DO NOT -I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK YOUR AIRPORT TRANSFER WITH THIS COMPANY. We thought since the employee advertised since they are through the airline it would be the safest option for airport transfer but it was the complete opposite. We booked the day before we were leaving. The cost was reasonable enough the employee seemed genuine. Our flight was leaving at 3:30 and he advised he would have us picked up at 1:00 (the resort was 45-50 minutes away from the airport) we advised that it seemed to be cutting it close and he said ok no problem we will do a pickup at 12:45 in case traffic but that was more than enough time. Since we assumed he would know we trusted him. When we went back later that day and informed the group there was some concern about the pickup time and we decided we wanted to change it to 12:15. We went back to go find him at 4:15 and he was gone for the day. We figured no problem we will chat with him tomorrow. We go back tomorrow around 8:30/9:00/9:15 and no employee - we go find a conceirge at the hotel who helps track him down only to find out he was not coming in that day. At this point we are a little more concerned, he said to just call Nexus Tours and they will change it. My mom took care of this but was told they could not provide a confirmation # as the server was done but not to worry he would send shortly. Well shortly turned into never so I called back and spoke with someone else - he advised there was nothing on the account but he would add in the change and everything was good to go. About 20 minutes later I had an uneasy feeling so I called back and they confirmed yep it was on the account and not to worry - I requested a confirmation booking # and he said it was all under the initial confirmation book # so nothing further was required. We confirmed with this employee that we would be there at 12:00 and someone would be there at 12:15 and he confirmed. At 12:00 we show up and 12:15 passes and no transportation shows up. We call back and are told there is one bus booked for 12;15 and the second van is booked for 12:45 as originally booked ( we were a party of 12 so apparently needed 2 vans) my husband confirmed that it was 12:20 and there were NO vans here. the employee puts him on hold and comes back and goes actually there were no changes and the vans would be there at 12:45. At 12:45 1 van shows up and knows nothing about a second van - we had just convinced him to break some laws and squeeze us all into one van when another van showed up. We arrived to the airport and needed to request assistance to bypass the huge line due to this issue. We just barely made it to you flight. I contact Nexus Tours when we returned - after some back and forth they admitted that their employees had screwed up and made mistakes however no compensation was available due to "unforseen circumstances" Stay FAR AWAY from this company! Much more reliable ones to use.

The airport was very busy so we had to wait to check in at the Nexus desk for our private transfer. We were hoping for a driver waiting for us with a sign that was not the case. The Nexus reps were very friendly and helpful. The van was clean and cool. The driver was friend and drove safely. The return trip was perfect. Timely, nicely air conditioned and the driver was great. He pointed out things along the way and very personable.

Unfortunately, by my own fault, I left my phone in the bus transit from the airport to the hotel in the back pocket of the seat. While most reputable companies return phones, Nexus Tours was not one of them. I tracked my phone using Google Maps, until Nexus Tours told me they could not find it. Actually they said I never left it in the bus, but tracking showed otherwise. The phone was taken by NexusTours staff and never returned. I had 2FA, excursion bookings and a host of other stuff that made my trip difficult. Updated: After seeing the generic response of internal review, I am further disappointed. I was hoping for questions like what bus was it, time of day taken, so they can track the staff responsible. In this case it seems they don't care or its just systemic and accepted.

Easy! The company was easy to find and provided quick, safe transportation. Highly recommend!!

- Doesn't provide toll free number for US customers. - Requires 4 hours early pickup even when airport ride is only 30 minutes away. They deliberately force this horribly early pickup time, hoping that customers upgrade to private pickup and pay additional $79. - Nexus staff at Royalton Chic is outright rude and show no interest in answering questions unless you book an excursion with them. - When I told their staff that I am willing to accept risk of missing the flight, they still would not allow a 3-hour early pickup because Nexus Tours wanted to force me to upgrade for an additional cost. Very unethical business practice. - For customer's who don't want to show up at the airport 3.5 hours, I recommend not to give flight time to Nexus Tours or just say that I dont have a flight booked and going standby. This will allow u to select your own pickup time. If ypu can't select your own pickup time on the return, dont pick Nexus Tours for Airport ride. It is that simple. - Lastly all of their excursions are overpriced, so go with other local vendors and avoid Nexus Tours.

