Scheduled a private party boat for 9/11, the party deluxe package in particular and received almost nothing as advertised. The company asked to pick us up earlier and then were almost 40 minutes late. When we got to the beach we had to wait for another hour while they figure out where our boat is with no real updates about the wait. My travel agent confirmed that there will be a birthday cake and champagne and neither was there. As far as the bar, it was two pre-made cocktails with no liquor available. My husband paid for a hookah and the employees said that they knew nothing about it because they put us on another company's boat called Ling Del Caribe so we never got the hookah. The food was borderline inedible and there was leftover cups on the boat. Overall, the experience was very disappointing and to add insult to injury they are only offering to pay back $150 afte we paid almost $1000. But Javier said that they will give us $200, which is still unacceptable for what we did not receive. Please do not book with Blue Marine Punta Cana!!!

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding our recent reservation. We booked this experience more than three months in advance for a group of 30 guests. Despite the ample notice and clear communication about our needs, the transportation arrangements were poorly managed and, furthermore, the wrong boat was sent—significantly smaller than the one we specifically requested and confirmed. We were very clear about the type and size of vessel required to comfortably accommodate our group. Sending incorrect transportation and a smaller boat is unacceptable, especially considering you had months to inform us if the requested boat was unavailable. This situation caused unnecessary stress and frustration for our group. We trusted your team to deliver what was agreed upon, and unfortunately, that did not happen. I would appreciate a prompt response explaining how this occurred and how you intend to resolve this matter. I look forward to your immediate attention to this issue. THE worst excursion we've ever been on in our years of travel to MX and the DR. We took the same excursion with our private group in 2022 and the difference in then and what we experienced on 9/15/25 was like night and day. Even though I booked our tour with Viator SIX months ahead of time and they had use of my $700 that far in advance, the day of the tour it was like it was a surprise we had a booking. People running all over the beach, yelling at people over the phone, last-minute purchase of the alcohol and broken chips and a jar of salsa. The worst part was when we stopped to snorkel, we were in 20 to 25 feet of water and expected to get in the water with NO life jackets. There were NONE on board which is a violation of Dominican law. When we refused to get in the water unless we had PFDs, someone jumped in a little dinghy and sped off to get life jackets. We were a group of 10--they brought back 9 PFDs which most were in terrible condition--either too small or with no clasps and had to be tied. Once we got in the water, the current was a little strong and I personally drifted away from the boat. One of our group had to come get me. No "professional guide" to come to my rescue with a life ring. Then, when we were ready to get back in the boat, NO access to a ladder or steps on the back of the boat. One of our group was hanging onto the back of the boat hollering "amigo" over and over. When one of the bar tenders was typing the straps to my life belt, she asked me my name and told her hers was FeFe so I started hollering her name. I could clearly see her sitting on the boat but she was so absorbed on her phone either she didn't hear me or ignored me. We were finally told to swim to the front of the boat and the emergency hatch had been lowered and there were wooden steps with pieces of flimsy rope on either side and we were expected to hoist ourselves up without any assistance from the crew. Thankfully we had a strong young man in our group and he put his hand under our buttocks and pushed us up until we could grab the flimsy pieces of rope and somehow pull ourselves up. By now, the captain, who spoke zero english was standing at the top of the wooden steps. I slammed my snorkel equipment on the deck to free my one hand to help me better hoist myself up those wooden steps. I clearly angered him but I was furious. Having done this excursion in 2022, I knew what the experience was supposed to be like. By the way, when the narrative on Blue Marine's website says they'll take you to a "natural pool . . . with waist-high water . . . that's crystal clear, this is NOT the case. Was in 2022 but not 9/25. Vendors were everywhere on floats, in boats and trying to sell you their wares. Water was NOT waist high nor crystal clear. We were promised they would protect our safety, have a professonal guide, have life jackets . . . nothing could be further from the truth. VERY disappointed in Blue Marine and VERY disappointed in Viator who we booked through but yet they claimed no accountability. DO NOT book with Blue Marine. Either we had the worst boat in their fleet or they have gone completely to pot with their equipment and level of service. By the way, we have no pictures because we were too busy hanging onto the boat trying to get back on the boat when there were no steps on the back (hinges were there on one side where steps used to be!) in 20 to 25 feet of water.

