Punta Cana Atv And Buggy Adventure With Macao Beach & Taino Cave

It was a fun and great experience. The rain fell in the beginning making it even more enjoyable with the mud ride.

It was a nice ride but so much time wasted. The tour started well past the time they stated. Went to the cave, no information was given about it. No soon as we got into the water they said it was time to go. The stops were incredibly short with very little information given. We did this tour to go mudding and we only went through one puddle which just happened to be on our tour.

The experience was good and the tour was well done. I would have liked the bandana and eye protection to be provided as a loan with the experience. Lack of safety for mud in the eyes and dust in breathing ways. I’d rather the booking be $10 more to include borrowing these instead of buying them. There also wasn’t any mud on the trails like the picture. One good splash area and it even rained the day before. Having members with buckets at these spots would make it better.

Amazing experience, people were friendly and entertaining. Remember to bring water, masks/bandana, and sunglasses for the dust (Very expensive if you buy from them).

It was ok for what it was. The English for instructions and information on the tour was limited, but almost everybody in our group spoke Spanish except us so that could be why. The stop at the Dominican village was good if you haven’t heard that information before, but the stop at the cenote had WAY too many people in a very small space due to other tours as well. The beach was good and had a few vendors for souvenir shopping off resort, which is nice. If this is the only one you do and have nothing to compare it to, it’s probably OK. But we had done a different one earlier in the week that was just a much better experience.

approx. 10 minutes in on the tour our machine ran out of gas. Naturally the tour went on without us . We sat in the machine approx 45 minutes waiting for gas to be brought out so we could continue. This obviously greatly affected our enjoyment of the tour and being able to keep up with the rest of the family. we made a report of the incident with the rep at the resort when we returned but never heard any more about it. Also the transfer when we arrived in punta cana to our resort was chaotic. It was poorly organized to get us from the terminal to the bus.

My experience was great. I had fun. It’s honestly worth the price. I did not enjoy the food at the beach but it tour itself was great! Manuel is an amazing and honest host!

Great day spent getting dirty. Stops were interesting. It was great seeing some of the Dominican countryside. Make sure you wear clothes that wash well or you can get rid of due to the mud. Staff was exceptional and made sure nobody was left behind.

Good tour. Enjoyed every bit. Book your travel with them. Affordable. Great people. Many stops. Love it.

I have done this tour a few times over the years with different companies. I would say even though the experience was not bad it also was not great. The tour started late. We had to move buggies due to ours being broke, other buggies broke down along the way. I would recommend using a different company.

I would not recommend this tour if safety is your priority. While it was definitely authentic and fun, there were some serious safety concerns. We were not given helmets, which was surprising. Two of the buggies broke down during the tour—one of them was ours. The brakes stopped working, and halfway through the ride they had to shut off our engine because we couldn’t stop safely. All of the buggies appeared to be hotwired, which was pretty alarming to me. That said, the staff themselves were very fun, friendly, and genuinely tried their best to help throughout the experience. This tour feels much more like a mom-and-pop operation rather than a professionally run company. If you’re looking for a more safety-focused tour, this is not the one for you. We did have fun overall, but it was definitely scary at times.

The pick up location was not clear. We had to walk far to the front security gate because the company was not allowed in the hotel gate. The amount of people on this tour was also insane. We paid for 2 seat buggies, but they ran out so we had to take a 4 seater. We were not able to jump in the water in the cave as there were so many people crowded dangerously on the steps and if we wanted to jump in, they were charging $1 to hold our things. There were also many breakdowns on the trail and by the time we got to the beach we had under 5 minutes to enjoy it. It just simply wasn’t the tour that we had expected. The only good thing was that they took good pictures (for an extra cost of course). There may be a better company that runs these buggy tours but this was a complete waste of a day.

So much fun, be prepared to get dirty!!! The cave was nice and so was the beach. You should really try out this excursion.

Long ride and was able to see a good part of the country. From beginning to the end everything was great.