Our Sunwing/Nexus Tour Rep, Miguel Salvador, was excellent. We booked through Miguel while staying at Dreams Cap Cana. He was so professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about all of the available excursions. He was always happy to see us and took the time to listen to our expectations and answer our never-ending questions, so that he could book the best tours for us. Miguel is the perfect ambassador for Punta Cana and Sunwing/Nexus Tours. We will definitely contact him when we return for our next vacation. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND connecting with Miguel for your excursion-bookings when you are on vacation in Punta Cana. You won’t be disappointed! We had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back!

Do NOT use this company! We scheduled a transfer from the La Romana airport- I called when we landed at 3:25 to tell them we had arrived and they said a car would arrive at 4pm. So we waited and waited and no one showed. When I called back I was left on hold for 20 min for them to tell me they went to a hotel to pick us up and since we went there we would still be charged! I spoke with a customer rep over an hour prior and told her exactly where we were… this company is awful and charged me $229 and didn’t even show up and won’t refund! Do not use- take a taxi- they are cheaper and available as soon as you come outside.

Mario is very nice and very accommodating guide. We are a group of 30 and bus is very nice and comfortable. The ride to the airport from Riu Republica is not too far. Mario is also early, he was already waiting for us at the lobby.

Our family of 4 stayed at the Hilton La Romana in Feb 2025. Our flight home to Toronto ON was delayed by over 24 hours due to weather and other issues with Sunwing. We connected with Reynaldo, our Nexus Tours Rep, over WhatsApp and he immediately helped to coordinate our extended stay at the resort. He was so kind and helpful. He went above and beyond, checking in with us to ensure we were comfortable and kept us updated re: flight and transportation details. Thank you Reynaldo for making our final 24 hours enjoyable and stress-free!

I was greeted outside the airport as scheduled, however, I was put in a taxi (not a NexusTours van), with a driver who had no idea where he was going. We went to several resorts (not even the right brand), before he finally listened to a consierge and understood where he was supposed to go. It was dark, and I was scared and nervous, but he was laughing about it, and he was arrogant ("yeah yeah yeah" with a hand wave), each time I repeated the hotel name and asked if he knew where he was going. I do not recommend NexusTours for airport transport and certainly won't use them again.

Nexus transport did not show for pick up from the resort back to the airport which happened to be a Wednesday. Was told via their App pickup was 11:00 am. We were waiting from 10:40 am until 11:55 am, and then took a cab to the airport for $32 US with tip. Our flight was at 3:00 pm. As a backdrop, the prior Sunday, the resort Nexus rep said he couldn’t tell us pick-up until the day before departure – a Tuesday. We went to the rep desk that day and was told that was his day off ??? He was also not there on the Wednesday. Tuesday, we called Nexus five times to get confirmation. The first four times we on hold and then the call was dropped. The fifth time, a phone rep took out details, put us on hold, then dropped the call. Then we tried their APP and was informed of 11:00 am pickup. On Wednesday, prior to calling the cab we called Nexus, a rep took our details, then left us hold for 15 minutes with no information about the pick -up. From the start the service was terrible. Upon arrival at the airport, a Nexus rep suggested we tip him simply because he provided our assigned bus number. Company excels at adding stress to an already tough day. We booked with WestJet Tours. Not sure if they use Nexus exclusively, but if you happen to use Nexus make sure you get the Resort Reps direct number. We stayed at the Melia Caribe, and were very surprised that neither guest services or the front desk could provide any help with contact information for tour contractors that actually set up shop on their premises.

Terrible Service at the Airport. I arrived and had to wait almost an hour to get my transportation. The office had a mess with my flight number and didn’t had a transportation assigned. I don’t recommend this agency. Additionally, the personnel at the airport eat rude, didn’t give any explanations and ignored our complaints.

I went to confirm my pick up time for the bus transfer and decided to take the private transportation instead. Henry P was very helpful at the nexus desk and provided me with options that were best for our family.

My daughter and I were not picked up by the Nexus shared transfer shuttle at the appointed time of 12:45 pm at the Serenade All Suites Adults Only on May 29th (to go to the Punta Cana Airport for our return trip to Toronto). We were there before the scheduled time and waited for a good half hour before we realized they were not coming for us. We then were told by hotel reception that we needed to see the Westjet rep at the Serenade Family side of the hotel. The hotel shuttle promptly took us there but the Westjet rep was not around so we went back to the All Suites. We had met with the Westjet rep a # of days prior, to find out information about the transfer pickup time on May 29 when he took down the Confirmation on a piece of paper together with my email id (because his internet connection was down). He had confirmed that the transfer shuttle would pick us up from the Serenade All Suites Adults Only side. Numerous whatsapp texts to the Nexus # listed on an email we received from Nexus were not acknowledged. I also had to put my phone on roaming in order to be able to call Nexus (a number which was also not answered with a recording that it was not valid!!). We then had to order a transport to the airport and used Transekur who offered EXCELLENT customer service and PROMPTLY sent a driver/transport. I'm trying to obtain a refund for the Transekur transfer and roaming charges (!) but nobody is addressing this issue. Please beware and make sure you are taken care of for what you paid for. Transekur customer service and promptness were amazing.