I have given Viator, the company I made the reservation with for the excursion with Blue Marine Punta Cana, a chance to make it right and they claim all the responsibility lies with the tour operator, Blue Marine. Bottom line, we took this same activity back in 2022 and it was stellar but not so when we repeated the tour on 9/15/2025. Boat in terrible disrepair--no steps on the back of the boat to access the boat once in the water for snorkeling AND, worse yet, they broke the law by not having ANY life preservers on the boat. They expected us to get in 20 to 25 feet of water without any flotation equipment which, again, is unlawful. Since my husband and I were on the 2022 tour and on the 9/15/2025 tour, we certainly knew what to expect. Never mind the chaos and confusion once we got to the beach that day. They were running around, calling people on the phone, throwing together alcohol and snacks like we were totally unexpected or had booked last minute. I booked this through Viator on 3/17/25. Of course my $700 was immediately charged to my credit card for a trip six months in advance. Terrible, terrible service by Blue Marine AND Viator. No one wants to take accountability and I've now had to file a dispute with my credit card company.

If I can give negative stars, I would! Absolutely Do Not Recommend – Unsafe, Unprofessional, and Unresponsive We booked a private catamaran through Blue Marina in Punta Cana for the day after our wedding—a special experience we planned to celebrate with our guests. What was supposed to be a relaxing and joyful outing turned into a complete nightmare. As soon as we boarded, the boat’s motor caught fire and blew. The crew spent hours trying (and failing) to fix the issue, while giving us little to no updates. There were no backup boats, no professional contingency plan in place. Eventually, they determined we had to be evacuated in groups via rescue boats. It was chaotic, unsafe, and completely unprofessional. What’s worse, the management team showed no compassion during or after the incident. We've made multiple attempts to get a refund, which they originally agreed to. But since then, they’ve been dodging our calls and completely stopped responding. To make matters even more frustrating, they require you to pay in cash, leaving you with no recourse to dispute charges through a bank or credit card company. We made our initial booking through a third-party platform, WANNABOATS, who have been nothing but professional and responsive. They refunded our deposit immediately and have been apologetic throughout the process. Blue Marina, on the other hand, has been an absolute disaster. If you're considering booking with them—don’t. Look elsewhere for a safe, professional, and trustworthy company. This was supposed to be a beautiful post-wedding memory, and instead, it turned into a dangerous and disheartening experience we’ll never forget—for all the wrong reasons.

Absolutely horrible. First off, they did not have enough life preservers for our group…I know it’s not the US, but boater safety 101 dictates that they should have life preservers for all aboard. The bathrooms were disgusting - one was missing a toilet seat. Let’s talk about the add-ons - the ones we didn’t pay for…so we paid for an all inclusive experience - beer, food and rum. No beers. Chip’s came out and ran out…when we asked for more, they had to discuss it like it was an issue. Then comes another boat - separate vendor - to come sell their liquor. So in other words, here is a little bit of stuff, but let me bring my buddies to come sell you stuff on your all inclusive (NOT) party experience. Staff was nice though…but if you want safety, things you paid for, etc. I’d go somewhere else. Sorry to be so blunt, but they have serious work to do.

