The worse experience they don’t pick you up the meet up spot was a lie I went there they oh no we change it last min i end up not doing it
This was the worst service. The address on the ticket is incorrect, then we texted the wats app number and was given 2 other incorrect addresses. At this point the time was past the meet up time. They then said it’s nothing they could do.
My friend and I did this excursion and I had more fun than I was even expecting. Thomas was our tour guide and he was very nice. They had a cameraman taking photos. I viewed the photos and they were very nice, but the prices kept changing which made me decide not to buy them. Also, what happened to the days when your pictures were printed? They wanted to e-mail me the pics but I do not have an international plan and there was no way I felt guaranteed to receive them. (Already got scammed by another place that sent me pictures of total strangers!) Other than the pictures (which the booking did clearly state were not included) I had an awesome time on this excursion! The hotel pick-up was accurate to the minute, no transportation problems. Someone did reach out to me the day before the excursion to say my time was not available. I did purchase this quite a bit in advance but they offered another reasonable time on the same day so all in all it was fine.
I was always told it's cheaper to get excursions on your own. I tried that with this company and never again. All resorts have pick up locations and this company didn't pick up at the designated spot. Their pickup location was away from the hotel (although it clearly states hotel pickup) an area before you get to the resort without wifi. As a result, even though I communicated my location with the company 25 minutes before my designated pickup time hoping to be guided to the right spot using the text chain they created I wasn't picked up. Then they didn't want to refund me which is the obvious thing to do in this case. Extremely bad customer service!
Thomas our tour head was awesome as well as our camera guy. I can’t remember his name but he made our pictures look fire. Steven at the coffee plantation was very down to earth and informative. This was a pretty good excursion. I would advise you get the Polaris because it sits up higher unless you like the mad mud splatter and don’t wear anything you want to wear again.
It was a nice trip. The photographer was very bothersome to take our pictures even though we repeatedly told him that we’re not going to buy the photos. Especially on the beach, which wasted some of our time considering we only had 15 minutes there. I expect the locals to bother us, not someone who is with the actual company that we paid for. We were on an ATV but the ride was too slow, there should be an ATV guide leading in front, not the buggy, it’s too slow and makes it boring.
It was a great adventure, awesome people since arrival and departure. Pick up time on time they were waiting for us before we got to the point of picking up. I will do it again without a doubt.
Very friendly staff. Wonderful scenery. Worth every penny. I love every minute. My husband and I are planning to do this again
Great excursion, very exciting and fun. Single rider ATV is the best. Hotel pick up and drop was on time and very curtious. Very good company will definitely use them again.
We chose ATVing as one of our 2 excursions during our week stay in Punta Cana. We really liked this company as they were very nice, helpful, and the group size was not very big. We had a group of 3 ATV's (including the guide) and 3 buggies. This made the stops more enjoyable as you were not in a huge group. We passed many other buggy/ATV groups from other companies that had 20+ vehicles in one group. Being in a smaller group we were given more attention and better tips. We also had the natural cave swimming hole all to ourselves which was very cool. We would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for an ATV or buggy excursion in Punta Cana.
It was my first time ever on atvs, wasn’t sure how to drive and they didn’t really give much instruction but once you look at others you catch on really quickly, it was a beautiful scenic atv ride mixed with dune buggy’s. Not sure if it’s meant to be mixed as we had to go the same speed at the others but for my first time I was okay with it. You go thru concrete roads, dirt roads and muddy roads so expect to get dirty. There are locals high-fiving you as you go from location to location. Your wrists will get tired but the experience overall is neat. Wish there was more time at the beach tho especially on such a gorgeous day. Spent literally 10 mins at the beach and 5 of those minutes were parking the atvs. Overall I had a great first experience and recommend it at the beginner level. Oh and you can purchase tix directly from them but may get an error that says it failed but really it processed so I got charged a couple times but they reimbursed my multiple purchases. DR is a beautiful country!
Great activity to do while here on DR. Great service and hospitality! Takes you for a ride you won’t forget!
You're really out there. U will get dirty, buy it is fun. The tour guides are very helpful. You really have to know what you're getting into. It is scary, but fun.
I recommend this activity to anyone staff are very friendly and respectful. Carlos was very nice and super helpful he make sure that the group remains together all the time we felt safe and we enjoyed our experience
We booked the 4x4 ATV ride with little to none information through expedia, but to our surprise, it was a lot more than we bargained for. The best surprise was the stop at Macao Beach... its amazing! The crew was always accommodating and very friendly. I didn't have a chance to get my pictures while on site (they don't accept American Express), but they followed up with me giving me an opportunity to get the pics. The entire experience has been A++. Highly recommended
All I have to say is its worth every penny definitely Gald i booked it. Only one issue with the driver getting into my resort because sercurity was no joke but Michael took care of everything!!!
My bf & I really enjoyed this activity we had a really good time. The best part of it was jumping in the 25ft cave we really enjoyed that. Everything was nice I recommend this activity 100%. You can’t miss the chocolate tasting that was amazing.
I recommend this activity to anyone who doesn’t mind getting a little muddy. My husband and I had an amazing time, our tour guide, Carlos, was very informative and super helpful. He made sure that the group remained together at all times. The ATV Experience allowed us to taste samples of Dominican Cacao & Coffee!! As well as experience Playa of Macao & the Taino Cave. Best experience thus far. We would love to do it over again!
