We were staying at Royalton Bavaro and didn’t realized that the pick up was outside of the resort. We almost missed the bus because of it. The excursion overall was okay, I feel we got what we paid for. It was crowded from beginning to end. The buggy ride was fun but there were too many people in a group combined with other groups. The cenote swim was very crowded as well. Basically there was a line of people down the narrow staircase leading into a cave. You dip it, they take a picture, you get out. The tasting was more of a sales pitch for products, it was far from “typical Dominican house” they advertise. Every step of the way is a sales pitch. Even for the ride, they want you to buy bandanas for $5 and goggles for $20. They want you to buy things in a souvenir shop and give you a shopping cart. They take pictures multiple times and want you to buy them. It felt like a giant sales pitch. One nice part of the trip was Macao Beach. I wish we could spend more time there.

Nice fun fun experience, but arrival felt rushed, and meeting at the resort gate wasn’t communicated.
Great fun! Must bring scarf for your mouth, very dusty! Can get super crowded. Don’t expect to drive fast, but do expect horses on the same road.
Nice ride through the area Emmanuel was the tour guide.
Experience was amazing and the guide was great!
10/10 worth every dollar manuel is great worth every dollar dont miss out on it
Amazing host and beautiful tour. Everyone was friendly. Definitely worth going!
This experience was mediocre, we would not do it again- here is why: To start, the pickup/dropoff at our resort was timely and communication for that was great. The buggy was fun to experience, but there is only ONE mud puddle to go through and it smells like sewer. You spend about 1 hour total driving the buggy. Photographer taking pictures to buy at the end- all pictures for $40 (negotiable). The first stop was a hut with overpriced souvineers, pushy sellers, and good tastings of mamajuana, hot chocolate, and coffee. Spent too much time here. No photographer. Next stop was the stunning Macao beach, of which you had pushy sellers talking to you and only 15 minutes to enjoy the water/beach. No photographer. Last stop was the cave- best part of the trip. Pushy sellers once again. SO busy to get into the cave, took about 10 minutes of waiting in a line, a quick jump in, get out after about one minute, and NO PHOTOGRAPHER😭 What is the point of having a professional photographer in the group if he is not going to the stops? Half of the reason I booked this trip was for a cave picture- and there were other photographers there taking our pictures, but the were with other businesses and no way we could purchase them. How disappointing. OH and when we got out of the cave, we went to find our group and they had started leaving us on the buggies. Apparently they didn't have enough time dedicated to jumping in the cave and going to the bathroom. Overall- I would give this a 4/10. Mediocre experience but would not do it again with this company.
Experience was good, guides weee very friendly, atv’s need lots of maintenance
Super fun and wonderful tour guide.
No instructions so I had to let the family know what’s up because I been to another location before. Buggy was old and kept stopping in traffic and we had to stayed back the entire time. Wish they had or purchase newer ones. Kids love it but not the part that we had to keep calling for help to get it started. Will do it again but maybe another company.
We most enjoyed the cave and the buggy rides. The communication and time table however, was lacking.
It was a great experience, prepare to get dirty, don't watch some reviews experience it for yourself
Just wrapped up an unforgettable ATV excursion and WOW — what a ride! 🏍️💨 From the moment we started, the adrenaline kicked in. The trails were the perfect mix of rugged, scenic, and just challenging enough to keep things exciting. We cruised through dirt paths, splashed through muddy patches, and climbed some seriously fun hills — all with incredible views along the way. 🌄 The guides were super friendly and made sure everyone felt safe and confident, whether it was your first time or you’ve ridden before. Safety gear was provided, instructions were clear, and the whole experience felt well-organized. If you’re looking for an adventure that gets your heart racing and lets you explore the outdoors in a unique way, an ATV excursion is definitely worth it. I’d do this again in a heartbeat! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike!
Awesome experience! The staff was very knowledgeable, we felt safe, and had a blast. Many experiences packed in one excursion. Worth every penny!
Everything was perfect. Good buggies, good ATVs cool spots!
The whole family loved the four person UTV. We drove through all the mud and got muddy. The beaches were beautiful water was calm and warm, perfect balance of riding and leisure.
Tour guide was amazing very amazing ❤️🇩🇴🇩🇴so much love make sure to wear face cover up gets really muddy but was a 10/10
It’s very fun ensure that you wear cover up’s because it could get really messy
Amazing experience, a lot of fun, and everyone was super nice
3 hour ATV tour with the option to swim. Pick-up from the resort and waiting takes around an hour or so. We felt like it was worth the price we paid.
The experience was great and the tour guy was really nice to us. Really enjoyed the ride.