If you did what we did and put a deposit down BEFORE reading the reviews, my advice is to just go with it and make the best of it. That’s exactly what my group of 9 friends (40 years old) did and had a blast. We really lucked out with the other groups- we stuck together and got along great. But if you’re looking at reviews beforehand then DEFINITELY go with a more reputable company. Here are the things that stood out: - After conversing with the other groups, it was evident that the salesman told us what we wanted to hear to make a sale. We all got different information like how long the boat ride would be (3 hours vs 4 hours) and everyone was lied to about the transportation time. Ex: we were told it was a 25 min drive but in actuality it was an hour. - Transportation was a tiny bus with barely any air conditioning. - When we arrived the boat wasn’t there so we had to sit around for another 45 min to wait for it to arrive and for the other group to depart. - When we finally got on the boat it was filthy bc they had no time to clean it. Piles of trash and they were cleaning the tables with the mop they used to clean the floors. And we’re pretty sure someone threw up on the tour before us. Ew. - I will give credit where credit is due: the salesman did warn us to eat before the trip (others were not afforded this information). “Snacks” means a bowl of chips and jarred salsa. - They initially had 3 drinks: a mojito of some sort, rum drink, and beer. Mojito ran out immediately and beer ran out half way. Rum drink was gross. - We ran out of gas and had to anchor for 20 minutes to wait for someone to bring us some. - Speaking of anchors, it’s not motorized and the rope/chain sit in the middle of the boat. It wasn’t secured correctly and snapped. Super lucky no one lost a limb. - We were laughing at the “dolphin siting”. They’re not in the wild, they’re in an inclosed tourist attraction that we passed by. - We’re were also cracking up about the “snorkeling”. We were only given 5-10 min but no worries! There was absolutely nothing to see. No fish or coral. Also, get ready to beg for a life jacket. - When a friend asked if the snorkel was cleaned the worker dipped it in the ocean water and handed it to her. - Bathrooms were atrocious. And that’s a kind of description. ** Not inclusive of this tour but worth noting: we bought two bottles of vodka at one of the shops located where the boats dock and they were most definitely watered down. Positives: - Boat slide was a lot of fun - Music was good (although prob not for everyone) - Scenery was beautiful This review was a group effort between myself and my friend group. We got a kick recapping how awful this was. But honestly, it’s what you make of it. We certainly still had a great time. For real though: go with someone else.

This boat trip was amazing! I celebrated my birthday in January with some friends. We decided to take the plunge and boom the Blue Marine for their boat tour. They were well organized from the driver that picked us up from the hotel to the staff on the boat. Staff was very responsive when I asked questions about booking on the WhatsApp and stayed in communication with me the whole time. The boat was in good condition and they even decorated for my birthday with balloons. I also got a cake and champagne. We got a chance to pick the music and that really set the vibe for the whole trip. The slide on the boat was a huge plus as well. I had a blast and my friends were all satisfied with the trip. Money well spent! If you’re in Punta Cana and want a fun time book this boat.

TERRIBLE OMG IT WAS HORRIBLE and they you cant contact anyone for a refund do not book.Put on boat 2 hours late did not snorkel then when I tried to speak to someone they said I am judging my experience based off of being in american when we paid 230 and no one on our boat was standing or dancing cause we got to where the party was so late

My bestfriend and I booked with the king of kings boat through blue marine. First the transportation van a/c halfway worked. Before we get to the marina apparently there’s a stop at a gift shop where we had no idea it was happening. There they try to get us to purchase liquor and food before we get to the marina and/or boat. So we stayed there for a few minutes then made our way to the marina. When we get there we make our way to the boat but before that they take us into a little room trying to sell us more OVERPRICED LIQUOR! So we’re asking why do we need liquor and it’s an open bar!?!??!? Oh it’s open bar but limited they only offer rum, rum and coke, or rum punch! We finally get to the boat the DJ sucked!! He kept cutting songs off in the middle of the songs. The drinks were served in 4OZ CUPS LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? The DRINKS SUCKED TOO! Also when you book it says snacks also They passed around 1 tray of fruit!!! They are MISLEADING AND DO NOT GIVE FULL DETAILS!! I’m not sure if all the boats ran through them are the same but beware!!

Jr. Jamica, Stephane, eury, did a great job. We loved the snorkeling, entertainment and Jamica played the best music. I recommend this group and this boat everything was great, service was very professional.

We booked a private catamaran tour with Blue Marine and had a wonderful time. Our group was 22 people, and we got a great value for our experience. Transportation to and from our resort was included. The boat tour itself was a blast! We spent about 30 minutes snorkeling - the staff made sure to feed the fish so we got a great view of everything. The boat was plenty big enough for our group and the staff was very nice and energetic. The drinks - most notably rum punch - was delicious and got the party going. We also brought our own champagne on the boat and the staff kept it on ice for us. The snacks - fruit and chips/salsa - left something to be desired, so I'd recommend bringing your own snacks aboard if you're not paying for a full lunch with the trip. The best part of the cruise was our stop at the natural pool. We anchored in beautiful waist-height waters along with some other boats to hang in the ocean, drink and dance. The only downside was that the photos/video taken on board were an additional price (overpriced imo) and they were a bit pushy with trying to get a couple of our guests to purchase them. Overall though, we had a great time with the staff on board and I would definitely recommend Blue Marine as a great option for this type of excursion in Punta Cana.

