Punta Cana Buggy 4x4 & Horseback Riding Combo : Cave & Countryside

The buggy ride was fun. But the horseback riding wasn’t planned so they kind of winged it and took us down some paths and we went to the beach for five minutes with the horses so that was kind of weird . I really wanted the whole beach experience with the horses. Don’t get sucked into the Photography, because it was very lame for the money. He took the same shots. Maybe we had a total of five or six that he just airdropped us and it was a lot of money. So just take your own pictures. I was like 20 of the same picture. I’m giving an average since the buggy was fun and we still enjoyed ourselves despite. For man that was our guide was nice. . It just wasn’t very well planned and it wasn’t what I thought it would be.

If you book for 2 people to ride separately on ATV. When you get there they charge you double saying the reservation was for 2 people to ride together. It’s all a hustle. They charge for lockers, pictures. They try to sell you things before the trip begins. Then there a guy who’s gonna off you a private tour for an additional $110. The ATV are raggedy cutting off on your. We paid for zip line and horseback riding. Only got to ATV. But every where they take up it’s somebody in your face trying to sell you something. You literally only ride collectively for about 45 min at a very slow pace.

A great experience! Wonderful adventure but be aware everyone is looking for a tip or donation!!!!!!

That was the scariest experience I've ever had. 1st the excursions did not start until 4pm, we did not sign a waiver or get ANY instructions about ride. 2nd no one spoke English. 3rd the guy gave us grief about the lead traveler no being that but our travel agent contacted Viator before the excursion to let them know the lead passenger lost past port and was not able to make trip. 4th the guy that took us on the excursion left us because the was many people in front of us and one buggy broke down in front of us. We were left at night and it was raining super hard. The road was extremely muddy to where you wasn't sure how deep the puddle is. No one communicated with us at all!!!!

It was a fun experience!!! We all enjoyed it!!! A must do in Dominican Republic!!! The beach was nice, we passed by a store where we had free tastings of coffee, tea, and mamajuana! Cenote cave swimming was cool!

The staff and tour was amazing would definitely recommend. Upon arrival the staff were very attentive and explained everything.

We had a great time. We booked last minute with no hassle!! Had a wonderful time and will highly recommended. Would have love to stay longer at the beach but it was good because we had the best yuca empanadas

If you are planning on doing atv/ horseback in Punta Cana, avoid using Owen Dominican Tours! Unprofessional, rude, and unorganized. Waited over an hour from the scheduled time to be picked up the from hotel. Driver spoke no English and was yelling at his phone the whole trip. Finally got to ranch, and no one greeted us or told us where to go. Several groups there and was chaos! They did not have enough horses or atvs for my group, so we had to share! Horseback was only a 5min ride up the block and back! 4 atvs during our ride broke down and had to wait! When the tour was over, we had to wait over an hour for them to take us back because the van was in the shop! Driver had open beer bottle and told us to hold it while he drove and they switched drivers midway. Worst atv horseback experience ever@

Need new buggy and ATVs my niece, ATV kept breaking down people was real friendly need more room for the horseback riding pictures was way too expensive, but it was a pretty good experience

The trip is advertised as a Buggy AND horse riding on a beach. Horse riding was the main reason I booked it. Unfortunately that part only took 3 minutes! and not on the beach but on a littered dirt track behind it…whole trip was very rushed I think to make up time lost by the driver who was 40min late picking us up… As usual there’s some merch pushing along the way, which is fine albeit a bit annoying - don’t really want to listen to a 15min long sales pitch on holidays but ok.. in general if you want buggies there are better companies for it. The horse riding element is virtually non existent and should be dropped or extended to make it count. Wouldn’t book again as not worth the $180. Disappointing

I had a great time. However in the beginning they spend an hour trying to get you to buy pictures and souvenirs. It is hot and we wanted to start our excursion, the four wheelers are so much fun but some did run out of gas. They were good about fixing the problems! You get to see the village and how it is to live in DR by driving through the villages. Kids asked for money, and it was hard because the tour guide said to not give them any. You go to the cave and Macao beach and can go horde back riding but I wouldn’t recommend it because they are skinny and look malnourished. (Please take better care of your animals). Other than that it was fun. It’s adrenaline rushing and be prepared to get muddy!!

It was a unique experience to live that adrenaline rush. It was the best recommended 100% excellent service without a doubt I would return again

How delighted with this excursion I liked it very much I felt alone at the time of booking but then the team did its job I would do it five times more and I recommend it 100%

The driver was a bit late, however responsive at communication! He let me know in advance about this, the beach was closed due to holiday however I wasn’t told so we missed out the Macao beach tour however owner was nice enough to give us longer time for the atv and other activities! Which compensated it ! Thank you

Don’t recommend this tour machines were junk the places they take you are full of people pressuring you to by expensive trinkets

Tour very top where we can drive the Bugues or Quadriciclos, we know a bit of the local culture and handicraft products, Macao beach with paradisiac setting where we took beautiful photos and the best was the Cenote. But don't forget to dive, it's very top.

Even though the time is short, the feeling of the 4X4 is phenomenal and even more so with a partner until some 🏍️ races we compete Go out and don't stop visiting, you will have fun