I would not recommend using this company, I was over charged for my trip and they have taken over three weeks to "investigate the issue" without issuing the refund of transportation. Lack of concern for customer and overcharged!

The tour bus was very comfortable, well equipped and ac was nice and cool. Our sunwing rep Janelin is amazing and got us the best vip excursions. Very informative and well spoken. She provided us with all the info we will need at departure as well

Completely screwed us!! Booked airport transfers to and from the airport and they did not show up to pick us up even after confirming the pick up time on three separate occasions. Could not get a hold of them on their emergency line and had to scramble to get a cab to the airport so we wouldn’t miss our flight home. Refused to reimburse for that ride and take any responsibility. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Rep at airport greeted us and got us out and to bus (had private bus/van for 4 of us). Quick trip to hotel. The return to airport, driver was prompt, found us, loaded luggage and off we went. Good driver, had water, AC bus/van, comfortable.

Nexus provided good service. They are easy to find in orange shirts and have large comfortable air conditioned buses. Rep walked us personally from the terminal to the bus, The only reason I’m rating it four stars and not five stars is because we had to wait 25 minutes for the bus. Even though it says that it might be up to 30 minutes in the rules other times we got lucky and got it faster. Otherwise ii am very happy. And it is half the price of what Apple vacations or other tour operators ofFering

Rapid identification of the company. They had a person waiting for us. We checked in and didn’t have to wait long to leave. The driver was kind and respectful.

It was a little challenging to find the tour company once we picked up our luggage. However, an airport worker assisted us. From that point on, we only had to wait about 15 minutes before departure to our hotel. The driver was funny and entertained us the entire way. Overall, it was a good experience.

Got involved with the sunwing computer issues while in Punta Cana April 2022 The only positive from the 11 departure times over 2 days was the local guy from nexus. John Alexis Jimenez Solano deserves credit for above and beyond sending messages as he was supplied with them from his home after work to the travelers he was responsible for. I have multiple comments about Sunwing but the local guy is not responsible for that. Someone from Sunwing needs to reach out to this individual to give him the credit he deserves.

Excellent service at the airport. Nexus staff very polite and professional. Easy to locate. Definitely I will use the service again and recommend to friends and family.

When we got to the airport, we had to wait quite a bit for the shuttle to arrive. It seemed disorganized. The gentleman setting up the transfer was nice and helpful and we did have the shuttle to ourselves which was a plus. The transfer back was a disaster. No one ever told us what time we were getting picked up. The driver never told us when he arrived, which has not been my experience with other companies. At 9:35am, I contacted the rep to know what time was pickup and was then told me that the pickup was at 9:30am. So essentially, I was already late. I have issues walking, so by the time we hustled out the room and walked, the driver had left. They did not want to come back. And we were forced to take a taxi. I would not recommend simply because we were told that someone would call us a day before to set up pickup, they didn’t. And the driver arrived and never bothered to call either. I’ve had way better experience with other shuttle companies.

Nexus transport (Jorge) was fantastic. Would definitely recommend. And the price was very reasonable for round trip transportation to and from airport.

I bit confusing since our flight was rescheduled and we’re on the last flight for the day so our original time to meet up was out the window. Got help from a nice man after trying to figure out why our luggage was lost too. Ended up getting a ride to our hotel from one of the van operators so that was great (thank you). Still trying to locate our luggage. Quite the start to our vacation. Very nice helpful people

I had a hard time putting my flight information when booking but I reached out to Viator member and they helped me. I did email the nexus crew multiple times to make sure they would pick up on time no one emailed me back so I had to call and the guy on the phone was rude. He told me the time was 11:30 and the driver showed up 15 min early which was great and he got us there no problems. The company is hard to contact but they do show up when they say. Overall the experience was great.

Horrible customer service. I booked roundtrip airport transfers. The confirmation even says roundtrip which I showed them. They said they can’t find the reservation and told me to have a nice day. They then came back and said they only have the arrival transfer not the departure. Now I have to find transportation last minute for my clients. Tbe customer service was horrible and they did not even try to help fix the issue.