The bus driver and instructors were great! The host at the stop we made to try mamajuana was hilarious. Overall great experience
I would like to thank this company for one of the greatest activity that we have experienced. We booked the ATV riding and it was amazing. The company picked us up from the hotel, took us to the ATV’s, explained everything, and through the activity we got to stop and learn about the Dominican coffee, we stopped at local souvenir shops, and one of the nicest and clearest beach ever. I would like to thank them for having this activity, and for the amount we paid (which is very reasonable) we got a lot out of it.
This was very cool. Wish it was a better beach that we were taken too but the tour guides were great. The mamajuana and the coconut oil that they sell is the BEST. Make sure you’re ready to get dirty!
My wife and I rode on an ATV together. Not only is the ATV option cheaper than the dune buggy, but ATV sits higher off the ground and the mud won't kick up in your face. At the end of the trip, my wife and I had some mud spots on our legs meanwhile everyone who rode a dune buggy was covered head to toe in mud spatters. There is an outdoor community rinse off area available when you return from the trip though. The first destination was accessed by a dirt road along stretches of farmland. It was a hut with chocolate, coffee, and Mamajuana for sale. There were samples of each. The tastes and smells were fantastic, but the prices seemed a bit high and my bag was not large enough to carry anything I could have bought. Along the way there were multiple children who ran up to us and handed my wife little flowers they picked and asked for money in return. This sort of thing was common throughout the trip. The second stop was a cave with a beautiful blue pool of water at the bottom of stone stairs. We had to be careful walking down the stairs because they got slick from the water dripping off people who were leaving the cave. Many of our group jumped in the waterThere were lots of merchants there who were very pushy in the selling of their wares. My wife guilt-tripped me into buying a necklace for $20, which was probably worth less than half that. The guy selling the necklace insisted on putting the necklace on me himself. When my wife and I walked back to the ATV to leave, I could feel the necklace falling down my shirt. I believe the guy who sold me the necklace intentionally left the barrel clasp loose so it would fall off quickly without me noticing and he could scoop up the necklace to sell to another tourist. The third stop was at a very pretty beach. It was very busy with tourists and merchants alike and the latter were also very pushy. There were multiple guys with iguanas and small monkeys walking around letting you take pictures with them on your head/shoulder. We only stayed for about 30 minutes before the guide wanted us to leave. We were followed back to our ATV by young boys who threw themselves at our feet with coarse brushes in hand to clean the sand off our shoes despite us politely declining. Be prepared. We brought plenty of clean drinking water, a kerchief to protect our faces from dust, sunscreen, and wore water shoes. It was a fun trip, but felt rushed because the guides were focused on keeping the schedule.
4 wheelers were breaking down, the route was too crowded, and the locals were begging for money while waiting for 4 wheelers to be repaired. The stops and sights were very interesting and genuine to the area.
This excursion was so much fun. We saw so much packed into one excursion. Loved the cave, and the coffee presentation.
It was one of the best experiences of my life!!! 10/10 recommend!!! You get your money’s worth for this trip!
We had a wonderful time. Alex and his team was very accommodating. They went above and beyond, even meeting me at our hotel after we forgot our cd of photos. Great guys!!!
We really enjoyed this tour from start to finish. Each phase was fun. Howard, Richard & Juan provides great customer service. I would suggest buying coffee/hot cocoa & purchasing the photo package. You will be pleased.
I booked this tour online for October 20 to ride the ATV. The bus arrived on time but couldn't speak english and we couldn't speak spanish so we both were standing there for 25 minutes until the bellboy was able to translate for us. The price we paid online was $49.00 but when we got there we were told that we had to pay an extra $36.00 for this tour. We was told that the price online was wrong. Nothing we could do but pay the extra price because we really wanted to go. we booked through VIATOR but was told the excursion was Caribbean tours (not sure what that meant). After we paid the extra $36.00 the tour guide wanted us to drive the BUGGIES instead of the ATV but we refused, so he had a REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD ATTITUDE. The 2 ATV we received were broken. Mine would stall out and the other 1 would just cut off. We was the only 2 on the ATV's and the both were garbage. This will be my last time booking through this company and yes I will be writing this same review on all the websites. I am still trying to understand why we was charged the extra $36.00?
From the start to the end fun all the way! Make sure to wear old clothes to this activity because ATV = All-Terrain-Vehicles + Mud and Dust.....AKA Lots of fun and very friendly people. The activity lasts 4hrs and you'll be taken to different parts of the area including Macao beach which is perhaps the must beautiful beach of Punta Cana. A coffee and cacao farm to show you how coffee and cacao and get a taste as well. You will see how Mamahuana is made. Another stop is a cave which has crystal clear blue water where you can swim only if you are not afraid of the depth.
The truth this experience has been magnificent, we have definitely loved it in its entirety, we went with the family and enjoyed it like never before, the attention from the beginning to the end was complete and without inconvenience, they were always watching the whole group and they did not let anything pass definitely I WOULD REPEAT IT!!!
It took less than the promise, but otherwise top day! Was definitely worth it I would say do!
The truth we filled with mud, dirt but had its prize a spectacular beach where they were surfing, the only thing I did not like the local vendors-outside the Enterprise-, as in Argentina. the rest highly recommended must-see
very good experience I loved My wife wants to do this adventure again and we definitely will.
Good excursion, very nice places, good staff. We need to take more care of the customer who pays for that. Maybe a welcome bottle of water or at the end... 6/10