Contacted Blue Marine to treat our bridal party & their spouses to a fun and private party boat. We had a total of 25 people. Pickup was outside of our resort, which is pretty typical if the company isn’t contracted through the resort. When we arrived at the marina we waited for about 10 minutes before we went in and signed paperwork. Once paperwork was done, our group was walked through the shops & pestered by shop owners on the way to the beach. Once we arrived at the beach, we sat and waited for an hour to board - even though we were on time & on a schedule. During this time, the boat we were being put on ran into a group of people who were being transported out to their boat & also lost the capability to reverse. This lead to the boat being towed out of the shallows, us being loaded onto a dingy boat and being transported to our boat. Once on the boat & moving, my husband and I were hopeful that things would get better, even though we were already frustrated. We were WRONG. •The slide was broken so they had to spray it down with soap or some sort of cleaning solution for us to go down. •The MC was creeeepy. He kept insisting that people on the boat kiss each other, even after they said no. The music he played was okay, but he kept losing connection to the speakers and then would take a long time to connect it and get music going again. •The boat railings were rusty & wobbly and we had a friend get cut on his foot from the nail sticking out. •There was an issue with the engine & they decided to fix it while we were swimming in the ocean. The engine was spraying gas everywhere. • We were served fruit and chips and salsa as snacks- no problem with this, but it was pretty limited for 25 people. The beer and mixed drinks were disappointing & we couldn’t even start drinking until halfway through our trip. • We were late getting back to shore, even after we told them that we needed to be back to shore by a certain time in order to get to our dinner reservations, resulting in us missing the reservation completely. When my husband and I went to the office after to request a partial refund, specifically because we lost and hour due to waiting & we felt the boat was not up to what they presented, they told us that they didn’t have the money. We had paid over $1200 for the excursion, with about half of it being the day of and the other being deposited when we booked. When we pushed for who we should contact about a refund, they told us the person we booked it through- which was THEM! The most disappointing part is when we were asking for a bit of a refund ($200-$300 USD) they told us that if the money was there, they would give it to us, because the money we brought to them wasn’t a lot. I understand they have multiple boats and probably make a significant profit, but don’t insult the money your client brings to you. $1200+ dollars is a significant amount of money to most people. Overall a major disappointment. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Took so many pictures the photographer was funny. The vibes was there and Danny boy blah blah was very fun. The food was great on the boat as well.

We booked this excursion at our hotel, a van picked us up and took us to the boat, we felt very safe and had a lot of fun. The island was beautiful, staff were fun and welcoming. Would definitely recommend

The boat was ok . It felt like we didn’t actually travel very far . The crew were lovely. But biggest issue was they forgot the booze !!! It was sold as unlimited bar . But it was very limited !!! We waited 2 hours for our first drink . I have since went on another boat trip which was much much better in every way .

Watery drinks, NO snorkeling, NO beach time, mediocre food served on paper plates. The boat took us out about 1/4 mile to the right and set anchor in waist-high water... nowhere near the beautiful, white sand beach.

the FIRST and ONLY Party Boat that I've been on that was actually TERRIBLE! The snorkel sight that they took us to was soo close to the shore that I could have swam back to shore! There were no fish to see. They only offered watered-down, pre-mixed drinks and/or local beer. The only food that they provided was a small container with taco sauce and nachos, and a small cookie. We went to a second place, but the boat got sand-logged and the workers had to push to boat out of the sand. My husband and I were charged $80 per person and it was a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Danilo and crew were excellent. Safe, fun and fabulous. We left a little later than expected but got gorgeous sunset pictures. Crew had us dancing and we did all that was promised. One piece of advice is to let the customers settle in for 30 minutes before the photographer starts taking pictures. And the snorkelling is short, which was ok with us but if people want a longer experience this is not it. Otherwise it was wonderful.