Great experience driving and Antonio was a great guide. Went during seaweed season so the beach only was nice to look at. Cenote is crowded. Overall it was a good experience for the money. Everyone was super friendly as well.

Absolutely amazing time! It was everything they said it would be. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is shopping at that onsite store. Everything is over priced and you can find all the same stuff cheaper in other places and at the airport.

Great experience! I read a lot of reviews about poor communication but did not experience this. We got our pick up info late the night before but with plenty of time to plan!

Wish we rode longer in between breaks. We stopped pretty early on in the ride. Overall good had food and stopped at a cave to swim

Riding the buggys was fun but the locations we went to werent great. The beach was full of seaweed. They should choose a different place to take us. It was very unsightly. The cave is cool but not very lit up need more lights.

Tour ATV and buggy in Punta Cana Dominican Republic Activity Provider Tropical Thrills is terrible, they do not communicate don’t answer phone. They did not tell us the beach portion of the excursion was closed until we arrived. The trip states 2:30 pm for 4 hours. We begin at 3:20 pm and was back at 6:10 pm. The transportation was even worse they picked us up at 1:10 pm we didn’t arrive to place until 3 pm and same amount of time going back. This is the worse excursion I have ever been on.

A rushed a chaotic start. The first buggy we were in, the steering wheel did not work and we lost control. Instead of getting help, we were shouted at. Once we reported it to another person we were given one that did work which was good.

Denai was an amazing tour guid. He was so kind and chill. Took us to the most beautiful cenote and beach. We got to taste chocolate and have a nice cigar!! Will recommend for sure!!

The experience was sensational!!! The tour guide was so friendly, allowed us to take our time and enjoy our experience! However, the itinerary started an hour late than the scheduled time.

Had a great experience with my wife and two sons. The crew was very helpful and kept us safe while we explored the island. Though it was a bit dusty they prepared us and let us know upfront. Sunglasses and masks are a definite. We rode the ATV and had the buggy both Were great. The bus ride there was a little hectic, but other than that it was a totally fun, family experience and I recommend.

Very well organized. Just be prepared to get dirty! It’s all part of the experience, and totally worth it for the laughs and memories you’ll make.

This excursion was an absolute blast—loud, muddy, and filled with unforgettable moments! I cherished every second of the adventure. My only wish is that there had been a bit more communication; there were times when I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do. But honestly, that didn’t take away from the fun at all!

Different places to stop. The guide Denis was very friendly. We had a lot of fun trying local drinks and driving with buggies.

We had fun seeing the beach and jumping in the water cave. It was very dusty but not very muddy. We had plenty of time at each stop and didn’t feel pressured to buy anything.

This was a good experience. There was a slight mix-up with my hotel pickup, and I was given short notice of a new pick-up location within 10 mins when my initial time wasn't for another hour. But I do appreciate the consistent communication from the representatives, and they also offered to reimburse my Uber transportation to the pickup location, which was nice. The tour itself was fun, but we did have a LOT of issues with the buggy. It cut off throughout the entire tour at least 20 times ( no exaggeration). That was very frustrating because it held up the riders behind us as well. Some would go around us, and then we would catch up to the rest of the group. They should make sure all buggies are running properly because we weren't the only ones to cut off during the tour, ours just cut off more frequently than others. I must say, the guides were very quick to get us restarted each time. The 3 stops were nice and short. The ranch was nice with souvenirs. I didn't appreciate being charged $20 for 1 drink. I don't like when people take advantage of tourists like that. The beach was nice with many vendors. I got cute pictures with a parrot for $5. The third stop was a bit crowded but worth the dip in the cenote. The photography is top-notch. A purchase package is offered at the end of the tour. I think it would be nice to have various picture packages for those who may want fewer pictures. Maybe a package for 1, 3, 5, or all photos would be nice. Overall , I would recommend the tour to others. We enjoyed it, hiccups and all.

Multiple ATV’s stopped working on our tour which caused a lot of us to have to stop and wait for the rest of the group. The coffee tasting experience was fun though!