Really fun experience! It’s a long trip with fun stops. 10/10
Loved our tour with Gregory! Bring a bandana the roads get dusty!
Great place to visit, had a blast would definitely do again!
Manuel was an amazing guide!! So fun - wish we went faster haha
very fun and they took care of the minor incidents
awesome experience with good guide
So much fun! Highly recommend!
The tour was nice. The tour guides were attentive. Do not wear your best clothes, you will get muddy Do not order food from the beach! It was overpriced and horrible.
We had an amazing time on this tour.
Amazing experience great tour guide
The tour itself was good but while in the cenote, the mount on my GoPro snapped and it sunk down to the bottom right off the diving platform, I attempted to dive down a few times to find it but without a mask, I didn't have much luck. One of the tour operators offered to help me for a fee. He tried a few times but then sent the on my way to continue the tour assuring me he would keep looking and bring it to me at the beach (next part of the tour). Nobody ever arrived at the beach. Upon returning back to the start point of the tour, nothing was mentioned until I asked again and they assured me it would be found and returned. They took my phone number down and said they would call the next day once they had searched again (for a fee). I also sent a message to the main office explaining what had happened and they also assured me that they would look for it and return it to me. 5 days later: no camera, no more responses to messages. My deduction: they either didn't continue looking as promised or found it and kept it.
This was a truly valuable experience. We weren’t expecting to get so muddy, but it was worth it. The staff was well-coordinated, friendly, and attentive. The last stop on the beach was well-received by everyone. I would highly recommend this tour. The only minor issue/constructive criticism was (1) the stop to jump in the water at the cave which we didn’t do as it didn’t appear too safe to us (others did jump in) and (2) communication regarding the pickup time. It was a bit confusing because we thought it was 11:30 am, but they showed up at 10:45 am. I suggest you clarify this when booking.
I’d chalk this excursion up to “you get what you pay for”! First off, our driver couldn’t get into the resort…not sure why, but after about 30+ minutes they let him in…which of course was a whole experience. The overall excursion was just meh…the buggy’s are old, poor brakes, hard to handle. There are no helmets, though I saw other tour groups with them. To get away from the resort and see a few things for a cheap price, it’s okay. The beach experience was nice, though the locals immediately flock to sell you things. We did get some really nice pictures! I’d def go with a different company if we do this on our next visit.
My rating isn’t a knock at the people, they were great. However, my Buggy had terrible brakes and apparently the guy behind me too. He slammed into the back of us because he couldn’t stop. Furthermore, helmet gear is not included which would be a little safer. Personally, the cave was lackluster. But could be cool for someone who’s experiencing it for the first time. Also, I bought a small batch of mamajuana ( a popular Dominican drink) only to find out it was x5 of what I could have paid at the resort. As stated before the people were nice, and the route was good. The beach was nice also. It has potential, just wasn’t my best experience.
Very helpful & pleasant people, I would come back again!!! The tour was 3 hours and 3 stops! $80 USD.
Staff amazing, stops are good . Second stop alot of people trying to get you to shop with them. The route was amazing and dirty💜😂
We loved loved everything about this excursion! Staff was nice and knowledgeable and made it fun. Pictures that were taken was top tier for a reasonable price. I would definitely do this again when visiting the DR again.
It was fun. Worth the money. I will do it again
Very good experience, very good photos taken. All of this to make the bed memories !! I recommend.
Amazing experience, thank you to the team !
It was so much fun! 10 outta 10!!
The buggy experience was amazing, it was really fun and they paid attention to us a lot making sure we feel safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend.
Wait wait wait!! Waited an hour to begin tour. Waited a half hour to transport back to hotel. Was late so the guide told us they would drop us first…lied to us. Every stop we made we were bombarded by folks wanting us to buy something.
The ride was amazing and the cave was great amazing beach good food great people 🫶……….❤️………………………………………………………………..
Awful experience, the guides were rude and our ATV kept shutting down and steering to the left very hard, several buggies from other clients broke down aswel, halfway through the tour they finally gave us another ATV but the breaks barely worked and we were never given any helmets either. The tour was slow and when we arrived at the beach they charged us 25 USD for a piña colada. Overal horrible experience and would not recommend.
kesony and Gregory they really took good care of us . i highly recommend anyone coming to this place …please look for them they are the best i loved it
Kitson was the best tour guide ever‼️ We really enjoyed my cousin Tanya 50th Birthday Trip… can’t wait to come back again
We spent 2 hours sitting outside waiting with our kids for absolutely nothing. No one even showed up. Kids are devastated. Dont waste your money or time. This is garbage.