Nice, intimate experience amongst our group! The staff is amazing. Hookah is an option and the fresh cooked food was delicious.

I went there to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Despite staying in a 5 star resort, this boat trip was the highlight for us. Niki and Juan were so accommodating. The had some inviting music and and Niki was actually funny! I would love to do this one more time. Awesome!

The overall experience on the boat trip was great. Snorkeling was fun. They had fresh breakfast made for us on the boat and served us fruits with beverages as well. We went to the natural pools and hung out for a while and that was nice. The only part that I was not crazy about was the flee market they are aggressive and they get nasty. Chew them down. They will have a photographer on the boat so be prepared for them to sell you pictures and again chew them down. Over all fun experience and wasn’t far from our hotel and it was only 8:30-11:30 which was just enough

I don't recommend. This was a private booking and we just followed much larger party boats to busy locations. This excursion wasn't worth the $450. When booking I asked for a quiet, relaxing day and was promised that. We started at a small crowded reef, it was then I learned the boat had no fins to use for the snorkel. We did our best to enjoy the time in the water, despite snorkeling without fins. When we returned to the boat it had no ladder to get back on. A crew member pulled us up by our arms, I now have bruises on my legs from that. The next stop was busy shallow area with many large boats, what seemed like 100s of people, music blaring from other boats. Just not what I had asked for when booking. Both destinations were five minutes from where we boarded the boat, no real effort to take us away from the crowds, explore and not the private experience I thought I was booking. The crew was very nice, the boat lacked basic equipment.

DO NOT BOOK. Our bachelorette group booked the party boat excursion 2 months in advance which included open bar, food, & a dj. When we arrived to the beach they told us that the catamaran boat we already paid for was unavailable. After hours of back and forth, they attempted to give us an extremely small boat for a group of 10 with no food or drinks. We requested a refund instead and were denied. We had to dispute with PayPal to get our deposit back. There was no empathy or customer service offered instead, the captain yelled and cursed that he did not care if those “black Americans” were accommodated or not as he had other customers. We lost a whole day of our vacation. Extremely disgusted with the way we were treated. I’ve never experienced such disrespect while traveling. Book with VIPTour Punta Cana instead & save yourself the headache!

What a fun day! Had an absolute blast with our group of 18. Plenty of room for our group. Lunch was great. Drank a lot of the rum punch and Presidentes. Make sure if you go to have them take you to several spots but our favorite was a deserted beach away from everyone else! Awesome time with some great staff!!

Was a bit of a misunderstanding right off the bat because my confirmation said the price I booked included fresh seafood. When talking with Dolly the day before about our pick up details, she said she didn't know where this came from and what we booked was basic chips and salsa and fresh fruit. We never saw the chips and salsa and the guy passed around a fresh fruit tray one time. That being said, we would use this company again because the trip was SO much fun. For some of the couples, the photographer captured them with lots and lots of pictures. The snorkeling wasn't great because of the current but safety was first and foremost with the guys on the boat. We went by the dolphin enclosure which saddened us because of the tiny, shallow enclosure for those dolphins. That has nothing to do with Blue Water Marine but it was sad. The spot where they let us get off the boat and play and kept having drinks at the ready was the most fun part. The boat had a slide off the front and it was awesome. We got picked up and returned to our hotel. When you get to the place where the boat leaves from, be prepared to go through market with many, many vendors but I got some nice, reasonably priced jewelry. Our group of 15 would highly recommend this company and many have said it was the highlight of our whole trip to Punta Cana.

The tour is not as advertised. The boat tour operator cut short our trip time, and Food/Drink is just limited to nachos, so not advertised aswell. There is no water onboard or even handsoap for toilets. So certainly not a VIP tour for the money charged.

We went as a group of six on a catamaran excursion with blue Marine. The boat was a bit old and needed some work. But the experience was fantastic! We enjoyed our crew and especially our photographer,Fely, who was fun, friendly, and took excellent pictures! The snorkeling was beautiful but our favorite part was when the boat stopped and waist-high water and my daughters rode Big Mable pulled behind a fast boat and we got pictures with parrots. We hung out with numerous other boats and drank and had fun. Another highlight with the excellent seafood lunch!! It was a great afternoon…
