowded, disorganized, and hazardous environment. We trusted TUI to provide safe and enjoyable excursions — this was far from it.
€80 to share 1 square meter with 8 gyrating men. It’s unbelievable that this is even legal. A crying shame because the performers are fantastic. Do not let the videos and positive reviews fool you. Unless you pay for seating (double the price) there is no way anyone should enable this business. This is coming from a 33 year old male who loves a good party.
Absolutely waste of money. The drinks are watered down, and there is nothing space to move. It's a health hazard, if a fire broke out you will be in trouble coz it was like a bunch of sardines. Worse experience ever.
Brilliant show & great fun, all round an amazing experience. A must do for young people or groups visiting Punta Cana!!!
This venue was a major disappointment. We attended on a Friday night (4/4/25) with Open Bar tickets costing $90 each, and the experience was far from worth it. There’s only one bar, located at the entrance before the main event area. Once you're inside, it's nearly impossible to leave your spot, grab a drink, and return without a struggle. The layout is poorly designed, with a single entrance that also serves as the exit, which created an extremely unsafe and overcrowded environment. It was dangerously packed that night—we felt like sardines. People were constantly bumping into us, spilling drinks, stepping on our feet, invading personal space, and brushing up inappropriately as they squeezed through the crowd. We ended up leaving early because the chaos became unbearable. Trying to exit was a nightmare, as incoming guests refused to move or make room. In an emergency, it’s easy to imagine things turning tragic. I personally witnessed two people experiencing seizures who had a very difficult time getting help and exiting the venue. Overselling tickets to this degree is not just irresponsible—it’s a safety hazard. The show itself was decent, but if you're in the Open Bar section, be prepared to stand for nearly five hours. Comfortable shoes are a must. After we left, we ended up across the street at The Patrona, and just watched the ongoing crowd funnel into what felt like a disaster waiting to happen. If you’re still curious about this event, I strongly recommend splurging on VIP tickets with a table in the upper level—it seems to be the only way to experience the show with any comfort, though the price is steep and not ideal for families. Sadly, we won’t be returning to this location.
This was a night out like no other. Absolutely bonkers, you got no idea what’s going to happen next. One minute it’s rap music, next it’s squid games scenes then rolls into MJ. The place is a must visit. We basically had our own bartender for the evening on our open bar. Aneudi paulino is the best barman I’ve ever dealt with and should be promoted. He made the night even better.
The positive is it was entertaining. When I walked in I thought what am I doing here. It’s crowded and no chairs just stools and lots of young people dancing provocative dancing. Our ticket was vip which included seating new stage open bar and a snack: The show had Good music beautiful costumes and provocative choreography and music videos blaring in the background with balloons and shredded paper flying exciting vibe but I just don’t recommend it for the older crowd.. I am in my late 60’s and my partner is in his 70’s. I was done by 11:30 and wanted to leave. Our tour bus to bring us back to the hotel only arrived at 1:00 am. I found it too long and finding our bus was also so confusing because the bus drivers do not speak English and the bus companies don’t provide translators. I had to ask the bus driver several times in my poor Spanish if he was going to our hotel since the Bahai Principe has several hotels on the resort I did manage in the end and got to our hotel.
The staff was more worried about keeping men off the dancing platform than kicking out those who were over served. There was a guy falling over drunk, into people and looking like he was about to vomit. The staff were just laughing at him instead of kicking him out. The transportation was unprofessional. Half of the buses didn’t have their numbers displayed. Our bus driver was missing in action with his number hidden. The manager of the bus transport was also no where to be found. When the driver finally appeared the whole group was soaked from rain. The shows were cool.
went to coco bongo to see the show and the show itself was very nice but i paid 170 dollars for premiun open bar and when i ask the cocktail waiter for a don julio he said it was not include it in the premiun open bar. so dont waste your money and just pay regular entrance wich is 85 dollars
This was a loud crazy experience. it is mainly a disco with incremental performances from the dancers. They would imitate popstars, dance and do aerial shows. it was impressive but they pack far too many people in. We stood for 4 hours in a very crowded room, nowhere to move, constantly being bumped and pushed, if we paid $170 each we could get a seat but we felt it was just too much to spend. If you have the budget go for a seat, you get drinks service too. We had to queue at the bar. they had a twerk cam and kept getting audience members up on a podium to twerk, not my scene tbo. certainly an experience never to be repeated. Was quite deaf when I came out.
Such an amazing night- shows are incredible and place has a great atmosphere. We had pit standing and could see everything
This place is so fun. The dancing and the atmosphere is amazing. I’ve been to a lot of clubs around the world and this is for sure a favorite. I’m in my young 20’s but the crowd was for everyone.
What an awful and undignified experience. If you're looking to dance and have a good time, I'd recommend avoiding it altogether. It was shocking to see how they promote the objectification of women there.
Amazing performances! Music and dancing was so much fun! A couple of things to know: We felt very safe there. Lots of safety guards. Open bar = watered down. The show, music and dancing are fabulous! The GUESTS get WILD when the camera is on them. Get ready for some lude dance moves and maybe some exposed body parts! We thought it was funny tho. It’s a great place for some adult fun. I went with my 2 adult college kids bc I was didn’t want them to end up wasted and I like a good dance club. So it was all ages there. Finding our transportation at the end was easy but we weren’t drunk so it may be tricky for anyone who’s impaired. It’s a long night of music, drinking and dancing.
Awesome experience. Well organized, great staff, and the best tour guy. We had an open bar so drinks were on the house. Strongly recommended those tickets!… besides that… enjoy every step of a night full of energy and good vibes! If you are interested… the man who made it possible for us was Fabrice (+18494589874) hit him up!!
Not enough compliments to this venue! Absolutely fantastic! I m still in awe! The level of details and quality of the performances are FANTASTIC! Everything is flawless from the cleanliness, organization, special effects, audio, SERVICE IS TOP TOP TOP NOTCH!! LEYFFER WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND! super patient and friendly! I HIGHLY recommend this show!!! $85 with open bar! More than worthy
Expensive, impossible to get to the bar, they charge for everything extra, there is no space, only those they consider suitable "women showing skin" are given a place without paying.
They picked us up at the Ocean Blue Hotel to take us to Coco Bongo, which is a beautiful place, with excellent service and also the ability to enjoy various shows to never forget. Performances with wonderful characters, music, and above all the surprises and entertainment they offer. We recommend it to anyone visiting Punta Cana who wants to take home a great memory.
It is a wonderful place, with excellent service and various shows that transport us back in time with a series of performances not to be forgotten.
Excellent service from Yimis, very attentive and responsible.
Super great service Enmanuel
