Directions for meeting pickup was missing. Two travelers in wheelchairs had no idea of where pickup was. Finally received a text from driver when we were about to get into a cab.

Our driver was fantastic from start to finish. He picked us up right on schedule at our resort for the trip to the airport, making the end of our trip stress-free. The vehicle was spotless and had great air conditioning, which was much appreciated. He was very professional, cordial, informative and conversational without being intrusive. Most importantly, his driving was excellent, smooth, and safe, ensuring we felt completely at ease the entire ride. We will definitely use his services again and highly recommend him to anyone traveling in the area.
As soon as we landed our driver made contact on where to find him. With airport construction and signs down, we found him. Very friendly and provided a nice smooth drive to our resort.
Upon our arrival, we were promptly picked up from the airport without any hassle. Starbucks was open, and the door was conveniently located. There was a slight miscommunication about leaving, but they resolved it swiftly. I would definitely book with Anthony again. He’s the best!

I booked a private airport transfer expecting a smooth and straightforward pickup, but the experience was unfortunately confusing and stressful. There was no clear instruction in the booking about needing to call or message via WhatsApp upon arrival. Based on past experience, I assumed the driver would already be waiting at the airport with a sign, as is typical for private transfers. When my wife and I arrived at the airport transfer area, we couldn’t find our name anywhere, and no driver was present. We had to ask multiple people for help, and after quite some time, we learned that the service booked through Viator was actually being handled by a different local company—something that was never communicated to us in advance. Finding assistance wasn’t easy either. Many people we approached seemed more interested in selling us their own services rather than helping, and some even told us that our transfer wouldn’t show up at all. In the end, everything got sorted, but the lack of clear instructions and communication made the arrival experience unnecessarily stressful. I would recommend that clearer pickup instructions and the exact company name be provided ahead of time to avoid this kind of confusion for future travelers. But overall, the experience was good, the driver was nice and even played an english music for us during the 35mins drive to the resort.

It was a very smooth trip on the return as well. Driver showed up to the resort on time and once again the vehicle was beautiful and clean. We were dropped off at the terminal and will definitely use them again!

We booked for the first time through Viator and I will say this is the way to go moving forward! We had a slight language barrier in the beginning but airport staff helped us locate our driver and it was smooth sailing. The driver arrived on time, in a clean vehicle that fit our family perfectly. The ride to our resort was smooth and better than any shuttle I have taken in the DR to date. They contacted us the night before we left to arrange our pick up back to the airport. It was so quick and easy. Highly recommend!
The driver was waiting for us as we departed with luggage, was holding a sign with our name on it. Luxury SUV, perfect pickup. The day before the departure I received a message that they confirmed my departure time and was waiting for me in our hotel lobby. Another perfect trip. I was a family of 5 and we had plenty of room for us and luggage. I would not hesitate to use them again on a return trip, thank you!

Poor communication- On departure day they did not show up at requested time and lied to me and said I had already talked to the boss man and agreed on pickup time of 10:30am, not true and then they blocked my number.
Unfortunately it was a terrible experience. The ride there was not an issue. My driver didn’t show up for my ride to the airport. I confirmed with Viator that my driver would be there the night before as well. So I was in a panic to find a ride to the airport so I wouldn’t miss my flight. I managed to find a ride with the help of the hotel staff and made it for my flight home. Terrible experience. I did contact Viator for a refund for only half of my payment but got rejected. I don’t have any faith in this company.

I was called when waiting for luggage and was given instructions to meet pick up vehicle. We walked to the designated pickup location and were picked up within seconds!
If I could give this 0 stars I would. Booked on Viator for a ride for myself and 3 teenage daughters from Punta Cana Airport to Royalton Bavaro resort. Supposed to be a driver with name on board outside of baggage. Noone there to greet us I asked the mob of drivers and was directed to a waiting area. Eventually (waited about 25 mins) a suburban picked us up. In the description I was told a mini van. Driver had the music SO LOUD my teenage daughters repeatedly asked to turn it down. At first it seemed funny and we went along with it. He then proceeded to take us down backroads for most of the way - went to two resorts that were NOT the Royalton. We became concerned as it seemed we were lost. He headed the other direction which my girls said was in the correct direction only to go to another resort that wasn't the Royalton. He didn't speak ANY English. He kept stopping to ask locals on the road where the Royalton resort was. He also called someone to ask? Cannot understand why he didn't use google or apple maps? I would've gotten out but we were in a very poor area without taxis, stores etc. Eventually - 1 hour later - we arrived at the Royalton. I have NO IDEA what happened - was he a legitamate driver? Why was he lost? I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE FROM VIATOR again. SCAM - only good thing is we arrived UNHARMED> On the way back to the airport for our depature flight - we paid $10 less for a taxi, drove on a highway with pleasant background music.
Very unorganized/ it’s was two operators male@ female arguing over who was going to get the commission/ I paid for a black Benz sprinter bus to accommodate my family of 8, they picked us up in a while old auto bus/ mini van, when we travel I like to do it big for my children, we sat outside I. The heat for an hour and 1/2 while they argued and made calls back and forth, I’m pissed! Wil never use them again, you are better off flying in and getting a taxi when you arrive. Scams
Both of the gentlemen were very kind and polite. They made me feel very welcome into their country. The one suggestion I would like to make to Viator is that they need to specify the areas that the transportation can take you. When you are not from the country and you don’t understand that there are different areas of the country and you find out that you have to pay an additional $35 to get you to where you think you’re going is a little concerning. My resort address is Punta Cana, but come to find out it’s outside of Punta Cana. I would not know that fact because I’m not from this country. So I would like the provider to have an option to be more explicit and allow you to select your resort to say whether or not a specific transportation vendor is willing to transport you to your desired hotel.
